Eye Problem
Need to know is there any remedy for lazy eye (left side) for my daughter who is 5 half yrs old. Appreciate your help. Thanks.pritpal on 2005-10-21
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Assume you mean strabismus [or squint]
If you check the Internet there are exercises for this problem.
Also prismatic lenses can help.
But there is a couple of remedies that can help if the left eye is the one that is turned in.
Calc carb
and Cyclamen
If the eye is turned OUT then look at Nat Mur

Dear drsajid & walkin,
We have check with the optometrist/eye doctor and its confirmed she has been diagnosed lazy eye(left side). The also has very poor sight on her left eye. The doctor also mentioned she had muscle problem as her left eye goes inward towards her nose whenever she sees side ways. I think it is strabismus but i'm not sure. She is wearing glasses now. Patching the good eye is difficult for her, we had tryed. Walkin, what is prismatic lenses pl. explain more. Thanks all.

Yes it is strabismus.
prismatic lenses divert the incoming light so that the weak eye is co-ordinated with the strong one.
Your optician should be aware of this fact and able to advise you.

If you look at the post above you will see that I suggested
Calc Carb
and
Cyclamen
Use ONLY ONE at a time
Use 3x potency and give once a day for three weeks --
wait at least 23 weeks to judge results

Calc Carb = Calcarea Carbonica
Cyclamen = Cyclamen Europaeum
in 3x potency
Is that correct?
Are this to be taken together or either one will do.
Don't understand this : To be taken for 3 weeks once a day, and stop taking after that, wait for 23 weeks, correct??
Are these remedy harmful/any side effect if it does not work?

Yes as stated 3x.
NOT together,
Yes once a day for three weeks --- then wait three weeks to see if any result.
Calc carb likes boiled eggs is a bit chubby--- if this is the case use Calc first
