3 mo baby with reflux- please help! Page 3 of 5

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Nothing to feel bad about, some cases don't antidote regardless of whatever you do. His symptoms will tell if its antidoted or not.

Fitness,
He had his simptoms this morning, so I gave him another dose(24hr after last one). He nursed ok, then fell asleep; nursed ok, but cried a little , fell asleep. last feeding(6hr after last dose) his reflux was pretty bad- he didn't nurse much, was pulling on and off. What should I do now?

Toma24 last decade
Please use the liquid dose as & when required and keep me posted. If needed, we will increase the potency.

Fitness,
Baby is doing ok. I haven't giving him any other doses. He slept a lot and nursed ok.
About his shots- I got both Ledum in 30c & 200ck, and Bellis in 30c. When and how should I give it to him?
Thank you!

Toma24 last decade
Good progress.

After the shots, look at the site of injection, if it looks normal but he doesn't let you touch it slightest bit, give him Bell-P 30c.

If there is dark hue on the site with pain, it feels cold to touch then give Ledum 30c.

If unsure, ask me.

Unless he is in a lot of pain, don't give either of the remedies.

Fitness,
His reflux is back. I gave him 2 doses today, but I don't think they helped at all.
His shots are tomorrow. Last time his leg was hot and swollen and he didn't want us touching it. He also screamed non stop. So I wouldn't be able to ask you, and wait for response- I would need something quick. I hope it goes ok this time, but if simptoms the same- Bellis P? How much? Same as I was giving Colocynth or stronger dose? Can I also give him something to calm him down?
Thank you!

Toma24 last decade
Are you required to give him those vaccines? Having a bad reaction to previous vaccines is one of the contraindications for further shots. I often see in the history of a child that has serious adverse reactions to a recent vaccine, previously poor reactions to immunization.

I planed to vaccinate my baby, I want to protect him. I wish we could do one vaccine at a time, and not these horrible cocktails. But since he already had some shots, I can't get out of it now... they saying, what swelling is a 'mild' side effect...

Give him Bell-P, single dose, repeat if needed after 8 hrs. It will address all the symptoms. Keep me posted. Where are you located?

The reaction you have mentioned is normal to vaccine and not extraordinarily bad.

We have to look at his food if the reflux is returning again & again. What are you feeding him daily.

Fitness,
He had half of his shots today(30 min
ago), so far no symptoms.
Gave him a dose for his reflux in the morning( reflux was bad at night) didn't help at all.
He's not eating anything- exclusively breastfed . He's underweight so doctors keep pressuring me to give him formula.

Please get Colocynth 200.

No need to freak out, its nothing. Can be managed with the right remedy.

Try to figure out what aggravates the reflux based on what you eat.

Fitness,
I'll get the remedy and let you know.
No reaction to his shots today! But he'll have more next week( doc said they likely to cause the reaction).
I'm on a very strict diet- only fruit(no citrus, berries sometimes), veggie( no nightshades, onion, garlic) and chicken, turkey, some fish. That's my diet now. But at first I was only eating 3 things - every day the same, and he would have a reflux! I don't know- maybe I should be treated? Maybe I don't know, but I have digestive problem?

Toma24 last decade
Which shots is he getting.

Do you have digestive issues or anxiety.

fitness last decade
He'll get Polio, Hep B and DTaP.
No, I never had any digestive issues as far as I know.
Emotionally I'm not really ok now- still can't get over a very traumatic delivery, but even more babys digestive issues really stress me out. I didn't want put him on meds-so I'm trying everything else; but don't have a lot of support from husband or family... Also doctors keep pressuring me to give him formula and now solids! Or should I try rice cereal? I know some people give it to babys with reflux.

What were you feeling during & after delivery. Which feelings have not resolved even now.

What do you feel when you think about that time now.

How is your relationship with your husband now.

fitness last decade
Why was it not a vaginal delivery.

I was reading your forum to help my niece with her babys reflux. I read one of your replies that said you were told tht you can't stopthe vaccines and you can't get them in single doses. Thats not true in my experience. I would hope for the sake of you and your baby that you can find a more open pediatrician. Immunizations are totally your choice and i have immunized one of my three children when I didn't know what I learned later. There is a great book that is really informative and its non-biased book called, Making An Informed Vaccine Decision For Your Child. Best of luck with your baby!

Rmaier last decade
Rmaier,
Thank you for the info. Unfortunately due to insurance we don't have a lot of chooses in pediatricians, but she did agree to let us do shots in 2 parts.
You mentioned your niece reflux. It would be better if you post her case and ask for help. I tried giving my son different remedies on my own( but at first I took him to 2 naturopaths, who didn't help at all( we just paid them a lot of money!)), and he just got worse!
Thank you and I hope your nice feels better!

Fitness,
Why was it not vaginal delivery.
I was overdue and didn't have a choice, because I wanted to have a baby in the hospital, so I had to have an induction. So 2 days of induction, 20 hr of labor, baby got stuck- c-section.
What were you feeling during & after delivery. Which feelings have not resolved even now.
I didn't want to be induced, so I cried for 3 days before scheduled induction. Delivery was so long- so many feelings! First- guilty. I strongly felt( and still do) what my baby wasn't ready to come out yet. A little angry at him- because he didn't come out and now I have to have an induction.
Felt so sorry for him- he was under stress too, and scared.
After delivery I was so tired, and medicated I didn't really feel anything.
Now I still feel very guilty, and also sad because it was such a bad experience.
What do you feel when you think about that time now.
Sad. I want to let it go and forget it.
How is your relationship with your husband now.
We grew apart. Don't talk much.

Toma24 last decade
With your husband, was it a result of traumatic delivery.

We need to treat you too.

Fitness,
Baby also had an oral vaccine yesterday, for RotaVirus(stomack flu). Like last time he had this vaccine, now too his stomach bothers him-is there something I can give him?
Thank you!

I think with my husband it's both- I didn't realize I had kind of PPD and babys reflux also plays a role- I'm very stressed about it, but he's not very supportive. I'm going to therapy, it helps a little.
Do you think my son's reflux is not getting better partly because of my stress?

Toma24 last decade
His sole source of food is your milk, your stress definitely has a great impact on him.

Remember, stress won't achieve anything.

Learn to relax by sitting for only 5 minutes and just taking in deep breaths. Its the best stress buster. Do this 2-3 times a day.

Get Thuja 200c and once you have it, let me know.

How is the baby now.

Thank you!
His reflux flared up- it happened last time after shots too. I'll try to find colocynthis 200 today, if I can't, I will have to order it. Is there anything else I can give him? It seems his reflux is really bad...

Get Thuja 200c also.
