The ABC Homeopathy Forum
pcosLet me start off by saying Hi, my name is Ashley. I have been suffering with PCOS since the age of 13. I have never had a a regular mestral cycle even at the age of 19. I have been very interested in learing more about this medical condition, I have probably read every piece of litterature on it and still nothing promising. The doctors are wanting me to be on the comtrceptive pill but studies done by Dr.Carey in London showed that being on birth control for 2-3 yrs. make the symptoms ok but after the 2-4 yrs. it actually made it worse as far as the fluid sacs on the ovaries. Also I was a cheerleader in High School and was really active but never understood my excessive weight gain and why being active I wasnt able to lose weight. I have only really gained weight in my mid section the trunk of my body. Yes being 19 yrs old in the society today and being over weight has left me in a depressed state from time to time. But I dont let it comtrol me im happy with who I am but still just not satisfied. I have been aproved fot the Gastric Bypass Surgery which Ive been debating on, but then again Ive watched what I ate sis the exercise and diets along with the diet pills nothing works. Ive also been having a problem with the low blood now as well. So here are my symptoms
~excessive weight gain
~low blood sugar
~weight in mid section
~irregular period/ or non at
~fluid filled sacs on both
