Hmmm...alright it does seem that Nux-vomica has been useful. I just need to understand your last report though - are those improvements or lack of changes in comparison to before taking Nux-vomica, or in comparison to the last dose of 200c?

I am comparing the results from the last 3 assessments to see what kind of progress we have had on Nux-v.

So this is what I see from the reports made 4/7, 21/7, 24/7, 5/8:

Sensitivity of gums:

Bleeding of gums:

Looseness of teeth:

Let me consider what this means.

So it seems to me that Nux-vomica is a partial similar. There are some areas that have improved, some that improved at first but then relapsed, and (most importantly) some areas which never improved despite redosing and applying a higher potency.

A partial similar, while it can do some good, will not cure a case unless either a complementary remedy is given or a new remedy prescribed that covers the parts of the case which were not affected. I am most likely going to use the second approach.

What I find very interesting is that the dreams were noticeably affected, and that the 1M affected that level again.

I am now reanalysing the case.

Ok I want to go with the remedy I actually thought of first for you, but when I asked questions to differentiate it seemed to lead me away. On looking back through the information, I think I should have persisted.

If I create a core for your case with these rubrics:

This would direct me to the remedy Platina. I would suggest 200c, and to prepare and take the dose exactly as you did with Nux-vom.

Ignore what you read about Platina, it has many uses and it is used for men as often as women. There are no 'women's' remedies in homoeopathy, as remedies do not have a gender.

You do not need to have all the symptoms of the remedy for it to be indicated, it just needs to show your symptoms wherever they are located.

Yes order it. Strange that nobody has it, it is a well known and fairly commonly prescribed remedy.

Yes it is the same. The 'K' stands for the method in which it is made. Often you will see 'H' instead which denotes that it is made according to Hahnemann's method of potentization. 'K' stands for the Korsakovian method. Either is fine, and nobody has shown that there is any advantage or disadvantage to remedies made either way to my knowledge.
