In that case, continue PULSATILLA in 200C potency whenever the buzzing sound relapses.

Stop COCCULUS for now as I think its not helping you much and its probably not the right selection.

hi sir,
Took a dose of pulsatilla and it helped for buzzing sound.
please prescribe something for my dizziness. It is still there and relief from ear related symptoms does not affect my dizziness.
I feel like someone is holding my head and swirling it back and forth ,sideways . Sometimes I get the sensation of my head flinching backwards when dizzy
please advise sir
thanks!!

Please continue taking PULSATILLA 200C in the same potency for some weeks as and when required.

This remedy also covers dizziness with buzzing sound in ears. I am a little surprised as to why Pulsatill is not helping you in dizziness.

I hope after a few weeks, your vertigo will also get reduced.

Keep me updated.

hi sir,
I have been taking aspirin 75 mg post stroke. I have discontinued taking it since i started homeopathic medicines.
Any possible complications from abrupt stopping of aspirin ? any homeopathic alternative to it ??
thanks !

bieny 9 years ago
Please take note of the changes you feel after stopping aspirin.

Let me know the changes and then we can work on them.

rishimba 9 years ago
hi sir
For 15-20 days immediately after stopping aspirin 75 mg , I had some discomfort in chest region and mild headache . Still I feel the same discomfort but not on a daily basis. Recently ,it has started again without headache.
also , affected right shoulder is tender and aches now. This was not felt when i was on aspirin.
so, chest region discomfort and shoulder blade pain and tenderness are the two symptoms that are troubling me the most since i stopped aspirin. Recently i had blood tests done and because i stopped taking aspirin my blood has become viscous.
please suggest some alternative to aspirin that can take care of these issues .
thanks sir!!

You can take ARNICA MONTANA 30C for some days, one dose every night just before going to bed.

Take for a week maximum and see if there's any change in your symptoms. If it helps, you can repeat this whenever you need.

rishimba 9 years ago
thanks sir !
I'll start with arnica too . Dizziness is still there and it is becoming worse day by day , even after taking pulsatilla .
cocculus is not working at all . cocculus 30 showed some effect but 200c is not working at all . same with pulsatilla.
what should i do sir ?

bieny 9 years ago
Go back to COCCULUS 30C once every 6 to 8 hours. Take for a few doses and see if it works again.

It is very much possible that response is seen in a specific potency..so we must stick to it as long as it works.

hi sir,
Ear pressure/fullnes is back but it is present in a different form. Ear pressure comes and stays for about 2-3 minutes in the left ear and then the pressure moves to side of the head- area above the left ear, parietal region. The pressure is oscillating between left ear and side of the head .
I am getting buzzing sound only when I sleep on the affected ear side and not while sleeping upright and on good-right-ear and it also lasts for 3-4 minutes and happens once every 2-3 days.
Another new symptom is tingling sensation in shoulder blade and back .
cocculus 30c and pulsatilla 200c have stopped working and I have been dizzy 24/7 for the past 3 -4 days. Is this ear -related or migraine related dizziness ??
please review my case
thanks sir !

I can take your full case but before that I would like you to get yourself checked thoroughly by an ENT specialist.

In case, there is any structural damage or tissue change happening in your ENT system, it must be known first.

rishimba 9 years ago
hi sir,
I went to an ENT specialist, ears are fine , MRI result says ear structures are normal. Audiometry shows 10-15% loss of hearing in both ears but it is due to stroke and medication post stroke. Referred to an opthalmology specialist.
still dizzy . Life has become a curse for me. I am not fated to be cured ,it feels .

If you are interested to give your full case here, for a constitutional treatment, you can answer my questionnaire. We can suggest a remedy for your chronic problem.

hi sir, I have answered the questions . If there is something specific , you can ask me .
thanks a lot for your help.

Patient ID: Sex: male Age: 26 Nature of work: student , mostly sedentary Habits:

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experience and happenings.

1. Describe your main suffering? State the correct location of pain or suffering. Dizziness, light headedness, general feeling of disequilibrium , imbalance etc

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body? Tingling in shoulder blade, occassional vertex headaches

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings? It has been more than 2 yrs for my dizziness ,imbalance problems. I feel i am starting to become mentally affected by it. I have developed an inferiority complex and lack vitality at times because of this issue. This hopelessnes was not present before but after suffering for two yrs, I feel I am losing my mental composure because of my inability to find a cure to this problem of dizziness

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst? Describe the sensation in your own words.
There are moments when the intensity of dizziness increases or decreases but it doesn't go away at all. At my worst, slightest change in position of head, eyes etc results in massive balance issues and i feel a bit panicked, rushed about it.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease? It started in feb-march 2013 . For the initial few days i brushed it aside as some odd effects of stroke related issues but it went on getting stronger and finally had to consult my neurologist about it. since then it has been going on . In the entire period of more than 24 months I might have found a relatively symptom free period of about a month or two. Also the latest attack which started in july -aug 2014 was brought after continued usage of lemon water for about 30-40 days. Initially there was severe nausea then it resulted in dizziness

6. Which time of the day you are worst? the time when i get up after a nap ,mostly afternoon nap, the symptoms are at their worst and then they get alleviated to a considerable extent on their own after a little while also after studying, reading for a few hours ,symptoms get severe.

7. What are the things that aggravate your suffering and those that ameliorate the same? Example: time, temperature, pressure, rubbing, washing, eating, tight clothing etc.
stress definitely aggravates , mentally strenuous activities like studying, reading , calculations etc make matters worse. Activities that involve bending ,pushing, turning etc also make it severe.
relaxing , going out etc relieve the symotoms to some extent.

8. Do you think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)? I think that citrus fruits compound my issues. Internally stress is the major factor to trigger imbalance.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
I prefer cold weather but my ear symptoms get aggravated bcos of damp , low pressure weather conditions. The symptoms become worse when the weather is transitional say march ,october , june -july are the worst months

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc. agreeable, accomodating, adjusting, nervous , moody , sometimes easily frustrated , introvert, i dont readily express my feeling on any issues, like silence and dont talk a lot. lazy, definitely :P

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?
nothing as such , as normal as can be
- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
yeah, definitely.
- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc? yes, sharp ,high pitched sounds irritate me and so do bright glaring lights.
- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
Weeping, talking to one self etc?
I had the habit of pica, nail biting but not any more . The noise in my head wont stop sometimes . :P :P
- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?
I live with my parents and have a younger brother. I am much concerned about their safety and well being. I share a good relationship with my family member but at times I lose my head and behave rashly, impolitely towards them
-How do you respond to music? Do you feel better or worse mentally listening to music?
good music is refershing . It can alleviate my symptoms temporarily
- What upsets you most in yourself and in others? lack of competitiveness, smugness, lack of drive to excel and move further in every dimension of life. If I dont find these qulaities in a person , i am disappointed.

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly? yes, post stroke i.e. after 2011, i haven;t had normal sleep . My sleep cycle is disturbed . normally , i have very vivid dreams about what i had been doing in daytime. suppose i am solving maths problems in daytime, i find my self making imaginary maths problems and solving them in my sleep. :O :O

12. What do you crave in food items and what are your aversions?
I like spicy, chilly food but not always . Too much of anything is bad for me . so i enjoy everything sweet, sour, veg, non veg etc but I dont over eat.

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive? less thirst .

14. How is your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?
normal hunger
15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?
citrus fruits but only in excess.

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs? I perspire a lot. I sweat profusely on my forehead, upper lips, and on my face in general .Not much sweat in limbs

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type? bowel movement is normal at most of the times but when i eat something spicy, chilly etc it doesnlt go to well .

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping? I dont sleep well and this is a recent phenomenon ,post stroke. pre stroke I slep like a baby ,not a care in the world. But now i have vivid dreams and dont feel refreshed after waking up from sleep however many hours i spend in bed. I sleep with my stomach to floor with one hand and one leg placed laterally , a runners posture.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general? no i dont think so. many a times it gets repressed

20. Do you have any strange, peculiar or unusual symptom or feelings? How are you different from others? I am very motivated and driven person . I want to accomplish grea things in my life but i feel tied down and handicapped because of my illness. I see people of my age randomly spending their energy in pursuit of mindless things and i wonder if god had given me such energy !!

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication? I was on ecospiring 150 mg for 2 yrs and 75 mg for about 1 yr but i have substituted it with arnica 12c . I also used to take vertin 16mg but stopped now. currenlt I am on vit b12,b6 tablets and cognix plus

22. What major diseases are running in your family? My father was epileptic for many years but since he started taking regular medicines, his episodes havent recurred in 15 or so years and my mother was suffering from anxiety related issues but now she is fine and medicines are working for her.

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance.
5 ft 10 inch, 78 kgs. A bit plumpy, fair skinned, heavily perspiring , with a cautious gait.
24. What major diseases have you had in your life and when. Please write them in a chronological manner.
1) pre stroke- I suffered from pneumonia , diptheria as a new born and had been suffering from cough, cold issues and TB recurrently till me teenage yrs. I no longer suffer from cold-cough related issues.
in the run upto my stroke , i had occular migraines with a broken glass like aura. these migraines had a cyclical pattern to them and an episode lasted for about 20-30 minutes ,starting from the left eye and extending to the right eye . for this period of 20-30 mins , i developed blurred vision, headaches, opthalmic nerve pain etc. they repeated every 12 hrs. Also i had severe headaches and eye nerve pain in the run upto stroke.
post stroke- storke hit me on 6th march 2011, and a few days after that i developed double vision , reduced vision inright eye and terrible headaches which were stemming from base of the skull . i underwent lumbar puncture and my csf pressure was 2.5 times the normal and was prescribed diamox for reducing pressure and after a few months on this tablet my pressure normalised and my headache went away .
then in jan -feb 2013 dizziness ,vertigo began !!!

- Do your sufferings increase or decrease as soon as the flow begins?
- Did you ever take birth control pills on a regular basis?

sir, I want to add that migraine associated vertigo should also be taken into account for my case. I have had regular migraine headaches even post stroke.

Please take NUX VOMICA 200C two doses on a single day in the evening, each dose 30 mins apart.

Don't take any food or water one hour before or after the doses.

Let me know how you slept the subsequent night.

Observe yourself for the next 7 days and keep a record of your symptoms.

Share notes after a week.
