Acute respiratory infection - best dilution for children? Page 5 of 9

Hi Simone, Evocationer,
Better:
- the skin where was the neck eczema it's now clear and healthy.
- he can breath through the nose in the most part of the day and night.
- salivation, only a little
- state of mind: happy and content
- no purple rings around the eyes
The same:
- nose secretions - he still have yellowish-green secretions that I have to drag out with the nose aspirator
- cough from the nose secretions (5-6 times in the day)
- stool sour which burn his skin
- sleep - last night he cried a lot in his sleep and tossed in the bed (this time I think it's from a canine tooth)
Worse:
- eyes: this morning he waked up with yellow secretions from the eyes (yesterday his eyes were clear)
- tonsils are much more enlarge than before this cold (the right tonsil it's touching the uvula). They are rose with intense red veins. They look clear, if I'm not wrong, because it's difficult to see in his throat.
- around his mouth he has a little irritation
Should I gave him a dose of Kali bich 200c?

I would give him the Kali B 200c made up like previous
doses per Evocationer. (One dose)
I would also take him to the MD and get him tested for
Strep to see what is going on there with the tonsils.
Even tho he seems better in other areas, you want to get
the facts on bacterial infections.

That is what I was thinking too, if I should take him to make a throat test for streptococcus or even candida.
He took an ASO test blood around a month ago and it was OK. His colds did not settle on his tonsils, even they are enlarged, but now I think they are too big.

I would do both. I don't know how you do it there,
get a white count for infection and then get
the strep test also- it does not necessarily have
to be strep-But I would do it all.
I recently gave remedies to a friend who
had a uti- Cantharis and Berberis V- She had been
taking cranberry, drinking tons of water etc- All of this helped
, she felt better, urine clear etc but
still felt something was wrong. Went to the MD
and she had an aggressive infection going on,
blood in urine , even tho urine seemed to be clear, pus cells etc. She had to have antibiotics
and a ultrasound.
So these things need verification with testing.

- salivation a little bit increased (but not so intense like in the first stage of the cold)
Better:
- eyes - just little secretions this morning
- nose - secretions are becoming more clear and not so much like yesterday
- sleep - he slept in his bed almost all night (still tossing and crying some times, but he is able to go to sleep back, without my help)

Yes, I think that it's from the saliva. Are just a few red spots.
Tomorrow morning (Monday) we will do the tests. The results will be ready in about 5 days.

An acute should have resolved itself by now. This appears to be his chronic state. Treating it acutely as has been done in the past isn't going to help him, and may actually make things harder.
I believe we should move to one of the other remedies that I considered for him. That remedy is Sulphur. He may be a bit sensitive, so restrict the potency to 30c for the moment, and give one dose only as you have with the others.
Sour stool
Sour diarrhoea during teething
Greenish mucous in stool
Enlarged tonsils
Stool burns the skin

Yes, when he was around 8 month old for his atopic dermatitis. He had no aggravation at that time.

I did not notice any change right off, but his skin problems was resolved after a couple of weeks, If I remember well. But I am not sure if Sulfur helped him. My homeopath prescribed him more remedy at one time and I was not instructed to see if he is aggravating or not, only if he gets better. Some how in time, but after he toked other remedies too, his skin problems disappeared.

What I want to tell you also and maybe it will help it's that it's the first time that he had sour diarrhea during teething and greenish mucous in stool. He usually have only the sour stool and sometimes it looks like the food it's not digested.

Ok give him the Sulphur - 3 doses, one each day - let me know each day what has happened.

- sleep - he waked up crying and he could not get back to sleep alone in his bed. He is sleeping again in our bed. (first part of the night)
- eczema - he has now a few red spots in the place of the eczema and I think it's because of the saliva which irritated the skin
- he was a little bit nervous this evening, probably because he was tiered; he was not so full of energy like the days before
- he was fastidious about his food in this evening
- after the dose the stool was still sour, but again light-green, creamy and with mucous
Same:
- tonsils
- stool sour
Better:
- no secretions from the nose
- he did not coughed today
- stool numbers - he only had 2 stools today. Last days he had 4 or 5 stools in the day.
