Chalazion in a 6 year old

Hello,
My 6 years old daughter got a chalazion on her lower eye lid, on her left eye. The doctor recommended warm compresses, and a little massage. I have read sulphure helps some times, and I would like to try on her, but want to make sure it is safe.
Thank you.

Thanks so much. I found the graphites in pills. I will start giving them to my daughter tomorrow. You said three times a day, three pills each time, for two days. Right? 9 pills per day, 18 total. I just want to make sure I understood correctly.

Could I give this to her on an empty stomach?

Thanks, I will report 15 days after finishing the treatment.

Hello,

I gave my daughter the graphites on Feb 20 and 21. Around a day after I noticed another chalazion growing on her right eye (the other eye), I have kept doing the warm compresses 2 o 3 times per day, and this morning I noticed a little bump of the upper eyelid on her left eye. I'm still not sure if there is another one coming.

The original chalazion on her lower eyelid, on her left eye is getting smaller, now is very close to the eyelashes, and very red. I haven't notice it draining.

The second one, on the lower eyelid of her right eye, is getting smaller, still low from the eyelashes, no red at all.

Should I keep waiting for the results after two weeks af the graphites? or is there something else I could do?

Thanks you,

C.O.

Hello,

It's been two weeks since we finished the Graphites, and the original chalazion is still there. It is very red, and well defined as a oval bump close to her eyelashes. Maybe 1/2 inch by 1/4 inch. The skin on it looks very thin.

The one on the right eye lower eyelid is still there, getting smaller little by little.

The two on the left eye upper eyelid; one disappeared, and the other one is very small.

I keep doing the warm compresses 2/3 times per day.

What else would you advise me to do? It seems to me the original chalazion is not improving that much, it concentrated in one point, but it hasn't drain or gotten smaller.

Thank you,

C.O.

Hello,
I gave my daughter one single dosis of Graphites on March 9. The chalazion us still the same, not signs of improvement. The skin on it peels off often, it is very red.

The little one on the same eye, but the upper eyelid is getting very red, still little, but red.

I'm wonder if there is something else we can do, the doctor saw her and told us to keep doing the warm compresses, and wait until it pop up.

Thank you,

C.O.

Hello,

I gave my daughter a single dosis of Graphites on March 19.

The original chalazion has not shown any sign of improvement. It looks very red, same size, and the skin on it keeps peeling of. The small one on the same eye, but upper lid, starts getting red. It's still small, I tought it had disappeared , but it is still there.

I'm wonder if there is something else I can do. The doctor saw her, and said we need to keep doing the warm compresses, and keep waiting.

Thank you,

C.O.

Hello,
Thanks for your answer. I have some questions:

- I have Sulphur 30c, and I'm wonder if that is the same than CALC SULPH 6X.

-Also, you said I should dissolve the pills in water, instead of giving them directly to my daughter to chew, right?

- for how long should I give these pills to my daughter?

I just want to make sure I'm doing everything right.

Thanks again,

C.O.

Cpl1970 9 years ago
no it is not same as sulphur remember its Calc Sulp biochemic salt.

If comfortable you can give directly to chew.

20 days duration will be enough

Thank you. The chalazion popped up on Friday night, after the warm compresses. It drained a little oil with blood, just little spots. She is running a low fever 101.0 (37.8 Celsius) since yesterday, I'm not sure if it is related to it, or just form a cold she got.

I keep giving her the Calc Sulpg and the Silica, and applying the warms compresses. I'm also applying an antibiotic ointment directly at the chalazion that popped up.

Is there something else I should do?

Thank you,

C.O.

Cpl1970 9 years ago
yes keep giving salts, but now reduce the number of warm compresses and apply ointment only once a day and little so that it does not get suppressed again.

it will now drain out and heal itself naturally.

Thank you. I'm doing the warm compresses once per day, very gentle massage, follow by the ointment. I do it at night before she goes to bed. She keeps running a low fever Maximum 101.0 (37.8 Celsius), should I be worry about that?

I'm giving her some medicine for the cough.

Thank you,

C.O.

Cpl1970 9 years ago
yes it is due to normal cough, no need to worry,

continue as doing

Hello,

When the chalazion popped up, it did it only a little bit, and then went back to the same. I keep doing the warm compresses once per day, and giving her the Calc and Silica. She got fever las monday, i took to the doctor and it seems she was developing an ear infection. She is taking now an antibiotic. The original chalazion is getting bigger since yesterday, as well as the one on the lower eye lid of the other eye.

I'm getting very frustated and desperate, nothing seems to take care of it.

Any input?

Thank you,

C. O.

give one single dose of GRAPHITES 1M in morning, ONLY ONCE, not daily,

continue with cell salts, antibiotics will make them little worse but do not get worry, there will be no harm.

report improvement after 15 days.

Thank you for your answer. Actually, I think she just got another chalazion right next to the original one, they became one. It looks very big. I will give her the Graphites tomorrow morning, one question; tomorrow I will complete the 20 days of cell salts, you said I should give her the Calc and Silica for 15 more days?

And last question: could I give her the graphites and Calc sulph at the same time in the morning ?

Thanks,

C.O.
