Eczema and Arnica Treatment - for Mr Joe

Mr. Joe,

I read several of your posting for treating Eczema with Arnica.

My 4 year old son has Eczema since he was a baby. We were in Boston and noticed that his eczema is better in summer but gets worse during winter - when it's very cold not much sun. So we moved to Dallas in August and his condition was really-really bad due to too much heat.

So I am planning to use Arnica on him. Can you please outline the dosage and potency and complete name of medication (as I saw there was arnica, arnica montana, arnica radix on internet)?

Hi Valerie,

Arnica 30c should help your son. I recommend that you use the liquid dose which is made by inserting 3 globules into 500 ml bottle of spring water. A dose is a teaspoonful and this is taken twice daily after agitating the bottle to create bubbles which is succussion.

You may use only the Arnica Montana and I would recommend that you read the other posts I have made on this forum on Eczema.

Can you please tell me how long I need to give it to him?

You can give your boy the Arnica in the liquid dose for as long as you feel that it is required to control his eczema.

The time taken for a cure varies from one to the other and some chronic cases which have been under treatment for 75 years in the case of an 88 year old man have been cured within 2 months. He continues to take the Arnica in the liquid dose twice daily as he feels that it helps him in other ways like sleeping which he states is deeper and also helps in relieving the aches and pains of old age.
