Low self-confience, social anxiety, nervousness, blushing

Hi, I have been experiencing social anxiety, shyness, nervousness, and blushing for the last few years. I have an aversion to being put on the spot, having all eyes on me. I rarely speak up (unless I'm with just one or 2 people that I feel 100% confidence with), but for the most part I am lacking confidence with meeting and talking to people. I get red very easily if I feel like all eyes are on me or if someone asks me a question. My heart starts to race quickly too. It is usually draining for me to be around people and talk to people for long periods of time, like I dread having to socialize. When I absolutely have to I manage to get myself through it but I feel exhausted afterwards. I feel like I can't be myself completely around people, like I have a hard time just expressing myself authentically without worrying what others are thinking about me.

I really want to increase my self-confidence and my ability to be outgoing, social, and funny like I used to be when I was younger. I used to love to socialize, go out, and meet people but in the last few years or so I have become nervous, shaky, and uncomfortable around people.
I just want to be completely confident, outgoing, and radiant so I can be successful in my career, friendships, and in my social life.

I would also like to add that I feel more confident or comfortable after having alcohol (I find that one or 2 glasses of wine help me to open up and not be so fearful of being put on the spot or talking to people or blushing).

I am 27 year old female. Please let me know if you can help me with this.

Hello, I have placed my answers below:

1. Age - 27
2. Male or Female or other - Female
3. Single/Married - Single
4. weight - 126 pounds
5. Height - 5 feet 5 inches
6. country - USA
7. climate - warm, humid
8. List of your complaints - low self esteem, social anxiety, nervousness around people and talking to people, blushing when people talk to me or when i'm put on the spot, dreading social experiences, a high adrenaline or high fight-or-flight response when its not necessary, such as someone giving me a compliment and I start blushing and getting nervous. These problems have causes me to withdraw from friends and family, and has impacted my career and making new friends.

9. Since how long are you suffering from each complaint - the last 3 or 4 years for all of them

10. Diabetic or non-Diabetic - non diabetic
11. Desire sweets/sour/salt - I desire sweet after meals, and salty/crunchy sometimes
12. Thirst - often, drink a lot of water, tea, and coffee during the day
13. Tongue and Taste - coated in white upon waking up, sour taste in mouth, bad breath regularly.
14. Current Blood Pressure (without medicine and with medicine) - It's normal for the most part but I feel that it increases a little bit when I get anxious or nervous.

15. One situation that had a
big effect on you? - I don't recall a specific moment, these symptoms kind of just started happening. But maybe some embarrassment in my career and relationship that occured about 4 or 5 years ago, or just embarrasment in general of my career situation. There wasn't one specific event that triggered this.

16. Important Question.
Current and previous remedies/medicines you are taking or took in the past? - I have taken numerous bach flower remedies for anxiety, stress, worry, anxiety with not too much help. I currently take a few drops of an Australian bush flower remedies that I have (similar to bach flower rescue remedy) but it doesn't do much to help. I will drink chamomile tea to calm my nerves from time to time, helps a tiny bit temporarily. I do yoga and exercise regularly.

17. Educational Qualifications of the patient - College educated
18. Nature of work, what do you do for living? - work in an office job

19. Important Question.
Mind-behavior, anger, irritability, hurry,
impatient…and so on.. How are you different from other persons, public speaking or not, you can describe all of the details about your behavior, love and affections. - I tend to get irritable pretty often, especially around my menstrual cycle. I get really irritable when I'm hungry and haven't eaten in a few hours. I also get irritable if I haven't slept well the night before. I'm a pretty patient person, I don't like to rush and like to do things with time and on schedule. I get angry and upset and sad when I feel I have been slighted or disrespected. I absolutely hate and fear public speaking, one of my biggest fears. This impacts my ability to speak even in smaller groups or settings. Romantically I am happy, but have some outstanding issues with a parent that I haven't spoken to in some time. I am very sensitive person, I over analyze things people have said to me or done to me. I take things very personally. I tend to worry a lot, sometimes I feel like life isnt fair, why me? I wish I was more social, outgoing, funny, vibrant, and able to have a lot of fun, make friends, take some risks, find my passion, and enjoy my life. Otherwise, I am very friendly, pleasant, and kind to people. I probably try to please others too much so I tend to not speak my exact true feelings all of the time just to agree with other people to please them. Then I can get angry or irritated later on that I did that.

20. Color of the secretions/discharges e.g
Pus, urine, stool, sputum, Saliva etc. - Urine is light in color because of how much water I drink each day. Can smell pretty strong sometimes, like onions or sweat. Stool is typically regular once a day in the morning, small round pieces.

For Females Only
21. When is the period during the month approx. date?
Any monthly cycle issues? Regular, early, late, before problems, after problems,
pain, any other discharges? - Periods are on schedule, every 30 days. Severe cramps hours before and day of period, severe irritability, mood swings, and exhaustion before and during period. I also feel hot flashes, and The facial blushing tends to happen more often a week prior to and during my period. Period last on average 3-4 days.

22. Are you pregnant? If yes, please give pregnancy start date? Any current issues? - Not pregnant.

Hello,

I have purchased and taken the Argentum Nitricum 200C as directed. Today was my final day taking it.

I didn't feel too different the first day, maybe a little bit more calm and relaxed in the evening. The 2nd day I found myself blushing a little bit more. And today, my final day, I noticed my face blushed multiple times throughout the day. I also had heightened anxiety today, I couldn't focus at all at work, feeling tense and nervous. I don't know if it was from the Arg. Nitricum or from the fact that I got my period today (which came about 2 or 3 days early also which never happens to me).

Am I supposed to feel some significant changes? How soon exactly would a remedy eliminate the blushing/social anxiety/shyness if it were the correct remedy? Do you believe that I should try something else? Please advise. Thank you in advance.

What are the current problems during period?

nawazkhan 8 years ago
As far as my period, I am not experiencing anything different than I normally do on my period. But I am having pretty strong cramping, and lower back pain. I also felt really tired, moody, cranky, unfocused, anxious, and bloated the day before and day of getting my period.

The only unusual thing about this period though is that it started 2 days earlier than it was supposed to. My cycle is always 30 days, consistent, and on time (at the most 1 or 2 days late), but never early. So I wasn't sure if it was from the Arg. Nitricum or just a coincidence.

Today I'm not feeling too much anxiety, but felt my face flush once or twice (even though I am all alone at home today and not even in a social situation).

Hi,

Please take Belladonna 200C, 4 drops mixed in 2 sips of mineral water, 1 time a day, for 3 days.

Many prayers for you.

nawazkhan 8 years ago
Thank you for your reply.

Is the Belladonna 200c for the period symptoms, for blushing, or for anxiety? I'm just wondering what to expect with taking this remedy. Thank you.

kjkj776 8 years ago
For all of your issues.

nawazkhan 8 years ago
Okay thank you. I went ahead and purchased the Belladonna and waiting for it to arrive.

I have one last question...would there have been any need to have an antidote for the original remedy you told me to take (the Arg. Nitricum)? Is it safe to take the Belladonna back to back after taking the prescribed dosage of the Arg. Nitricum just a week apart from each other?

kjkj776 8 years ago
No need to worry at all. No need for antidote. It is very safe.

nawazkhan 8 years ago
Okay thank you for letting me know. I will update you once I receive and take the Belladonna as directed.

In the meantime, I've been experiencing some strange symptoms in the lat 48 hours. I've had extreme indigestion/heartburn, and nausea, with a lot of gas. I haven't done anything differently or eaten anything strange. Could it be possible this is from the Arg. Nitricum?

"Could it be possible this is from the Arg. Nitricum?"
NO

Hi kiki776,

Just wondering how you are getting on, as I also get the exact same symptoms as you and I know how stressful it can be.

Has anything helped??

Hi Nawazhkan,

I have taken the Belladonna 200C as directed. Yesterday was my final day. I didn't have any severe side effects or symptoms from it, but I did notice that the morning after the first day I took the dose, I woke up with an unusual reddened splotchy spot on my right cheek. It went away after a day.

I had some more gas also during the course of the Belladonna but nothing too severe. I've felt generally okay, I maybe had a little anxiety or anger/feelings of annoyance during the 3 days I was taking it, but once again nothing too severe.

I'm not completely positive if it has significantly helped me. I still feel nervous and anxious when I think about events that I have coming up in the near future (parties, etc.) So I don't know if its completely taken care of the social anxiety. I haven't been in a situation where it would trigger blushing over the last 3 days. Is there anything else I should do? Should I take another dosage of the Belladonna? How long should I wait before I feel any significant changes?

Hi, May our creator bless you with more strength, more courage, more wisdom, more sustenance and more patience to deal with all negative people.

Please wait and get hold of Ferrum Metallicum 200C for later use.

More prayers for your good health.

Hello, and thank you for your reply.

I will get the Ferrum Metallicum. My question is, how is the liquid better than taking the tablets? The tablets are much easier to find. Is it better to take a lower potency over a longer period of time as opposed to just 3 days of a high potency? Will tablets work the same?

And also, how soon should I take the Ferrum Metallicum - how long should I wait before I take it? Can I start right away?

"how is the liquid better than taking the tablets?"
More effective, based upon the previous results.

"Is it better to take a lower potency over a longer period of time as opposed to just 3 days of a high potency?"
The above statement does not apply at all. Potency selection is the key to cure and based upon the symptoms.

"Will tablets work the same?"
Yes, but, will be less effective.

"how soon should I take the Ferrum Metallicum - how long should I wait before I take it? Can I start right away?"
Please wait for at least 3 days.

Hello Nawazhkhan,

I ended up taking the Ferrum Metallicum this week as you suggested. I didn't experience any noticable or unusual symptoms from it really. Maybe just some depression, I've been feeling pretty depressed and low since I've taken it.

I have felt more flushed and hot this week however. I have had a few situations where the blushing came on strongly. I'm almost at wits end about this and don't know what to do or take anymore.
