7 month old with GERD

My sweet baby boy since birth has had so many feeding problems. First he was diagnosed with colic at 4 weeks then at 8 weeks told he had reflux, he was given meds which helped at first but after a short time they stopped. Then at 5 months referred to a GI specialist who said he has GERD gave more meds. Again they are not working after a couple weeks. Now she want him to go on a ppi, I refuse to give this to my baby. Just bought Nat Phos 6x and a good probiotic. Needing a dosage for him he's about 17lbs. Also need some reassurance that the Nat Phos cannot hurt him. After reading saying its salt kind of scared me. Can you please help me help my sweet baby😢
