Constipation in 4 year old daughter

Hello,

I'm new to using homeopathic treatments. Several moms in a clean living group I'm part of recommended Nux Vomica 30c to treat my 4 year old daughter's constipation. So far I have given one day of treatment, 3 pellets each dose for 4 doses. Is it safe? Should I continue this for another day?

Thank you! I'm reading about scary side effects and am worried about giving it to her.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
One day and 4 doses should be more than enough to see if it is going to do anything.

Nux Vomica is a grossly over-used remedy. It is however, truly, only indicated as a chronic remedy (to start treatment) in very specific cases, where there is a history of lot of allopathic medication abuse, or a history of lot of stimulant/alcohol abuse resulting in a hyper-sensitive over-drugged state. It will benefit the constipation only in those specific cases.
