Hi John,

Her appetite is very good and stools are normal.....I had been getting her outside for short walks, which she enjoys..I feel she should exercise a bit.

Her leg will trembles sometimes when she is standing stil..like there is spasming..not every time, but sometimes.

She happy as usual and not scratching like she was and she lays on that side just as much as her good side.

I think her gait may be a bit better as observed a few minutes ago when I had her outside.

ok--then lets wait and see ..

keep me infromed

Hi John,

What about this ?

Arnica compress: Mix one tablespoon of arnica tincture in one pint of purified water. Dip a gauze pad in the mixture, and then place on the affected area.

here is my thinking on poultices --when an where to use them..if a blockage occur internal disease state --so as proper healing is ipeded-then external application--is attempting to call t duty what the internal cells cannot adequate rspond...i see in these cases as possible detremental..to healative cause.....yet if healing is occuring already--then no need for poutice---patience is key---i have seen ligaments--take 4 months and that is not extreme case...

yet i leave it to you decide...proper diet would be a better focus..calcium soup..just examples of better spent energy/focus...

another thought against use is itchy thing that occurred after arnica 200c water dose...

any changes since last informed about bailey? WHAT IS OBSERVED AS TO PAST FEW DAYS compared --this time of day?

John Stanton last decade
Thanks John....I know I need to be patient and have been focusing on making her diet the best possible.

Tonight she is not itchy or scratching like she was last night. She had a pretty good day overall and seemed happy enough...I am just not seeing a change in her gaiting except when walking outdoors..she is better..in the house, she favours the same.

Ilovemypuppy last decade
better when running outdoors?tahn when in doors? you think this is associated with pace of stride? or distracted by more things out of doors?please explain her exact behavior ot of doors...she on leash?free walk/run? if on leash is it taut by her eagar to go?

John Stanton last decade
OK John will will try to describe exactly what I see...

When we are indoors and she is relaxed and just going from place to place in the house, she favours that leg quire a bit..short stride and stands leaning to the right in the rear..sometimes when standing still in the house, she will just touch her toe to the floor. When she is trotting from room to room in the house, she favours that leg less.

Outside..she is sniffing and alert. She is always on leash and sometimes she strains to go faster and I pull her back lightly to slow her down. When she is walking outside and interested in where she is going and not straining and walking, she doesn't favour that leg as much and when she trots outside, she moves fairly well with just a slight hitch in her rear stride.

I took a couple of short videos of her today outside...if you have high speed connection , I could send them to you in an e-mail and you could see for yourself. I also have still pictures of her stance that I could send you.

Ilovemypuppy last decade
yes send videos--to email.

John Stanton last decade
Hi John,
I just sent a video to your e-mail and a couple of pictures in a separate e-mail. I have another video of her moving slower, if you want me to send that too ?

Ilovemypuppy last decade
you can take paw in hand while she stands--reaqr view--and push lightly up an hold at point where you feel she flinches--hold count of ten---release ---count 5--repeat..3- 5 times..or until she get aggravted..when done encourage her walk a bit --repeat this 7-8 times a day--use your iscretion---when she lies resting --lightly draw hand down from tail to paw and back--not quite a rub or scratch...do thi soften...

John Stanton last decade
yes send all info--the more to understand

John Stanton last decade
Another video on the way.....she will let me lift the left leg, but not the rear right leg..she won't put that much wait on the left leg when standing...when lying down I can do each leg as you described and I also massage the hamstrings to keep them soft.
