I will try re-sending the videos..I wonder if your hotmail account will allow such large files ?

Jory :o)

Ilovemypuppy last decade
that's possible --how large are files?

John Stanton last decade
The one I just tried to send again is 4.32MB.

Did you get two e-mails with pictures of Bailey ?

Ilovemypuppy last decade
recieve 1 oic email and 1 stool passing video.

I have sent two more short videos from inside the house, they are quite dark, but I thought they ight gave you some indication as to how she walks in the house.

The video from outside happened that way because normally when I stand still she will too, except for when she is going to do her business :o)

I hope these videos are helpful to you.

We went for a little walk about half an hour after giving her the Conium 3C water dose and I have to say, she was moving quite well :o))

Ilovemypuppy last decade
how she moving in thehouse?

John Stanton last decade
She is walking the same in the house as before, short stride on the leg which makes her take a quicker step with the opposite front leg...so it all looks stilted.

Ilovemypuppy last decade
Hi John,
Did you get the two short videos from in the house ?

Jory :o)

Ilovemypuppy last decade
no--not yet--got the email telling --will send though..

John Stanton last decade
by the indoor video --it appears hipis problm--where long bone connects joint..when weight isplaced on that paw/leg--it is step back and an arching adjustment is made--when no weight...paw hangs back bit--and posture straightens up---was the middle back-transition vertebrae (last rib)/next vertebare after last rib adjusted?

John Stanton last decade
Sounds like the video really helped John,

Yes, the chiropractor adjusts that area (transition between thorac/lumbar at last rib and the lumbar /sacro area as well

Ilovemypuppy last decade
I have an appointment with Dr. Bachand, an Osteopath..for Bailey next week

Ilovemypuppy last decade
Could it be referred pain along a nerve pathway, from a subluxation in the area you indicated ?

Ilovemypuppy last decade
I can send you her x-rays..hips, stifles and lower back ....

Ilovemypuppy last decade
if can get to come to focus right --then send by email x-rays---i'll talk with chiropractor friend/teacher i trust...get his take on this.....

lets go back -to when this started--can you attribute the initial problem to actual injury or such? or out of nowhere she has limp?

John Stanton last decade
Hi John,
I will send the x-rays for you to look at and I appreciate your getting your chiropractor friend's input into this.

This all started last August, a little over 8 months ago. Bailey and I were trained for obedience trials. It's all flat work, no jumping. Our trainer noticed that she was favouring her left rear leg and holding it out to the side when standing and sitting.

I took her to our original vet and she said, after examining Bailey that she thought she had a sprained cruciate ligament in her left stifle, even though she could NOT get a drawer sign on that stifle. She wanted to operate on Bailey's leg..I refused !

I had that vet do the x-rays and the vet couldn't find anything wrong with Bailey's hips or stifle in the x-rays, although she said that soft tissue injuries do not show up in x-rays.

I than took Bailey to a second vet and he examined her and said there was nothing wrong with her hips or stifle, but felt it could be a pinched nerve 'somewhere'. That's when we started seeing the canine chiropractor who felt that it was a pinched nerve as a result of subluxations in her lumbar/sacro area and he has treated Bailey once or twice a month since. No really noticeable results in her with those to date.

I am not aware of an original injury event that could have started all this apart from one day when she was playing in her pen and jumping around and rolled over a large play ball she was playing with. That was a twisting motion :o(

I became suspicious that it could be Lyme Disease as there have been cases reported in this province. I had a ELIZA Snap test done on Bailey a couple of weeks ago and she tested negative for Lyme, Erthichia (sp) and heartworm. I have since been told that that test is not always accurate ?

I just had Bailey outside and she rolled in the grass and was having a grand time until she went to get up quickly and cried, holding up that left rear leg. I did Reiki on her right away and she put the leg down and we continued on our way without a worsening of her stiffness.

When we first started trying homeopathics (with a friend who is studying here) , she suggested Ledum 1M in case it was Lyme..we only did one dose ?

What a puzzle...I am hoping you can figure this all out for us :o)

Jory and Miss Bailey

P.S. I will send you the x-rays right now :o)

i am going to guess--by both vets and x-rays--that no hip bone problem--then like said dealing withjoint -lgament-muscle as optins..

what part of body exactly was vaccine adminstered?upperfold skin as usual?or different?

what time frame exactly betwen he vaccination and he complaint first showing?

I would have to agree , John

what part of body exactly was vaccine adminstered?upperfold skin as usual?or different?
****************************
The Lepto vaccine was administered one year ago at the begining and end of April 2005,, in two injections, one month apart and both injection sites were in fold of skin above shoulders, middle of the area between shoulder blades

what time frame exactly betwen he vaccination and he complaint first showing?

The problem showed up FOUR months after the vaccine was given and during that time she also had a bout of Giardia that the vet gave her Flagil and the Panacur to try and resolve, but Bailey has a bad reaction to Panacur (the Flagil didn't clear the problem) and her reaction to the Panacur was restlessness, panting and a panic state....I stopped giving it and she came around and I finally used Collidal Silver for 10 days and we then got a clear stool sample...no more Giardia.

was bailey ever left alone with trainer before this problem noticed?or you in her sight whole training period?

Bailey has never been handled by anyone but me. I never leave her alone with anyone.

Good morning John,

Ilovemypuppy last decade
Opps, hit wrong button...just wanted to report that Bailey is moving better this morning than she has in a very long time !

Ilovemypuppy last decade
any change in habits at all?

John Stanton last decade
Habits ??? Stool regular and good, less eye goop in the morning..none throughout the day, eating well, seems happy, eyes bright, coat getting shiner, dandruff going away.....standing using that leg while eating, not toe touching while ating, walking smoother, less effort and trotting smoother outside this morning....wanting to move faster.

Typically, she is better in the morning and evening...not as good during the day...I'll watch her throughout the day.

Should she have another water dose of Conium 3C as before or wait? I have Conium 30C and 200C on special order..they should be here within a few days.

Ilovemypuppy last decade
yes -single dose from con/water mix...

what do you mean about eye goop?how typical was this?

p.s

wil go to next town to see chiro mentioned.tomorrow afternoon..

John Stanton last decade
Thanks John,

I just gave her the Conium water mix at 9:50 a.m....we are going for a drive today..she loves that :o)

The eye goop...like the stuff in the corners of the eyes in the morning sometimes...noticed there wasn't any this morning..that could be food related too...I started home cooking and fresh foods...no more kibble..almost a week ago.

Thanks also to checking with your chiropractor friend, I'll be interested to hear what he/she says.

I'll report back later today on how Bailey's doing.

Thanks again, Jory and Bailey :o)
