Hi Anuj, Hope you are keeping well.
4th day update: on same protocol - 1 dose Hep Sulph every 2 days + 3 doses of Sil daily + 3 doses of Calc Fluor daily.
Soft tissue has shrunken some more with occasional release of very little blood.
New symptom - soft tissue area below the jaw bone is now mildly painful. Could this be a sign of it starting to heal ? Had no pain there previously. Lymph gland next to it is only slightly swollen but not painful.
Mild toothache on wakeup continues and recovers within a few hours.
Will continue with the same protocol as previously indicated unless you recommend otherwise. Thanks for your kind advice. Have a great day. Regards.

Hi Anuj, Hope you are well.
End of day 4 update: maintaining protocol of 1 dose Hep Sulph every 2 days + 3 doses of Sil daily + 3 doses of Calc Fluor daily.
Very interesting that over the past few days soft tissue fragmentation had become rapid [certainly a much faster rate than before] and is now shrunken a lot with very slight release of blood. Strangely though the soft tissue has a pin hole in it. Wonder if this means it is still draining/healing? Soft tissue/abscess area below the jaw bone is still mildly painful but only when pressure is applied to it, possibly due to there being an open wound there. Lymph gland next to it seems to have recovered slightly, almost normal now. Mild toothache on wakeup continues and recovers within a few hours, possibly due to a residual infection.
Looking forward to your kind advice on continuing with same protocol or otherwise. Thank you. Have an enjoyable weekend. Regards.

CONTINUE FOR FOUR MORE DAYS.

Hi Anuj - Noted will continue accordingly, thank you.
One further update - this morning noted that there was no blood released from the abscess soft tissue but there was some pus [just a drop] that had drained out from it overnight.
Cheers. Have a lovely day & enjoy the world cup finals. Regards.

Hi Anuj , hope you are keeping well.
4th day feedback : on protocol - 1 dose Hep Sulph every 2 days + 3 doses of Sil daily + 3 doses of Calc Fluor daily.
Over past three days there has been no further fragmentation/reduction in abscess soft tissue nor release of blood. Soft tissue is already quite well shrunken now. No noticeable swelling on abscess. There is however daily draining of small amounts of pus from it. Adjacent lymph gland seems normal. Jaw bone mildly painful only when pressure applied directly on abscess. Mild toothache on wake up occurs daily and recovers within a few hours.
Today received report of my last clinic visit on 22nd June when x-ray was taken. Report states that LL6 (LL2nd molar) has apical radiolucency. The diagnosis is apical acute periodontitis of the LL6 causing extra oral sinus tract infection. Infection may be coming from the tooth if it is a necrotic tooth.
Look forward to your further advice. Thank you. Have a lovely day. Regards.

Hi Anuj, Hope you’ve had an enjoyable weekend.
4th day feedback : on protocol of 1 dose Hep Sulph every 2 days + 3 doses of Sil daily + 3 doses of Calc Fluor daily and from Friday added mouth rinse mixture of Kreosotum Q + Plantago Q, 4 times daily.
Daily draining of small amounts of pus from abscess continues. No noticeable fragmentation in abscess soft tissue. Mild pain only when pressure applied directly on abscess otherwise no pain.
(Am noticing an occasional mild toothache on upper left wisdom tooth. Goes away on its own. Probably has no bearing on the abscess issue, but thought I should mention it anyway.)
Mild toothache on 2nd lower molar at wakeup occurs daily and recovers within a few hours. No pain even when chewing.
Look forward to your further advice. Thank you.
Have a good evening, regards.

4th day update: current protocol : 1 dose Hep Sulph 1M for past 3 days only [not today] + 3 doses of Sil daily + 3 doses of Calc Fluor daily + mouth rinse mixture (Kreosotum Q + Plantago Q) 4 times daily.
Soft tissue is well shrunken with no further noticeable fragmentation. It has daily draining of a few drops of pus from abscess. Adjacent lymph gland seems fine. Mild toothache on 2nd LL molar on wakeup continues and recovers within a few hours.
Thanks for your kind advice, will await your further guidance. Enjoy the rare event – red moon eclipse today. Regards.

Hi Anuj, Hope you are well.
4th day feedback: On protocol of 3 doses of Sil daily + 3 doses of Calc Fluor daily + mouth rinse [Kreosotum + Plantago] 4 times daily + 1 dose Hep Sulph 1M daily for 3 days [started again yesterday following a 3 day gap].
Few drops of pus draining from abscess daily, not sure why? Possibly due to residual infection. Soft tissue nicely shrunken. Slight pain only if external pressure applied directly to it. Mild toothache [2nd LL molar] on wakeup and recovers within a few hours. Also now noticing an infrequent mild toothache during the day which recovers fairly quickly, yet can comfortably chew with tooth.
Looking forward to your kind advice on continuing with same protocol or otherwise. Thank you.
Have an enjoyable week. Regards.
