Constipation
Dear sirs, my cousin (female, 38) suddenly started suffering from constipation 3 weeks ago, although she made no change in her diet. She eats exactly as much fruit and vegetables every morning as before. No cigarettes, no alcohol, no coffee. No other ailments apart from very visible cellulitis, weakening eyesight after nightfall and extreme desire for sweets daily. The only change is that she is visiting her parents these weeks, who are very difficult people to deal with as they get older and she stays with them daily for many hours to help them with everyday tasks. Her homeopathic doctor has been trying several solutions these weeks but nothing helped. Slight improvement with Calc Carb 1M. However, the distended abdomen and no desire to go to the toilet remain. Alumina, Nux Vom and Graphites brought no improvement. Lycopodium 1M brought also no improvement. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you
