Weight Loss Insulin Resistant T2 diabetes

Greetings,
I'm struggling with cravings and weight loss. I have type 2 diabetes. I was able to recently cut my metformin in half and my a2c was under 6.

I have been doing intermittent fasting for about 9 months. In the beginning it worked great. My schedule is 18:6 with some 24 hour fasts. (eating window noon to 6). Night eating is a struggle for me.

I feel part of the problem is insulin resistant and anything sweet (even with monk fruit) triggers craving more sweets. Are there remedies that could help, please.

I have lost 25-30 pounds, but at a standstill for a few months.I have about 75 pounds to still lose. I recently read about leptin for weight loss and cognitive thinking but would rather go the homeopathic way, since it's served me well in the past.
Thank You.

Also, my cholesterol levels are elevated and the dr wants me to take meds (not interested).
