fatigue during menstrual period- please help me
Hi,I get so exhaused during my period, it's beyond words. It basically knocks me out, and I am not functionable until a few weeks later. I sleep much more, have less of an appetite, get very irritated, and the period is heavy as well. The skin underneath my eyes lose volume, and my eyes sink inwards. I can barely keep my eyes open, and feel shortness of breath too.
Is there anything I can do about the fatigue? Any remedies..please help me
Thank you in advance,
kaddy

Hi Rishimba, Zigkaddy,
Welcome to the forum, both of you.
Why could this questionair, and the responses not be posted on the forum? It is against the rules of this forum to ask anyone to contact you for help rather than posting help directly to the forum.
This is for the benefit of our users - some unscrupulous homeopaths ask people to contact them, and then ask for money for treatment. Additionaly, keeping advice 'public' provides protection against dangerous prescriptions as other users can comment.
I'll let it go this once, but in future, please keep correspondence on the forum.
Best Wishes,
Simon

dear simon,
my questionair is an excel sheet which i will try to paste it here next time. i am not sure if its possible.
we are all here for a social cause and thus nobody should ask for money and nobody should comply to such demands.
regarding dangerous prescriptions, do u have any fool proof system to protect the users.
what happens if nobody comments and the patient takes the remedy resulting in a major aggravation.

in response to the original post, I know many women who become somewhat anemic during their period. Make sure you eat foods that are rich in iron (fish, liver, meat, lentils, red kidney beans, spinach, kale, etc), and accompany them with vitamin c (supplement, or a glass of fresh orange juice, squeeze lemon for flavor, etc).
good luck

Sorry, I would happily post the answers to any questions here next time.
Chamey,
Thanks for the suggestions. I am quite good with my diet, but I feel as if my fatigue is beyond my diet. Either something is being depleted from my diet, or not absorbed correctly in my system . I am not a doctor or anything, but this is how I feel about myself. I hope that I find a remedy to help me. Thanks again

You can just paste your XL questions into the reply form. You may have to play with the formatting a little, but it will be fine.
Secondly, we do not have any foolproof system to protect the users - as it says clearly, you take suggestions at your own risk. However, there are enough people posting here that it is likely somebody would comment, and keeping discussions on the forum is therefore the only safeguard you have.

zigkaddy,
glad to hear that you are eating well. i hope that someone is able to give you some advice to deal with this naturally. If not, do speak to an expert, wether that is your doctor, a homeopath, or whatever else. You may be losing a lot of blood and so it would make sense that you are exhausted. For me, exhaustion was always part of my pms symptoms but now that I supplement with iron I am better. I do not know much about homeopathy (why I am here), so far I h ave been more of an herbal/mineral supplement person. My pms symptoms improved greatly also with evening primrose oil which I would take about 12 days after my period and stopped when I got my period.
I hope someone else has better advice!

chamey,
natural treatments are the best. homoeopathy is not only natural, it is a self curing mechanism.
in your case, you are supplimenting your body with additional iron and mineral oils. thats a good solution but have you ever thought why you need to suppliment your body with extra minerals.
why does your body lose so much blood unlike healthy women.
is there a way to attack the cause and not the effect.
is there a way to cure yourself permanently so that you dont have to take any supplimenst ever.
think of it and come back to us if you feel so.
