Because of unavailability, I could not include probiotic supplementation in child's diet. Now, as a alternative, from local pharmacy, I have got SBL’s ALFALFA TONIC. It quotes as “ SBL’s Aflafa has time honoured GINSENG, a potential energy stimulant. It offers other nutrients with natural amino acids, vitamins, minerals etc. to restore physical as well as mental well being. It has following compositions.
Alfalfa MT 5%,
Avena satvia MT 5%,
Avena Sativa MT 2%,
Ginseng 2%,
Clinchona Offcinalis MT 0.25%,
Hydrastis Canadensis MT 0.5%,
Kalium Phosphoricum 3x
Kalium Arsenicosium 4x
Ferrum Aceticum 6x
Calcarea Phosphorica 6x
Excipients q.s. to 100g
Alcohol 9%

Please suggest, shall I start above tonic along with Sulphur 200c?

In local pharmacy, I am only getting "Lactobacillus acidophilus". it is not available in other combinations. Shall I start "Lactobacillus acidophilus only"? Please suggest.

I am sorry for replying you late.We have given single dose of Sulphur200 around two weeks back and We are continuing with two doses of Lactobacuillus as suggested by a Doctor here.
We are unable to note the change. My son's condition is not severe, it is moderate. We are not finding improvement.
Please suggest for further action.

Following are the point wise reply.
1. He is still hyperactive.
2. Habbit of playing with thread has not reduced.
3. Chewing the fingernail, It appears that it is reduced but still sometimes, he chews the fingernail.
4. He does not have any white spot on fingernail.
5. Now, he does not play with scented stick as we are not using it in our house. But he always tries to get face cream or talc powder to smell it. We are not finding any change in such behaviour.

We are waiting for valuable suggestion.

For Last two days, We feel that his hyperactiveness has come down.
Daily, we are giving him lactobacillus.
Please suggest us for our further action. Shall we have to give another dose of Sulphur200? First dose, we have given on 12/09/04.

Following changes, we are noting in behaviour of my son.
1. He spends lesser time in playing with threads.
2. When we used to snatch his thread, he will be very annoyed and will bang his head on sofa. Now, he does not bang his head.
3. He appears to be calmer than earlier.

He used to sleep late night. Now it has improved and he takes lesser time ( 0.5 to 1 hr) to get sleep after going to bed. We also does not allow him to sleep in daytime. Still, we feel, it is improvement.

Regarding appetite, We feel there is no change. He has fair appetite but we does not eat at a time, i.e stomachfull during lunch/dinner. He eats all the time. His body is weak built. It does not appear that he is getting full benefit, what he eats.

Yesterday night, my son has problem in sleeping. Probably, his leg and head was aching. As he does to communicate, we donot actual problem. This, we have noted by his body action. Later in night, he slept well.
A night before yesterday also, he was got up once and asked us to message his leg. Then he slept well.
I hope, it is not any adverse symptom because use of lactobacillus.
For our statisfaction, kindly inform us that is there any side effect of lactobacillus.

Leg symptoms, we observed earlier also. Timing in night, we can say exactly. Earlier, i.e a year back, normally, he used to sleep late. Before sleep itself, he will ask us to message the leg. As he does not talk, we can not say exact portion of the leg. But these days , he was not complaining about it.
We do not give sweets but he takes biscuits. Milk products, we have stopped but sometimes, when he took meal with his sisters, He ate bread with ghee. It is of very small quantity.

We have given single dose of Sulphur200 seven weeks back. After 5-6 days, we observed there is improvement in his anger and hyperactiveness. It was going fine till few days back. Now, we feel that he is behaving as before the dose of Sulphur200. He likes playing with threads. Its intensity had come down after the dose of sulphur200. He was behaving calm till few days back.Now,he is showing more resistance ( e.g. by hitting his head on chair) when we snatch his thread.

Single dose of Sulphur200 was given seven weeks back. After few days of its dose, we had observed improvement in following aspects.

1. He used to sleep early by 11.00-11.30 pm otherwise he used to sleep by 12.30-1.00am.
2. He used to spend lesser time in playing with threads.
3. When we used to snatch his thread, he will be very annoyed and will bang his head on sofa. It was also improved after sulphur200 dose.
4.He became calmer.

It was going fine till few days back. Now, he is behaving similar to condition before the dose of sulphur 200.

Now, we want your advise for the further action. Shall we have to repeat sulphur200 or some other medicine? Please also suggest about continuation of lactobacillus.
