Help, my 8 month old baby has congestion

My son and I had a cold with congestion last week, I suspect bronchitis. Yesterday, my baby started coughing with congestion. I used Vicks on her last night. She is mostly breastfed at this point with some solids. I am a little alarmed to hear her cough and worried because she is so little. My son only sounded bad for 2 1/2 days but I was down for a week. Any recommendations for how I can help my daughter to heal faster and not get worse? We don't have insurance currently. Thanks!

daughter--only a cough?or other symptoms observed?please explain

what is your cold like at this time? i ask due to breastfeeding--mother health effect milk and thus effect child...

what meds mother use so far for cold?

My baby only has the congested cough. She is happy and acts herself. I keep her elevated for sleeping. My cold has an occasional residual congested cough. But for the most part is gone. I did have a sore throat at the onset of it. I feel great now and have not taken anything for the course of the illness.

what times cough come? how often ? any coinciding with sleep?feeding?waking?stool?...etc---no other symptoms at all occuring ?not matter how seemingly small?

Cough at night and during the day-maybe a little more frequent during the day. Today she sounds worse(more congestion) but the cough is no more frequent. She is not coughing all the time. Bowels are fine. Last night noticed a slight stuffy nose when we laid her flat so we kept her elevated all night. No more stuffy nose and it has never run. I now have vicks on her chest and the AC is on and I have her by a humidifier(clean water-RO water in it). I have to leave her for seven hours to work today-her daddy has her at home. She is still in good spirits or I would not do so but I would rather stay home and nurse her. She drinks pumped milk from a cup when I am gone. Please help-I was hoping she would be better today. Today is day three and the worse day.

child ben treated at all for any ills since birth? if not and no ills at all..then dose pulsatilla --1 pellet pulsatilla 12c in 4 oz water--1 teaspoon dose to only mother ---since breast feeding--repeition depends on response

yet if been treated for past ills since birth--then please explain what treatments ben used and reason for treatment...and NO pulsatilla ...

SHe had RSV and we did give her Pediacare. She was four months old. She was also treated for pink eye twice with antibiotic eye drops. she has had tylenol for teething when the teething tablets didn't cut it. She has not had any vaccinations.

Oh-she had Zantac for the first five months of her life for reflux. Yes- I know-I am learning about natural stuff but I had no resources at the time. We did the best we knew how

what is condition of cough today?

no emotion change at all?

when was the pink eye?what (how many months)age?

when teething start ?what her typical exact symptoms during this time?

never any ear of throat (pain) complaints as far as tell?

She is slightly less congested today. Always been in a great mood. The pink eye was about 7 months of age(she is almost 9 months). Thsi is her second tooth-it cut through on SUnday the 25th. She was fussy with the tooth until it broke the surface on Sunday. No ear or throat pain. She is sleeping quietly right now so I pray she does not wake up coughing tonight as she did last night

mother only is to take dose nux vomica --1 pellet nux vomica 30c in 4 oz water--stir well--1 teaspoon dose...take this before bed--no eating 1 hour before taking..no repeat dose

mother is to avoid acid foods and drinks for a while..--(coffee;teas;alcoholic bevrages;fruits and fruit juices;pickled foods;vinegar;carbonated
soft drinks:...etc)

no other meds;no vicks; or anything remotl medicnal.

..post back as to response or lack of response...

you have remedies on hand or need order?things most like will have changed by time remedies arive...

Thank you. WE would have to go to the health food store but I may go there today. However, she did not cough at all through the night last night!!! She does have a congested cough today but it is not as bad. I think she is on the mend. I still may pick some up to have on hand. Thank you-this is all new to me.
