Renewed eczemaI'm a 46 year old woman who had chronic asthma and eczema as a kid. I grew out of the eczema but the asthma did not go away. At 21 I was faced with being on steroids the rest of my life for asthma, or doing something radical. I became a vegan for 7 years (am still a vegetarian) and took up yoga including kriya yoga (or cleansing yoga) for many years. The kriya yoga was particularly powerful and I no longer have asthma, and have not had it for the last 15 years. In the last couple of months however, eczema has erupted on my right hand fingers. It's irritated by water and heat and if my hands sweat in rubber gloves for example, that's the worst. At these times I either run it under cold water, or put ice on it. When it's inflamed, the fingers are swollen and red and have small bubbles of liquid, and as they dry, the skin flakes off. I thought it would just go away but it hasn't and I've noticed a couple of spots on my wrist starting. Could you please advise if there is a remedy I could try that might stop it? Any suggestions are most appreciated.
