Unsuccessful remedies - help! Page 7 of 7

Here is the update: I gave him another dose early evening yesterday and nothing else. What an interesting evening we had with no pain relievers! My husband wanted to give in, but I would not allow it. Today his glands are still swollen upon waking. I will keep you posted.

Okay :(, one last time then, sucuss and apply the remedy as before. If there is no reaction whatsoever after a few days-a week, then it is unlikely that the remedy is going to be of any help, and we need to move on to something else.

He is in bed now, so I was thinking of doing this first thing in the morning, before he has had anything. Is that good? Then I will wait at least 15 min before giving him breakfast.

I gave him the remedy again this morning and his glands have not changed since. We will be leaving for a few days, returning Friday, so I will keep an eye on them and let you know what happens.

Friday - The groin gland remained the same, the gland on the side of his neck seemed to be slightly lower, but the gland on the other side of his neck appeared more swollen. Normally that one isn't at all. It wasn't bad, but I could feel it.

Hey Jessica, and hmm, I would have expected at least SOME reaction...but there may be a reason for this.
Okay, besides the MMR, has he had any other vaccinations?(sorry I don't have time to go through the whole thread).

Friday night - Just an update, I needed to give Grayson a dose of Chamomila 30c tonight. I am avoiding pain relievers and he was completely hysterical upon waking in the middle of his sleep tonight. He was screaming with pain and I couldn't let him suffer. I hope the Chamomila doesn't interfere with anything, I just didn't feel I had much of a choice tonight. He's back in bed and doing much better already. He has a very hard time with teething and the molars seem to be the hardest.

Jacob, we must have been posting at the same time. Yes, he had the vericella (Chicken pox) and possibly something else, but I don't know what. If you think it's important, I can call the doctor's office to find out. The only two live vaccines, however, were the MMR and vericella.

Hey :)
Chamomilla SHOULD be okay, because it's quite a superficially acting remedy, and this is at least better than giving him sedating painkillers, although you might want to drop down to a 6x or so if you are applying this often. If you could find out the other vaccination, this would be good, and don't let them fob you off either, you have a right to know.

I really hope to not have to apply it often, just when he gets really bad like this, which is generally right before the erruption of the tooth or some part of it. If I see that he needs it more often, I will invest in a lower potency. Point well taken. Thanks! I will have to call my son's pediatrician next week to find out what else, if anything, he was vaccinated with. My husband brought him to that appointment. I also wanted to find out what his next round of vaccines should include so I can look into nosodes in preparation for them.

Saturday - He slept great last night after appying the Chamomila. He is in a great mood this morning. Now again this morning, I feel like his neck gland is lower, like I thought yesterday. The groin gland is still the same I think.

Dear Jessica, do you want to continue this here, or the same place as your Husband's case? Up to you, I'm good either way ;)

Whatever is easier for you, although, moving the forum also means bringing with it the start of everything, doesn't it? Let me know what you think. Doesn't matter to me either.

I can just make a first post with the progress so far if you want, but whichever you prefer, although I have to admit, it would be easier having you both in one place, heh.

Hi Jacob, since we don't have the other thread going yet, I thought I would update you here. I called the pediatrician and got the details about his vaccines from a nurse:
- early July (12 month appt) - MMR, vericella and polio (not oral).
His reaction was 3-4 weeks later, then he got three more vaccines:
-late Sept (15 month appt) - D-Tap, Hib, and prevnar.
He had a possible reaction to this too when he wouldn't bend his left knee for about 24 hours and cried if I tried to bend it. That resolved fairly quickly though. The swollen glands are the only thing that remained for 4 1/2 months now.
I have also been told that he might be all caught up on vaccines until he reaches 4 or 5 years unless osmething new has come out. That makes me breath a sign of relief!
