This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Perhaps Sulphur, 30c. as it is indicated for gout pain in 1st toe and foot. Put 4 pellets in half full water bottle. Bang bottle in palm of hand 5 times before taking dose. 1 tsp. or 1 sip is a dose. Can dose 3-4 times per day but always bang bottle before dose so as to slightly increase potency each time. Do not eat or drink 15 minutes either side of dosing. Stop taking altogether once symptoms improve.

Let us know if that helps. :)

I also meant to say, keep the water bottle in the refridgerator. Label it so others don't drink it or you don't accidently drink all of it.

Hi Busymominme,
Thanks for yr posting; A friend of mine brought me ARNICA 200 in liquid form and gave me twice , one drop of it in one spoon of water. I t gave me immediate relief. I took it for three days and it is gone. However, sulpher arrived in the mail to day which I should use next time for any other purpose you may kindly propose.
Thanks,
Davendra

Unless you have hot feet in bed dislike breakfast and have a bowel motion first thing in the morning ---

stick to the Arnica.

Hi Walkin,
Thanks for yr msg; In fact, I am now perfectly OK; no pain, no swelling; I stopped taking ARNICA or any medication for now. Do you think that ARNICA helps reducing URIC ACID or just gives relief to pain;If it helps in reducing Uric Acid formation, then should I continue? Thanks,

Davendra

To Devendra

I was interested to learn that Arnica 200c taken twice daily for 3 days cured your gout in your big toe.

I have been using extensively for ailments that are not even listed in the homeopathic texts and have recorded my findings on this forum a year ago on

http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/42450/.

I shall have to add your application for gout to my list.

You have inquired can help uric acid but I do not think that it can help you in this regard.

However you can use the lower potency Arnica 30c in the wet dose twice daily and you can check your urine in a week for results.

The wet dose is made by inserting 2 drops of the Arnica 30c into a 500ml bottle of spring water which is shaken hard (succussed) before you sip a teaspoonful twice daily.

If this does not help you please post again and I shall indicate another remedy which can help.

Hi Joe,
I posted a msg for you and after that I browsed through your referred Forum on Brief Histories on the application of ARNICA- very useful and elaborate. I really appreciate your effort in this regard.
I found that my family Doctor found slight indication of BPH and prescribed Tamsulosin 0.04mg once a day; I wonder if this caused me the formation excessive uric acid; However, I need your furthe advice, should I continue along with ARNICA as suggested.
thanks,
Davendra

For some reason I am not getting the email alerts today and I checked your post down the page. If I do not reply please send me an email from my profile by clicking on my name.

Here is how Tamsulosin works by relaxing the muscles:

Tamsulosin (tam-SOO-loh-sin) is used to treat the signs and symptoms of benign enlargement of the prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH). Benign enlargement of the prostate is a problem that can occur in men as they get older. The prostate gland is located below the bladder. As the prostate gland enlarges, certain muscles in the gland may become tight and get in the way of the tube that drains urine from the bladder. This can cause problems in urinating, such as a need to urinate often, a weak stream when urinating, or a feeling of not being able to empty the bladder completely.

Tamsulosin helps relax the muscles in the prostate and the opening of the bladder. This may help increase the flow of urine and/or decrease the symptoms. However, tamsulosin will not shrink the prostate. The prostate may continue to get larger. This may cause the symptoms to become worse over time. Therefore, even though tamsulosin may lessen the problems caused by enlarged prostate now, surgery still may be needed in the future.

You may like to know that Arnica fulfills this same function. It does so in a far safer manner than the drug and you can safely replace the drug with the Arnica.

Davendra,
I am so happy to hear your gout in your toe is better! Whether it be from Arnica or any other remedy - hooray!

As for the Rx sulphur, please note rubrics:

pain, big toe: sulph
pain, joint: sulph
pain, gouty, joints of: sulph

boericke specifically states: extremities: rheumatic gout: sulph

Many means to an end, glad the Arnica worked. I should buy stock in Arnica. ;)

To Busy M

Glad to note that you have been converted as I have been for the last 11 years during which period I discovered that if I do not take it nightly as I do now in the 30c potency, I do not sleep well and am also prone in a few weeks to a higher BP and the standard aches and pains commensurate with my age of 77 years.

I am convinced that it is the Arnica that keeps me as fit as I am today and my own experience when I willingly was the guinea pig proves that Arnica can only help in every way.

I recommend that anyone who reads this post also used it in the wet dose method and experience for themselves the many benefits that follow a daily dose last thing at night.
