Diabetes and the military
My 17 yr old son was diagnosed last year with type 1 diabetes.His life long dream was to join the military and because of this they tell him he cannot .Can anyone give us any advise? Does the cinnamon and anirca30c really work ?ifeel such a need to help my son fullfil his dreamsthank you

with type 1 it may help but will not cure. some misdiagnosing of type one in young people has happened and MODY diabetes is the cause - a kind of type 2, but generally speaking he has it for life. Don't distress tho - he can live happily with this.
I very much doubt he will be accepted in the military with present rulings, unless in an admin job, but things may change with their rulings on employment, you never know!
