chronic asthma and mucus problems

I am 28years old and have been suffering form chronic
asthma for 18 years now
i have tried many types of medication e.g
inhalers,predinoslone and anti-biotics

my chest is full of mucus and this gives problems day and night.
i use my inhaler sometimes up to 12 times a day when it is bad.
i suffer from severe wheezing and difficulty in breathing
there is alot of mucus in my chest and when some of it clears sometimes it makes my life alot easier for a short period of time.
i would be grateful if you could tell me a remedy to take and how to take it in detail and how long and what not to eat aswell if this would help me in anyway!
im prepared to take any medicine that would cure this and give me relief of this awful problem

you please define that what thing make your condition better or worse, for example,
weather= cold, damp or warm
certain time = morning, evening, night etc
drsajid last decade
My condition gets worse if i have a cold and im always sneezing in the morning when i get up!
In warmer climates my asthma seems to calms down a ive felt this everytime ive been away on holidays to hot climates!
when its cold i suffer alot more than usuall and my wheezing is very bad during the night and first thing in the morning.
i have alot of phelegm in my lungs and chest area and in the past when i have taken homeopathic medicine the phelegm has cleared slighty in my lung or chest by me actually spitting it out or throwing up its actually made my days better because the wheezing has stopped until there is a build up of phehegm again.
my ashtma is very bad and ive tried everything believe me and im yet to find a remedy that will cure this. If there is a remedy that could possibly stop the phelegm or the build of phelegm i would be very grateful.
At the moment in taking
2 puffs of Becotide inhaler in the morning and evening and use my ventolin inhaler during the day and night when required and believe me its required too many times.
every so often im put back on predinisolone and anti-biotics.
im fed up of this because i cant sleep properly and it limits my daily activities.
if there is any remedy out there then please inform me ill be very grateful for this.

you please take 1 dose of SEPIA 30, and wait for the progress, also report back.
drsajid last decade

why are you trying to mislead an innocent patient who has come here to get help.

we all know that an 18 year long chronic asthmatic case cannot be treated by one dose of SEPIA 30C.

neither you have the totality of her symptoms nor the dominant miasm.

on what basis you have suggested one dose of SEPIA and expect to wait for progress.

with the limited information the patient has given, ARS ALB or CARBO VEG are indicated.

can you please enlighten all of us, without taking the full case, how did u zero in on SEPIA.
rishimba last decade
I have no need to satisfy you, but for your kind information the remedy SEPIA is selected according to the symptoms, so you have no need to worry, second thing is that , i have said to the patient to report if he feel changes in his conditions, how you consider that i will not repeat the selected remedy?
third thing is, ARS ALB, has not the symptom, 1= sneezing in the morning.
2= Asthmatic respiration amel by expectoration.
so i think patient must take SEPIA, which covers all giving symptoms.

For chronica asthma, eczema and all mucous related problems, patient - please avoid all dairy and dairy products ie.cow's/goat's milk, cheese, yoghout . Avoid it all. Dairy is mucous forming and is best avoided in your circumstances.

if you see the above extracts from kent's repertory, you will find that there are a number of remedies indicated for asthmatic cough, worse in the morning...

my question is, without taking the full disease picture, how did u converge to SEPIA.

you have not even taken the mental symptoms and PQRS of SEPIA into consideration.

please tell us which repertory are you refering to. where is it stated that SEPIA is the only remedy for asthmatic cough worse morning and asthma relieved by expectoration.

this is not the way to treat a 18 year long asthmatic case.

i would like the moderator and all other homoeopaths to comment on the above.

the reputation of this site will get tarnished if the prescribers here suggest off-hand remedies like that.

taking the help of softwares in repertising is ok to some extent. when you reperorise, please ensure that you take all of the patient's symptoms, where mentals are very important.

finally you have to get the full drug picture and match with that of the disease picture. to do so you have to refer the materia medica and finally zero in on the remedy.

the PQRS of the patient have not been asked.

in this condition, i would get all other symptoms of the patient and then repertorise because it is a chronic case.

here i would still go for ARS ALB.

Please indicate if you have used the many remedies that have been prescribed by others on this thread and how you responded to their therapy.
Joe De Livera last decade
Hi Hazro - thanks for letting me know about your dairy intake. I wish you all the best.

Hi Lionpn - I don't have any scars anymore. I can't identify one single thing that helped, (although i believe the silicea did its bit) only that over time the epidermis has renewed and my skin has completely healed. I am a bit fan of Fish Oils and essential fatty acids, and put calendula cream on my face daily.

To Naz T (Hazro)

I have just received your email and am deeply concerned at the immense suffering that you have undergone for the last 10 years in a manner that I feel is so unnecessary if only the correct remedies were used at the beginning of your suffering. I hope to first stabilize your lungs and later eradicate this disease from your system.

I have decided to try to help you on the ABC so that others too can come to my assistance in the event that I do not succeed in at least alleviating your Asthma. I would like you to understand clearly that my therapy which I have used in many cases is by no means a quick fix but you may like to remember that I have a few cases that were perhaps not as bad as yours that I have cured. There is one shining example of my grand niece who is now 22 years old who also like you finished a Ventolin inhaler in under a month and today does not have any asthma at all after suffering from it from the time she was a 3 year old. I was able to help her to overcome her asthma in about 9 months under my therapy which is the standard treatment that I use for Asthmatics like you.

I would like to start you off on Tuberculinum 200c which you will take just one dose of 4 pellets under the tongue when you are not suffering from a cold which you state is very often. This remedy will hopefully reduce your getting infected by colds which may be the reason for your daily fight against asthma.

I recommend that you inhale steam from an open electric kettle or jug which you will place between your legs while seated on a low chair. You will inhale the steam for at least 5 minutes as often as possible and at least 3 times daily to ensure that the phlegm in your lungs is coughed out. You can get someone to thump the back of your chest while you are lying face downwards across your bed with your chest propped up by pillows and slightly higher than your face and you will discover that the phlegm that you can bring out from your lungs will be in cupfullsl. This should help to clear the air passages in your lungs which are obviously blocked and which will have to be brought back to normal ASAP.

You will use Nat Sulph 6c in the wet dose which is made by inserting 2 drops of the liquid remedy into a 500ml bottle of spring water which is shaken hard every time before you sip a teaspoonful which is a dose just once daily.

You will use Ars Alb 200 in the dry pellets if you have an attack when you feel that you cannot breathe when you would use an inhaler. You will soon discover that you will not require the Ars A when the Nat Sulph takes over which will be in 24 hours or less.

You will STOP all other drugs and remedies that you are taking today.

You will report your response daily if possible on this forum for the first week and every other day thereafter till further notice.

I hope and pray that my therapy will help you.
