14 Mth Old with ear infection

Hi All

Was wondering if anyone knew a good rememdy for ear infections?

My 14 month old baby has just recently had an ear infection and was put on antibiotics.

I think he is starting with another infection.

His symptoms are:

-Keeps pulling at ear, sometimes ear is red and hot.
- He is whingy and just follows me round all day clinging to my legs!
- His appetite is not as it usually is, only eating small amounts.
- He has a lot of ear wax, but always has had.
- There are no other symptoms as yet, apart from that I think it is causing pain during the night, as he is restless and has been crying in sleep

My 4 year old daughter had repeated ear infections when younger aswell. We visited a homeopath and she was treated with Pulsatilla as a constitutional rememdy. Her ear infections have just started to come back, but it has been 3 years since the last infection!

any help would be appreciated!

Cheers

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
based on the symptoms you have presented, you can try CHAMOMILLA 30C twice or thrice a day for 2 days.

CALC FLUOR 30C is also beneficial in cases of middle ear suppurations.
