Pterygium remedy

I have pterygium in my right eye, probably got it from over sun exposure starting three years ago. It didn't get bad until a few months ago and I think it was drying out due to over alcohol consumption (i work at a resort where the alcohol is free and the socializing is manditory). Recently I've become a very good girl with alcohol just to curb the disaster of my eye getting much worse. Additionally, I have found that drinking plenty water and a raw garlic intake has reduced redness and itchiness. I'm ready for the next level:) So, i've read the history of posts on the topic. My thanks to the website hosts and supporters for their fabulous job. I'm guessing I need zinc met. Still, I want to make sure there isn't something better I should be taking. The kinda person I am is pretty upbeat, eco-minded, slight nervousness but also laid back on the whole. I spend a lot of time outdoors, for the job, and I find the sun bothers my eye and so does the computer. It's worse when i first get up and at night. It sucks to have pterygium but it helps me to curb my habits healthier and actually i feel a lot better wholistically. i greatly appreciate anyones help on what i could take, and what form i should buy the medicine in (eg. pills/granuals/liquid dilution), what dosage and frequency and all that wonderful jazz. I'd love to rid myself of this. thank you in advance.
