Well Dr. Sameer, I do not dare to, right now.
I have bought Calcarea Carb. 200C bottle (Reckeweg) yesterday.
I just want to report that my father continues to have lots of sneezing, perhaps increased. I do not know your location but here in our city in India which is slightly colder, it has started to get cold in morn./night though day is hot. No sweaters, etc. needed. But weather is making everybody dry. All of us including my father are highly dry skin type.
Today went out for an hour at 12 noon. It was normally hot. But even then, my father's nose was blocked. His voice has been different accordingly. On returning he had some sneezing (after meals). Sometimes I feel the sneezing is after meals too.
OK.

Dear Dr. Sameer,
I was not going to update (and disturb) you till 4-5 days. I had decided not to ask my father for about 3-4 days how he felt. But today evening at 6 after office he told me without my asking that he was again feeling heaviness/indigestion feeling as earlier today.
Has the time to give Calc. Carb 200 come? Please advise what to do. From my previous experiences it seems that he shall complain more and more in the next 2-3 days.
So please advise.

Please recall that I had given him Calc. carb. 30 on 17th Oct., 3 doses.
It is 27th night now, so 11 days including 17th since he took his medicine.

arb_all last decade
You can give the 200c dose now.

Dissolve 2 drops in one cup filtered water, stir, and give a spoon from there.

Report after 3 weeks.

Sorry I did not reply immediately.
I gave Calc. Carb 200 to my father day before yesterday evening on 28th Oct.
I am not too sure if 2 drops or 3 drops fell into the water. But I hope that wasn't too critical.

I also hope situation will improve much. I will update.

Dear Dr. Sameer,
My father took Calc. 200 on 28th. Overall there was not much change so not much improvement too.
Day before yesterday, he had to climb stairs for 2 floors. After that his back started to ache. Since two days, he is unable to get up properly from a sitting position. He gets up with difficulty (from a seat) and then walks without being able to stand erect immediately. His lower back is in pain.
He had to apply Volini pain relief cream on the back. He also took Crocin Pain Relief (Paracetamol+Caffein) one or two tablets since I had suggested that in the past.
Kindly advise what to do.(
I can only apply hot/cold bag or apply some lotion/cream and allow him Crocin Pain Relief.)

On. Sat. 31st Oct. I requested him to do all routine tests. Two years back left kidney stone had been seen and as I told he took homeopathy for that. The pathology doctor who is an aquaintance suggested my father not to worry about stone and said there was no need of sonography.

Well, all his reports were normal and the doctor even commented that he had maintained himself well. (HDL high, LDL low and liver function tests, urine, stool, etc. were normal.) His Hb. was high as usual 15.6. I have seen on the internet that certain heart patients tend to have high Hb. That seems to be the case here.

I requested my father to check for B12 again. That report is yet to come. I forgot to mention that 2 years ago my father's B12 level was too low and doctor prescribed Neurobion and he took injections and then tablets.
But by the time we had all the good reports, his back was aching.

So, please Dr. Sameer advise me on what to do.

I wrote the previous post in the morning.
Late evening my father has added that today first time after he took that dose (of Calc. Carb 30) given by me, he again had stomach pain/ache. He said he again had 'cramps' in abdomen throughout the afternoon with some relief by evening.

Dear Dr. Sameer kindly advise on this too.

Dear Dr. Sameer,
I felt that while I asked my father to be patient and wait, I should update also.
My father said today evening that he has started to have the usual stomach problem (some sort of aching, little pressure, etc. in the abdominal region). He said that problem has been coming (that means in the last 3-4 days) as usual at around 5 to 5:30 pm.
Back ache has little improvement. Our past experience is that it takes about 4 days to subside with the help of occasional tablet and regular ointment for 3-4 days.

Hello Dr. Sameer.
There is a correction in my previous post.
It is night 10:50 pm and I asked my father 'how about the stomach/digestion...? Was it the same today...problem around 5 pm to 5:30 pm...?'
He said 'No, the problem starts after meals around 1 pm and continues till about 6 pm...' (My father eats morning meal around 11 to 11:30 am and then takes rest of about 20-25 minutes around 12 noon up to about 12:30 pm.)
Please note this.

I have also observed that he starts sneezing as soon as he enters the gate of the house. Earlier long back we used to joke that he had allergy to the house...or even to his wife...! We also felt many years back that it may be due to some minute smell of mango tree just outside the house. But the tree has died years ago and these 8 days my mother was out of station, even then my father had sneezing 3-4 times as soon as he entered the gate in the evening. Of course I have already told the other times of sneezing (morn. and evening).
OK.

Dear Dr. Sameer,
My father came as usual to pick me at the stop after office at 6:15 pm. While going home, he expressed on his own that he had lot of stomach pain/ache today...cramps, etc. He added that he is trying not to take any medicine.
Today, his voice was revealing blocked nose, and slightly hoarse. He has caught cold a bit. The back-ache seemed just manageable.
Please advise what to do.
Yes I do agree that he seems somewhat better mentally. The sneezing is less but cold symptoms are there so it may come back any moment. His physical movements may not be that 'draggy' or 'sluggish'.
Overall, his physical suffering is still a lot, esp. stomach/abdomen pain during the afternoon.

Please comment.

Dear Dr. Sameer,
You asked me to wait for a week. It is one week now.
I have already been updating and I am sure you have seen my posts.
Today I asked my father how he felt. He said the following:
I am not yet feeling that much energy (that I expect).
2. Stomach was better. I did not have that much problem of the sense of 'pressure' (in chest+abdominal region). But after today's supper itself he called me near and told that after eating food for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours he has pressure and belching . Yes constant belching has been his problem. I am sorry I did not use this word earlier. It describes an important aspect of his problems. Belching anytime, more after eating but also after a long gap, intermittently...
3. (In the evening 6:15 pm he said) Problem of vertigo is increasing. (It quickly relates to indigestion but I have my observations and experience that this may be due to increase in BP also.)
4. (I reminded him that) sneezing is less. (I said voice still shows heaviness and indicates blocked nose but he said) during these days, the blocking of nose has reduced.

(I also did not observe excessive sluggishness in him except when he had much back pain.)

Dr. Sahab, overall there has been improvement as I see. But I am a bit afraid that problems are showing up again, sort of (maybe in lower intensity....I do not know). Please advise now. What to do next?
I am slightly impatient to take a next step for him so that he does not go back in trouble again.

I forgot to tell that his B12 level has come to 300 (units) where normal was given in the report as 200-911 (or near about). So, his B12 report has improved!

Please please advise for the next step.

Dear Dr. Sameer,
The general health check up of my father has shown good reports (as in the past). Also, the B12 has been better now. As I have been saying, there is improvement in sneezing, pressure/acidity/ache of stomach/abdomen, etc.
So I have become quite hopeful of a large improvement in my father's health if treatment is continued.

I am eagerly waiting for your further advise please.

Hi,

Please wait for 1 more week.

Thank you Dr. Sameer.
It will be tough but I shall try to be patient.
More importantly, if it is ok with my father then all is acceptable.

Dear Sir (Dr. Sameer),
It is more than a week now. I could not write yesterday but I asked my father how were things, how he felt.
I did not interrupt him and let him speak.

He expressed as follows (not exact words) -
'There is about fifty percent improvement since I took the medicine given by you. Digestion is also almost 50% better.
The acidity, cramps in stomach, etc. are better. Vertigo is better comparatively, but still continued. It (vertigo) keeps lingering... time and again.
I still do not feel hungry as expected. But I have not taken any antacid like Gelusil or Pantodac (or Zinetac) even one in the past one month after I took your medicine.'

Now my observations are as follows-
He is still worried about his appetite as earlier, which is wants back. (That will assure him that his digestion is good.) That means he still doesn't feel hungry well.
His sneezing has reduced a lot in spite of cold damp weather in the past 10 days in most parts of India with lots of rains in our city. (The thunderstorms may have affected him less now.) Similarly, he had expressed that earlier that there was 50% improvement in his 'blocked nose'.
He had that troublesome backache, but it has gone gradually as earlier but the ointments too might have helped along with Crocin Pain Relief.
He does not seem that sluggish and does not seem to 'drag' himself that much.

I now feel that he now needs at least one more level of improvement. I still have that fear that one day suddenly if his digestion, etc. goes wrong due to something or the other, then he would go back in health almost at the start which I do not want.

Since the past 10 days I do not feel that his improvement has continued as such.

Dr. Sameer please advise. Due to the improvement (since we started your prescription) I am eagerly waiting for your next suggestion/prescription.

I do not know if this has been added earlier.
My father may have been a little fat and short person during his 40s and 50s. But presently in the last 5-7 years he is thin and short person and just underweight, maybe, 54 kg. He is shrinking with age and other factors but not too fast, 'maintained' as others would say.

Dear Sir,
Eagerly waiting for reply.

Dear Dr. Sameer,
There is one addition. My father's left eye has become red since last 2 days. My mother and his office people find it abnormal and expect him to do something.
I did not find it that terrible, just usual sort of....
He has no associated complaint. He does not feel any trouble in the left eye.

I am a bit afraid since this indicates increase of BP in many people. In fact, I have found it that way in me though I have not always gone and measured the BP.

Once again, eagerly waiting for reply with comments on the eye problem.

Hi,

I would recommend waiting for another week.

This is a life long worth of problems, so there are no short cuts to cure.

Sameer

sameervermani last decade
Dear Dr. Sameer,
Thanks first of all for prompt reply.
I understand what you say.

We will wait. I hope my father remains stable like this or even better.

But if there is any sudden change (problem, esp.) then I shall request your early help.

arb_all last decade
Dear Dr. Sameer,
I asked my father to again give feedback today.

He expressed that it was about the same, 40% or so improvement.
But he added that he had sneezing today morning during 'pooja' (worship). He sneezed about 10 times. These days his sneezing had reduced considerably but from today's incident I am afraid there is more probability of his problem returning.

He also added that his digestion problem was still present to a considerable extent and troubling him. He added that therefore he did not eat his afternoon snacks so that he may feel better. By evening (when he was telling me all this), he felt a little appetite so that he could consider eating something at home.

Then we had to go to a party in open garden. Evening was moderately cold. By 9:45 pm when we returned, it had become colder (may be 17 deg celsius). My father felt the food to be spicy and did not seem to enjoy much.

Dear Dr. Sameer,
Is it not the time to do something now? Please advise. Eagerly waiting.

Give him the Calcarea Carb 1M dose this Saturday.

Dissolve 1 drop in 120 ml spring water, stir and give a teaspoon. Nothing enters mouth 1 hr before and after.

Report after 3 weeks please.

sameervermani last decade
Dear Dr. Sameer,
It was so nice of you to reply immediately. You also took into consideration 'wait' of another day or two and asked to give medicine on Sat.

Well, this is Saturday here, 28th Nov. and it is morning 11:42 am. I gave my father Calc. carb. 1M exactly as told.
It was Reckeweg Calc. Carb. 1000 dilution. I put exactly 1 drop in 120 ml and gave one teaspoon to my father. (Nothing 1 hour before and after.)

I wish to recall that this login I should say, is in fact my father's and I write on his behalf.

Thanks very much Dr. Sameer. I hope there would be very good results.

This is Saturday night 11:30 pm.
I had to write this post because while we were watching TV after retiring from activities and after supper at 10 pm, I requested my wife to prepare 1/2 cup tea and my father suddenly uttered that he too wanted 1/2 cup.
He told me that it was just about that his abdomen's heaviness had reduced since the day and he was feeling lighter and thus would prefer to have something.
He clarified that throughout the day he felt all that (usual earlier) pressure and heaviness from lower abdomen to upper (chest) and was troubled a lot.

I did not expect this so soon. I told him 'It is due to the medicine....I gave you a very strong dose of something. So, you will have to bear a little at least...'. He replied back that ' I had to bear a little too much....'.

I was worried a bit that aggravation should not be too troublesome. I told him not to do anything about it. He just added that he neither did anything about it nor he planned to do anything.

During that 60 ml tea, he felt a little hungry perhaps so he ate one 'atta' (wheat) biscuit also.

Dear Dr. Sameer, 1M has immediately produced a reaction. I just wanted to keep you informed. I hope it has a deeper curative action hereafter and better health for my father.

Just in case anything worsens I request you to reply as early as it may be possible for you. Thanks in advance.

arb_all last decade
Dear Dr. Sameer,
The aggravation triggered by Calc. carb. 1M has continued. This is 10:50 pm of Sunday 29th Nov. 09.
My father told me at night that the indigestion/gases/pressure/acidity continued throughout the day like it did yesterday and that there was no appetite, esp. in the morning.
(I recalled to myself how Phos. 30 had once produced a severe lack of appetite to me. It feels terrible.)

Dear Dr. Sameer please let me know if anything has to be done or we are supposed to wait patiently. I do not have an idea when he shall start to feel better. If you tell in your words exactly what we should do, then it will relax me and I shall convince my father also to act accordingly. It will give both of us confidence (to be patient, say...).

Reply awaited eagerly.
