Dear Dr. Sameer,
The aggravation triggered by Calc. carb. 1M has continued. This is 10:50 pm of Sunday 29th Nov. 09.
My father told me at night that the indigestion/gases/pressure/acidity continued throughout the day like it did yesterday and that there was no appetite, esp. in the morning.
(I recalled to myself how Phos. 30 had once produced a severe lack of appetite to me. It feels terrible.)
Dear Dr. Sameer please let me know if anything has to be done or we are supposed to wait patiently. I do not have an idea when he shall start to feel better. If you tell in your words exactly what we should do, then it will relax me and I shall convince my father also to act accordingly. It will give both of us confidence (to be patient, say...).

My father has had those indigestion symptoms every 2-3 days in the past 8 days. He told me yesterday and today that he is specifically troubled for the whole day when on that particular day he has to rush for stools. On my query he replied that he does not have loose stools.
Let us recall that I had stressed about his constipation complaints and urge for stools in the very beginning. After the very first dose of Calc. carb. 30, he felt like he must go to empty bowels.
He has had sneezing too though not excessive.

He says he feels like going to a dentist and getting a 'filling' done in few teeth. He never went to a dentist in his life (as far as I know). In fact, in his childhood, he once got his jaw severely injured and several teeth were shaken and mouth bleeding. But those days were different. For some reason, he did not tell and kept holding his jaw. Later things in the mouth held their position.
His teeth are slightly forward and misaligned but not very noticeable.

I wish to add this point too. My mother needs to go to another city next month. My father's attitude/feeling for going out of station is still a 'NO' type. He is still very apprehensive.
From before you suggested any remedy till date, his aversion/apprehension to go out of station in train/bus has remained the same, not changed at all.

I would wait for atleast 3 weeks from the dose, and there is no point in updating me till that time.

My father has avoided dentist appointment. It is close to 3 weeks after Calc. 1M dose. He took the dose on 28th Nov.
His sneezing increases sometimes. He told me today that sometimes there is problem of gases in stomach. He said that he still does not feel comfortable in the morning during emptying bowels. It is not easy for him. He added that the problem of acidity pops up sometimes. Overall he feels up to 50% improvement.
This update was necessary for me since I would have forgotten what he said.

I wish to add that his dental problem had probably already started even before you started treatment.
Though there does exist this possibility that Calc. had further action on his teeth. But the probability is less as well as the intensity of action might be just too low.
Please advise about dentist appointment too.

Dear Dr. this is for information. My father had (lower) backache again yesterday. He told that he immediately applied 'Volini' cream and that gave him quick relief as expected. I asked him whether the intensity of backache was lesser than earlier. He said 'NO'.

My father has expressed that he does not have complete relief from 'gas' (felt probably as pressure in abdomen), indigestion, etc. He keeps having it.
I asked him, 'What is the difference before we started any medicine and now...? Is there no change in any problem? Or is it that all problems are there but in lower intensity....or whatever...?'
He agreed that problems had reduced in intensity, say, by 40% but all problems continued. He said that what relief he felt after the first dose did not come thereafter. (I think he has been referring to the very first Calc. arb. 30 dose.) The acidity too was there.
He says that the kind of good hunger, a feeling of 'good digestion' and comfortable emptying of bowels that he expects have not yet come to a minimum comfort and says, '...when those would come, things would be alright I guess...'. He is desperate for a high comfort in digestion / stomach / abdomen.
The backache comes sort of periodically, say every 5-6 weeks but still cannot say...

At this age, 40% improvement in a period of 2 months is good progress.
Do not be in a hurry, otherwise you might lose even this 40% improvement.
I will still suggest waiting for 1 more week.

(Apprehension, worry, very chilly - wants to be in front of heater even in slightest winter - wants to be in the sun, very low pulse rate, high blood pressure, thin, tired, irritable.........but not Nux probably as most would say...)

Dr. Sahab I wish to give you special thanks for having taken my father's case and prescribing him even though we do not know about you and we are not able to meet you personally. I am thankful that you have brought this much improvement and hopefully you would bring him more relief from his problems.

I am back in my city.
My father has expressed again that as such things are ok but those indigestion problems sometimes pop up.
He added this important feedback after I came back that he did not feel uneasy one or two times even after having to go for stools with sudden urge and hurry.
Earlier, after starting Calcarea Carb he had reported that when he had to empty bowels in hurry due to such an urge, he would feel uneasy for several hours after that and on that day.
But now he says it did not happen in the past week.
With this status I am sure you would prefer that we wait some more before doing anything else.

Today my father experienced a pulse of pain in his tooth in the morning during tea/biscuits.
Since it is many days after the homeopathic dose, I asked him to take the dentist appointment. He doesn't do things immediately. He may go to the dentist in 3-4 days....or he may not go at all if he feels better.

Dear Dr. Sameer,
My father's dentist was out of station. She came back today so he shall go to dentist tomorrow evening.
But I am posting to inform that today evening he came back with the complaint that he again felt pressure/acidity, etc. after several days.
I have also observed increased sneezing again. It is 75% like earlier.
After he comes back from the dentist kindly re-evaluate and advise.
Thanks in anticipation.

As I expected, my father did not go to the dentist eventually. He told today that there wasn't much problem and presently there wasn't a problem as such.
In fact the dentist is his client so she only came to his office.
So now I asked him how was he. He says he is ok sort of.
Dr. Sameer should we wait? His sneezing is a bit high at times but other problems are less even as the occasional bout of indigestion is there.
Please advise.

I ordered Calc. Carb LM1 and LM2 in 30 ml today from Helios UK.
I have done this the first time. I do not know how long it would take for medicine to reach me.

He said to me, 'Well, this belching and the things of stomach continue dear....but of course you have ordered some medicine so we have to wait till then....I mean...ok....'.
This shows that it would be good to give him one dose of something.
Several days have passed since I ordered but Calc. carb. LM1 and LM2 have not yet reached. I hope I receive the medicines as early as possible.
