Hi,

Please give him 3 doses of LACHESIS 30c, and report after 10 days.

Sameerji,
Was there a post by mistake that has been removed?
I had purchased Lachesis 30c on that basis.
But luckily I have not given till now because my father was better in the next two days. Both of us decided on our own not to go for Lachesis yet.

Sameerji, please clarify.

Oh! so now I see it when page 6 has been added!
[Moderator requested to check.]

Sameerji kindly confirm once more if my father should take Lachesis 30c. (Prev. post)

One important symptom. He is inclined to eat ice-cream, esp. at night. Previous years I used to feel he is craving like Phosphorus for ice-cream. But I do not know if ice-cream disordered his stomach. Even he may not be sure.

Go ahead.

wait, wait, I didnt see your previous post, if he is better, just keep on waiting, do NOT give Lachesis yet.

Yes that's the thing. After lot of trouble on one day, my father felt much better the next two days and also yesterday.

I am doing nothing yet.

Just after I wrote previous post, there's a problem so early at 7:30 am.

There is swelling on my father's lips. He was complaining of dry lips since 2 days due to summer. He applied 'Kailas Jevan' ointment and I allowed it.

My mother has got very disappointed/annoyed/sad.

See this is the trouble.

The upper lip is slightly more swollen. One feels that on pressing them, he will feel sore.

Sameerji I request immediate help.

arb_all last decade
Selling of lips is no reason to change plans.

Please update after 1 week.

Thanks for quick reply but while I was leaving for office, my father said that he got awake at 3 am.
My mother says,'He went to another room to sleep at 4 am and was restless and then he had the usual sneezing also...Don't know what's going...'

Apologize for repeated posts. I have to post as I get information.

I feel compelled to sum up present set of symptoms:
1. Sneezing in morning though reduced than earlier. Sudden sneezing, may be in the evening.
2. Gases, pressure in abdomen, cramps in lower abdomen, pressure in chest, belching to relieve pressure, also some acidity. These things reduced but continue with occasional severe event in 7-8 days.
3. Dryness of lips followed by swelling today.
4. Got awake at 3 am yesterday even after continuing Antax 0.25 mg.
5. If we say, 'You should not have put that (paper) there' or any such thing, he immediately gets sad and slightly angered ('dukhee, khinna'). Keeps quiet, keeps problem within himeself, does not come out, doesn't react. He has always been like that. (This is a bit due to my mother's fear too...)
6. Does not answer any question straight. When we ask, 'So, is it ok to take meal by 8 pm then?' He doesn't say, 'Yes, maybe 8 or 8:15' OR 'Yes, ok'. Instead he says, 'Maine kab manaa kiyaa?' ('When did I say no?') as if anybody was questioning him. Always anxious if he his reply might be taken wrongly.
7. When talking to others and when discussions are not too specific, he deviates from the main reply. suppose one says, 'Will come to the site...?' He will not directly answer. He will say something else and not a specific answer.

I hope I was brief. Otherwise I apologize and please take it to be 'my' symptom.
Anyway my claim is that if we start feeling well, there is no compeeling feeling for me to write so much.

Sorry I must complete. One more.

8. He likes ice-cream. Inclined to eat ice-creams. I think he gets a 'soothing' feeling by eating it.
(2-3 summers back, I too had this. I used to have uncontrollable feeling to eat something cool in summer, ice-cream, butter milk... My father's may be similar....may be not...)

Hit LM2 bottle hard 8 times, wait 2 mins then dissolve 4 drops in 250 ml and give 1 spoon.

Report after 1 week.

Hello Sameer ji.
Nothing new to report. It is 8 days now.
I was dropping him at his office at 1 pm. He himself told this-
1. There is problem of gases.
2. Yesterday I did not eat much before going to restaurant but even then I was not hungry. I ate there without hunger.
3. After eating stomach easily becomes full.
4. Vertigo is of course there, esp. in the evening....

I also see that after about 4-5 days of LM2 (or LM1 earlier) dose his sneezing starts returning.

I too have taken 0/5 earlier for long. My experience is that if we keep repeating the dose early enough things are in control otherwise problems return.

I have feeling, his LM2 dose must be repeated quickly. This should be tried 2-3 times. Then it may be clear what to do next.
(But he may need something else also. He is again appearing like a 'Lyco' now. Fullness of stomach and other things.)

Just one info. (I might already have told.)
He always tends to need somebody at hand. He wants servants / people to serve around.
'Would you just dial the phone?' (It would be near.)
'Would you bring the diary and find this number? (It is in front of him.)
'Would you bring incense sticks?'
'Would you bring that?'
He is reluctant to move and do the thing. Wants assistance .
This is his inherent nature not acquired.

Dr. Sameer kindly advise.

As I said I was too tired, too much caught up in insignificant works in office so I did not write about my father.
There was internet problem also for 3-4 days.

It is 2 weeks since 2nd dose of Calc. LM2. There is nothing new to report. On one hand he has had same (set of) complaints. On the other, he hasn't complained much. He has been relatively well.
Once or twice he had back pain and found it very difficult to get up from seat.

Since the complaints always exist in some intensity every 2-3 days and he seems to be better by the Calc. dose, I have a feeling that I should give one dose of LM2 again.

Sameer ji, kindly advise.

Dr. Sameer,
Kindly reply. My father is sneezing more now.

Give a dose of Calcarea LM2.

Hit LM2 bottle hard 8 times, wait 2 mins then dissolve 4 drops in 250 ml and give 1 spoon.

Report after 1 week.

My father has the usual relapse after 1 week. Sneezing has started.
Improvement or maintained effect is over.
But I observe that with repeated LM1 and LM2 doses, his digestion problem has reduced in intensity.
If nothing is given he will deteriorate further as usual.

Dr Sameer, should I wait a day or two and give him another dose of LM2 when I feel appropriate?

It is clear that his symptom set is fixed. So you may not see another remedy. But kindly consider other remedies just in case he is not recovering enough.

My father had added later that he 'was' having some problem of the usual abdominal heaviness, etc. He did not comment earlier since my mother was present there.

Yes he has started his usual 'sniffing' too,...frequently. He catches a bit of cold isn't it...with sneezing...

Sameerji your advice is awaited.

Do you have LM3 with you ?

sameervermani last decade
No Sir I do not have LM3.
But I feel that it is a good idea to go for LM3. Looking at the whole situation that is what it looks.

Should I order Calcarea Carb LM3?
Can I give him another dose or two of LM2 till LM3 is received?

I haven't ordered Lach LMs yet. Still running around...

It would be better to combine order if you want me to order LM3 (and even LM4).

arb_all last decade
Dear Sir,
Kindly read my previous post and reply.

arb_all last decade
order calc lm3 and lm4, also lachesis lm1 and lm2

As I had mentioned, medicines have not come yet.

My father has gases and belching now. He makes very strange sound while expelling gas from the mouth, as if a gas trapped in large abdominal cavity had been suddenly released. The sound is funny as well as irritating. Hard to describe here.

Sneezing too is more or less increasing.

But I think we can wait a little more.

Cases of parents are not like mine. They do not have immediate events to attend to. We can make them wait a little for long term benefit.

For me if things come a little too late, (and many of them have come late in recent years) then the utility of high degree of health is reduced much. What will one do with dense black hair after a certain age?

I have updated about my father. It had been more than 15 days since he took last dose (LM2).
In the last 4 days not only has his trouble of gases increased but so also his backache. Since four days I am seeing that he has problem in getting up from seat and sitting down. I think his back is really aching and stiff.

Should I give a dose of LM2 again?
