I asked him today evening, 'What chagnes do you find after last medicine?'
He replied-
'I had great trouble of gas acidity today. It was terrible...'
I again asked, 'But what changes do you feel...?'
He relied, 'Kuchh khaas nahi...' (Nothing really). He added that troubles are the same.
Sameer Sir, some key points have again flashed through my mind to make a short summary about him. I think this might help:
1. Earlier in childhood he did not eat much balanced food, I guess. When available he would eat lots of sweet item(s).
2. He is short and stout. But not very fat. (Presently of course too reduced.)
3. He is inclined to talk to servants. Like most men, wants to talk to and impress women.
4. Dislikes arguments, doesn't like opposition.
5. His basic nature is to talk very less and sort of quiet. By age he has changed (a normal thing).
6. Yes, it still looks his sneezing and 'allergy' problem started when during peak business, he went with clients and in trying to enjoy, he was exposed to air-conditioners about 20 years back whereas he didn't even have a fan in childhood.
7. His high BP and heart problem is hereditary. (Late) Father had it and his (late) elder brother too.
8. He has liked to make successful business friends, follow their lifestyle like club, sports, etc. He himself actually couldn't do it. He was from opposite background, traditional. So he was shy, not so open. But he tried to put us into this.
9. During 40 years, he was totally carefree type of person, eating drinking anything. (He likes cleanliness.) But no rules. Drink water after banana or any such thing, he didn't care at all. This was also connected to his nature of not being able to say 'NO'.
10. After his heart problems he became opposite. He will talk of eating jaggery after banana or not washing hands after eating 'Sitaphal' and biscuit during tea and such concerns.
11. What are the present problems? They are already there in posts. Severe gas, acidity, uneasiness, pressure in abdomen, vertigo.

I hope this was not annoying. If so I apologize. My concern is only for father. Please forgive.

In point no 9 add - Always trying to please others by whatever means. Agreeing with others thoughtlessly. Cheerful with outsiders. Silent with family members.
Last few years he talks more but then he is not specific. Drifts from the main point or talks opposite of what it should be. If I force and be specific, he still tries to divert and gets angry.

Just one or two last things (since I am in flow and I feel this will help)-
~His short term memory is not good. Especially he cannot recall names. His long term memory is good.
~Even when atmosphere is relaxed, he is attentive and you say, 'Tomorrow there is event A..' And he will immediately confirm with lack of confidence, 'There is event A...tomorrow evening, no?' The manner is annoying to others. If we say, 'That is what we said just now...', he will be annoyed and say, 'What is the problem if I confirm?' But he always does this.

I gave Thuja 30, 3 doses on Friday evening (13th Aug.) between 6:30 to 7:30.

Today I saw that my father was quite uncomfortable. He had 'dakaar' as usual. But in evening he sat on the mat with great difficulty. Later he was uncomfortable with sitting on chair too. Finally while sleeping he took a bed sheet below his lower back. It is very painful to see.
I shall ask him to take pain relievers (and antacids) for 2 days if needed.

It was not exactly an update. I recorded the time of dose after 2 days and just then my father was in trouble so I mentioned.
Inconvenience caused is regretted.

This is feedback after about 11 days.
1. My father has had that lower back ache in 4-5 days. The main trouble is in getting up from a seat. He took Crocin Pain Relief and applied external ointment to control the pain and stiffness.
2. Yesterday when I asked about how was he, he said, 'Today I am surprisingly better with respect to digestion. But today only and slightly.'
3. 'How do you feel?' 'Mentally as such I have no problem....it is only this...(back-pain)' Actually he agai watned to add that he felt better when digestion was ok (and no pain, say, back-pain was there).
4. His sneezing has increased and has sort of come back.
5. A day before he had said that 'Bhook as such abhi bhee lagatee nahi hai...'

Sameer Sir, I am inclined to immediately give Thuja 200. Kindly reply.

After office at 6 pm, my father himself told me (without asking) that his stomach was also aching.
I said, 'That you had earlier too.....(2 years back)'.
He said, 'Yes, my stomach is aching similarly now.'

Actually as I have already written, that is how present set of problems started in 2007 after his bypass surgery. After 3-4 months, he had regular abdominal ache and other things like gas, pressure, vertigo, etc. So we went to cardiac surgeon. He said it was stomach problem and gave medicines. Later it continued. So gastroenterologist checked thoroughly and got blood tests done and sonography. Sonography revealed more than a centimeter of kidney stone. Blood test showed very low B12.
So the doctor said, 'That's it. Take B12 and go to Urologist.'

We went to homeopath instead. I have mentioned about it.

It is 1 week but more so, my father has more trouble.
1. I asked him today and he replied, 'Problems are the same...I have gases and indigestion. Like a ball rises upwards in the stomach (abdominal region) and then I have problem for two hours.'
[ I again start to feel all his problems are due to big kidney stone. This is the only thing that has not been treated at all and totally neglected. Homeopathically yes perhaps.....]
2. 'And what about back pain?' 'It is somewhat less.'

3. I don't know why but he started sneezing a lot. In most cities in India there have been weather fluctuations. Here also the same. But why he was sneezing so much in evening today, I don't know. I asked him. He too cannot point to any specific thing.
Yes, he has become increasingly stressful due to his uncomfortable conditions plus interactions with family members (where we will discuss and argue while he is is actually not feeling well from inside). (My mother will strongly question of some business payment, etc.)
4. By 9 pm, he started to have lot of dry cough. 'Sookhi khaansee'. Reason unknown.

This is 11:25 pm here and my father has had quite a bad evening.

Sameer Sir, please suggest a remedy at the earliest to stop his suffering.

I gave my father Sulphur 30 on Fri, 3rd Sept. Not too sure of Thu. or Fri. but it is more than 8 days.
I haven't been able to post as you can see.
Today I took feedback.
He said he had 50% relief. I reminded him that from the very beginning he had had 50% relief at some stage. Was this not going back to zero and again feeling better or was it an added relief?
He expressed, '...no recently I had gone back to my earlier state. Overall relief had reached back to 10%. In the last week I have 50% relief now....'

Sir, I am in a hurry to give him Sulphur 200. We all have a tendency to go back to illness very quickly...., then it gets tough on me...
Please advise what to do Sameer Sir.

I feel Sulphur has partial similimum with almost every person. 200c is also a soothing potency. And then Sulphur is a 'connecting' medicine.
In all cases, I feel that Sulphur 200 shall help my father.

BUT I am not too sure if it is the 'correct' or 'complete' similimum so that it will go higher up to 1M and/or LMs.

It was very kind of you to respond for my mother. That was important.
Please suggest next step for my father too. Today we went to relatives for lunch.
My father ate properly only nothing excess. But it may affect him a bit. And then it is almost 10 days after Sulphur 30 and it has clearly helped him.
So it would be good to do something that helps him.
Actually I am not sure if you have read here, so posting again.

He is still ok as I know. I will wait. I will update you in 1-3 days.

Finally my father complained of some stomach ache yesterday and had been sneezing more in last 2-3 days.
I have given him Sulphur 200c today morning (Sun., 19 Sept. 2010) at 6:50 am.
Two drops in ~ 250 ml water. Stirred and one spoon from there.

Today in evening after meals my father suddenly came back after a short walk and put the fan on full.
My mother asked why he felt hot. He said, 'Just a bit of discomfort'. He was sitting on bed bent forward. I too was there.
He then said that he was having gases. My mother got concerned and she too got anxious and uneasy. She said she started to sweat and needed fan.
Soon my father started farting and burping with loud sounds. He had already been farting. On asking he told that he ate 'daal-bati' in afternoon. We felt that even if he ate less, it must have been heavy on digestion.
After 10-15 minutes, burping continued. He had already taken Gelusil and I gave him another tablet.
His burping was as if the trapped gas got expelled with much louder sound.
Then he saw the usual TV show lying down.
This is about 1 1/2 hour now.
He is better but lying down and getting up.

My mother has got upset and worried. She is very anxious.
She too went into kitchen. I found that she too took a tablet of Gelusil.

I am full of office work that I saw never before.

Dear Sameer, please suggest/advise what to do.
I feel really fed up. It is so difficult handle father's and mother's heatlh troubles while I myself find it hard to sustain.
