Need urgent help please, boy 4 years old, provided all details. Page 2 of 4

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Doctor, i wanted to update you about this case. My son went to sleep yesterday, he still had fever, but not as high as during the day. He was waking up very often, which we have not had since he turned 2 years old, he was coming out of the room and saying that he is scared. In the morning he had no fever, he enjoyed the bath, which he refused yesterday. He still does not feel like eating, he will eat 5 spoons and says he does not want any more and that his stomach hurts. He developed gases yesterday, not so much today. He is very cranky, he acts out and thinks it is a tragedy if his brother takes one toy, he starts yelling very loud.

I forgot to mention that I did not use any fever reducers for him the fever went done by itself.

Lexus last decade
That is good that the fever was allowed to run it course.

Is his crankiness more than normal?

Doctor, I think this sickness was a virus, because my youngest son is sick now with fever. My oldest son is not as cranky anymore, he still bites his finger nails though. Yesterday during the day he did not want to sleep, and when he finally fell asleep he slept a very long time, which is not usual for him. He wets the bed though during day and night sleeps. And he let me read him a book yesterday night, he did not want any books while he was sick. He still does not want to eat much, says his stomach hurts. I fed him a plate of porridge in the morning though, because he went to daycare, he will be starving whole day there refusing to eat

Doctor, I wanted to update you about this case. My son is still very cranky and his behavior is out of control, yesterday I came to pick him up from daycare, and he started running away from me in circles, and then he lay down of the floor and told me to go away, and he will stay in the daycare. It looks like his speech got worse too, because I am asking him a question and he can not answer it, or he does not want to answer. I was asking him what they did in daycare, and all he was saying was- fishing rod, fishing rod (he was playing with fishing rod before I came to pick him up) He is cranky and yelling all the time. Everything is a drama for him.He yells and whines and cries. He wet the bed last night.

Ok this isn't sounding very promising.

Have there been any positive changes at all?

I will take a look today if he is still biting his nails, as I did not pay attention to this yesterday, but his general behavior seems worse than it was before. My husband was asking him questions, and he did not reply, he was running in circle around the room and was saying how fast he is, he seemed not to be able to stop. My husband said- 'see, he has ADHD, I told you, he can not stop and listen, he has to run', so it was more obvious yesterday. It might be that he was tired, he did not sleep in daycare, and he just started going there, it is his 2 week in daycare, so he is not used to it yet. Can it be that the treatment is still in aggravation phase, and it will start improving?

Lexus last decade
It is possibly still an aggravation, as we are only at 7 days since the dose. Usually improvement can be seen at 7-14 days. Are you happy to wait a little longer?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Yes, doctor, I do not mind waiting at all, I am in no rush, I just want him to be healthy and happy in the end, he has a long time before going to school. Thank you

Lexus last decade
I don't want him to suffer, or imply at this stage that I am 100% sure of the remedy. However I also want to be careful not to jump to a new remedy too soon. If it is an aggravation of his normal behavior, it could still be working to change it.

Just give me daily reports.

I agree with you, lets observe and see what is going on with him. I will update you. Thank you

Doctor, I will update you about my son's health. He is still biting his nails, perhaps not as often as before but I have seen 4 times yesterday that he was and 1 today. He does that when he is nervous, when I do not let him do something he wants. He wet the bed last night as well. He is still very loud and yelling, for example he wants me to put his shoes on him, I say- do it yourself, you can do it, he yells that they are broken and screams, until I guide him and help him put them on. Or he wants to take his shirt of because he says it is a little wet and he can not do it, he wants me to take it off, I tell him- do it yourself and tell him the sequence of action, and he screams. But in general his condition improved compared to yesterday, the day before yesterday he was running in circles and could not stop and was neglecting questions, yesterday he was giving me hugs and kisses and responding to my questions a little, today he is lovable and responding to my questions. So the deterioration of his symptoms after he was given the medication is over, now he is at the point where he was before I gave him tuberculinum. I forgot to mention that he started coughing, he has a bad barking cough, he started couging yesterday morning, and today again. His cough is bad in the morning, it is not so bad and rare during the day and night.

Ok it does appear that the aggravation is beginning to diminish, and there may be improvements starting. Continue watching him and reporting each day, hopefully the improvement will get better as each day passes.

I wanted to mention, that I have noticed that his head is very sweaty when he woke up after day nap, his forehead and hair just over the temples and the back of head close to neck. His head was sweating before as well. When he wakes up after day nap, he is not cranky at all. He is not a mean child, he is loud, but pretty affectionate and loving, when he gets angry, he might throw stuff, today his brother took his toy, and my oldest son was sitting in chair, writing letters, when he saw that his brother took the toy, he yelled- no, and then growled and then threw the pencil at his little brother. The problem is that he can not regulate his emotions, and he wants all toys. I hope this helps to understand the picture.

Yes, doctor, I will watch him and update you about the results. I will know more today about his attention span, because I am taking him to soccer practice. Previous two times I was crying in the car when I was driving him home because he was paying no attention at all and wanted all different balls. He does not want his ball that I bought him, he is trying to get another ball, and then he sees a different ball that he wants, so he runs from one ball to another and he ends up without a ball, someone takes his ball away and kids take the balls, that he liked while he is running from one ball to another, and then they run away, kicking the balls, and he yells and lays down on the ground. This is frustrating for me to watch.

I have observed him today at soccer practice and he behaved better than before, he got the ball that he wanted and was kicking it, he was running when he was told to run, in the line he actually was waiting for his turn, instead of running ahead to kick the ball, and then he got distracted and kicked the ball in another gate, which is fine. But I am worried that he complains of being tired all the time. He wakes up tired, he eats and says he needs to go to the coach, he ran with the ball twice today and complained after that he is tired and wanted me to carry him. So it looks like his energy is really low. He is still biting his fingers. I promised him to let him play in the dry dirt after the practice because he was good, and while he was playing I saw that he acted weird, and asked him if he wanted to go to bathroom, it was too late, he peed in his pants. And today I let him go outside to play and I had to change his pants 2 times, he peed his pants instead of running home to go to bathroom. This is aggravation symptom, he did not pee during wake hours in his pants. When I took him to the store, he was asking for cake, which is weird, because he does not eat cake. Well, he can ask, I just do not think he would eat it if I bought it. He was asking for toys, but I told him that his b-day is soon and he will get all toys he wants then, he yelled but not much.

Still some changes happening, still improvements to be made it seems. Behaviour appears to have been definitely improved. We will need to keep an eye on that lack of energy, which is one of the reasons I gave Tuberculinum.

Doctor, I wanted to update you today. We went to track and field practice today and my son was behaving very bad, he was not running as he is supposed to, he runs very slow to the fence, and the other kids turn around and run back as they are supposed to, he instead stands at the fence, then the coach yells 20 times his name and he starts walking back. All the kids were practicing jumping, and he was sitting in the grass. His attention span is very bad. I am reading him and showing pictures- plants grow out of seeds, this is sunflower seed and this is sunflower, this is watermelon seed and watermelon, etc.. What do plants grow out of?? His answer is uhh, water? I do not know.So he is not paying attention. He is still biting his nails when he is upset or stressed out. He found a piece of paper on the floor today and studying chewing it right after he ate, y husband, his father told him to spit it out, so he made him spit it out. But this is the second time I have noticed him chewing paper, first time it was piece of book. I wonder if that is significant.I am really worried and stressed out because of my son's behavior. It makes me cry that all kids are participating and coach is teaching them, and he is sitting and looking the other way and coach does no even pay attention to him.

Ok again improvements seem not very stable. Let me look over the case again.

He has only chewed paper the twice?

How is he with animals?

Does he talk about his dreams?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
He is good with animals, he likes to look at dogs and cats, but he will not run to dogs unless his little brother runs. SO he does not care so much about animals. He likes o go to pet store and look at animals though. He does not talk about his dreams. Yes, he has chewed paper only these 2 times, he chewed paper when he was an infant, he was biting books, but since he stared understanding what books are for, he likes to listen to books, and one time I saw him bite of cardboard cover and eat it, and today he found a piece of newspaper and started chewing it until his dad made him spit it out. I thought it was weird. He craves meat, he was asking me for potatoes recently too. He loves green salad leaves. He sleeps without a blanket, and if I cover him with a blanket, he takes it off. He does not like everything hot. Like when I make a bath, my little son wants to seat, and he does not want to sit in the water, because he says it is too warm, so I add cold water and he sits there then. He loves to swim in the swimming pool. He has always been a climber and even now he climbs the furniture. He loves mirrors, he gets very attracted by them, when we are at gymnastics practice, he runs away from me to the mirror and makes faces there. His mimics is very rich, he makes faces at me all the time. I have notices something that concerns me, he twinks with his both eyes like an owl, he does not do that very often. But when he does it is like a nervous tick. He drinks water only, no juice and no milk, no tea. Water of room temperature or coldish or warmish, bu slightly warm. He wets bed closer to morning, like yesterday he went to sleep at 8 pm, I checked his diaper at 1 am, it was still dry. He never fights, and if someone takes his toy away, he cries but does not try to take it back, he is loud, but not very active. He tries to trade toys instead of using force. He can rarely hit his brother, when his brother hits him first. So in general he is a very kind and affectionate little boy. He understands concepts, he learned to read at the age of 3.5, he seems not very attentive though. He loves to play with puzzles, he can sit for a long time putting puzzle together. He enjoys to be outside, he likes the sun, he says- mama, lets go outside, the sun is up.
I hope this helps you

He wants watermelon recently, he has already eaten 3 watermelons during the last 2 weeks, he even wanted watermelon during his sickness, when he refused to eat anything.
His speech is not great for a 4 year old boy, he is confused in questions- like why and what. He answers some questions, but he does not understand or does not have enough words to express his thoughts, so it is hard to talk to him. My little son is 2 years younger, he is only 2 and when he watches cartoon and they ask questions, he answers them right, but my oldest son does not answer at all or says wrong. So speech is definitely an issue.

Doctor, did you have time to look at our case again?
I wanted to update you. Today my son went to swimming pool with his father, and he refused to swim, he said that he was scared of water, which is very weird for him. Another weird thing that I have noticed is that he started running away from us, it is getting out of control, he did that when he was 1 year old and 18 months old. Today I was telling him good bye at the hospital, where I was taking a class, and he ran away, usually I would yell for him to come back and he will run back, he did not run back to me today, I had to chase him and catch him. My husband took him to gymnastics, after class he ran away and ran from building to parking lot, and did not react to yelling, my husband got scared and when he finally caught him, he lectured him and spanked him in the car, because he was so scared that my son will get hit by the car. When they came to pick me up at the hospital, I hugged and kissed my son, he ran away again and ran almost to the road, I thought I would have a heart attack there. Luckily I caught him before and lectured him. He knows how dangerous cars are. Please advise.

Another thing that I have noticed is that he sleeps much better during day, for two days after tuberculinum he slept really long. One time was couple days ago, he fell asleep at 5 pm in the car and I took him to bedroom and he woke up at 12 am, and then I took him back to sleep and he fell asleep. And today again he fell asleep at 5 and it is 8 18, the tv is on, we are talking, light is on, and he is sleeping. Please reply, what do you think. Thank you

I have been looking over the case again. There are a lot of similarities in this case to many of my Saccharum cases.

I would like you to get hold of the remedy Saccharum officinale in the 200th potency.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
OK doctor, I will buy it. Is it in granules?

Lexus last decade
Anyway you can get it is good.

Doctor, I will try to find this medicine tonight, because I saw that it is not available on ABC. I have not found it yet, because both my kids are sick, my oldest one has bad cough, and runny nose and fever, and my little one has very high fever. This has been going on since thursday. Can you please advise me a medicine that I can give them to support their immune system, because they have been sick 4 times for the last month and a half. Thank you
