cystic acne help
I have suffered from random bouts of nodular or cystic acne for the past 4-5 years. About the time I turned twenty.I get them intermitantly and I'm trying to diagnose the cause to better seek treatment.
I've always been skinny, 6'2 at 165lbs. I've had spots on my forearms for years that I had tried to associate with bad circulation without cause. They look like white spots in my otherwise pink skin.
My acne appears mostly on my fore head and temples (once near my upper cheek. I have regular acne (non-cystic) on my nose. My skin is very white and slightly red on the cheeks (I don't believe rosacea, not that red. The skin on my nose seems oily but its actually dry and flaky. I use sensitive skin face wash to be safe.
I have recently begun working out 4 day a week for an hour and had a breakout on my forehead. But I also stopped eating meat about 6 weeks ago. I have bouts of hyper tension/high blood pressure and I've noticed my skin isn't healing from cuts and scapes as well as it used to. I take a multivitamin and eat healthy. Also I think my hair might be receding on each side. I'm a dam mess. I sleep well, not to stressed and take good care of myself wtf.
Luckily my cystic acne is intermitent, but I want to get to the root cause. This is as much information as I could think to include. Good luck detectives.
