sameer, is it necessary that i should give her sepia in pellets form? i don't know whether it will be available in our local pharmacies in pellets form. has the pellet got any size specification? can i make a dose by adding two or three drops in to 10ML water? usually that's how i give homeo medicines.
should the water be boiled or unboiled?
earlier i used only one drop to make a single dose. one practising homeopath recently told me that in the modern context of our polluted living condition and contaminated body, one drop will not do; two or three are required. what is your opinion?

Liquid form is ok too.
Add 2 drops of Sepia 30C to a 500 ml mineral water bottle.
Then 1 spoon from there is 1 dose.
Give 3 doses in one day. After that no more doses.
Preserve the bottle for future use.
This is the gentlest way of curing.

what have you meant by mineral water? mineral water available in our area is bottled mineral water having the presence of chemicals used as preservatives.
is unboiled wellwater okay?
if the medicated 500ML water is kept for several days for future use, will it not become musty?

Bottled mineral water is a sealed/packed bottle of water available. It does not have chemicals. Atleast, I have never seen preservatives in water bottles.
You can instead use 500 ml filtered tap water as well in a clean bottle.

i am a software engineer and desperately searching a homeopathy remedy for hypothyroidism for my mother age 58 yrs, who is taking English (Allopathic) medicine for the thyroid...
( I belive its called Eltroxin... I am not sure about the name of the drug)
I have found an interesting webpage that says that homeopathy has cure for hypothyroidism.
'......In hypothyroidism Baryta carb., Calc. carb. and iodatum and Med. shine. Some of our physicians prescribe Thyreoidinum in potency. I have had little experience with it except in slowing the heart. Fucus is very popular among the German homopaths and Lycopus is to be considered. Sometimes in low thyroid conditions Sulphur will start the ball rolling.'
My request to all you is kindly give your kind guidance in this regards.

i gave her sepia 30 exactly in accordance with your instructions on 14th february. but after four days now, no change is seen in her condition. what should i do next? is there any marked difference in medicines of different companies? i gave her an indian medicine.
i hope you didn't mean 50ML water. anyway , i used 500ML water.

I have been having problems for many years, since after I had my first child and it has extended and grown worse since after having my third child. I think my symptoms sound like hypothyroidism, but I have not been tested for it yet. I am going into the doctor later this month for the test, but wanted to get some advice first. Frankly, I have never used homeopathics, but I am tired of going to the doctor and the psychiatrist and trying to work my way through the HMO system. I am also tired of taking daily medications that I feel like are not working and that I have been told I will have to take for the rest of my life.
For years I have had absolutely no libido. I was on prozac for post pregnancy depression but my doctor took me off of it and my sex drive has never returned (it has been 4 months and my doctor said it should have returned after only a few weeks). I have been depressed for quite some time and although the medications my doctor has prescribed have helped some, I still don't feel my pre-pregnancy happy self. I get mad very easily, I yell a lot and although I know when I'm doing it, I can't control myself. Everything and everyone seems to irritate me. I am overweight and can't seem to loose weight. I worked out 5 days a week for 2 hours a day for 4 months straight and lost only 2 pounds even though I dropped down to 1500 calories a day (under the supervision of a weight trainer who cant seem to explain why I cant loose weight and no, I did not cheat on eating). I am tired all the time (even when I was exercising), completely worn out, I even totaled my car last year because I fell asleep while driving. Yet, when I go to bed, I can't cut my mind off and can't sleep. It is so hard to get out of bed and I often miss work and avoid other people. I prefer to stay home and not socialize; I don't have friends anymore and frankly don't want any. My husband says I hate him and my kids. I cry a lot, usually with no reason and very suddenly. I am always cold and I have very dry skin. I don't have the constipation or hair loss I have seen listed as a sign of this disease, but my menstruation has recently become very abnormal (which it never was before and I am only 33, so I think I am too young to be starting menopause.) It is very heavy and sometimes I go 2 months without it and then only 2 weeks in between. I have also experienced memory loss. I do not have the muscle cramps or aches except in my back, but I do have degenerative disc disease, so that is expected and does not seem to be part of this problem.
If anyone knows what type of homeopathics I could take for these problems, please let me know. I will try anything to get back to the person I was years ago.

Surely there is a solution through homeopathy and the good thing is, you don't have to take the medicines all your life. Just a few doses of the right remedy are enough to achieve a permanent cure.
Your case is extremely clear and the remedy indicated is
Sepia.
You have to take just 3 doses of Sepia 30C at 1 hour intervals , and no more doses after that.
Dissolve 2 pellets (or 2 drops if you buy liquid) of Sepia 30C in a 500 ml bottle of spring water. If you leave 2 pellets in the bottle for about 20 mins , they will dossolve by themselves. Then, turn the bottle upside down gently a few times for them to shake.
One teaspoon from this bottle using a disposable spoon in 1 dose. No eating or brushing of teeth for 1 hour on either side of this dose.
After these 3 doses, just wait and watch yourself closely for 5 days and then report back your status here. Do no throw the bottle , till I tell you to.

as you instructed i gave my wife lyco 1M on 23 february night. three days later a slight change [around 25 per cent decrease] was seen in her hip pain and a slight kind of itching she felt around her hip area and below her knee. but after that no further improvement is seen in her hip pain. not only that, her other symptoms such as tiredness, sleepiness, hairfall etc remain unchanged. what should i do next?

Let us wait for 1 more week as there was some improvement. Lycopodium 1M is a very slow and deep acting medicine, and I think it might be too soon to judge the response yet.

dear sameer, i waited for two more weeks. but lyco has produced no further results in her. no change in her behaviour is seen. what should i do next? can i think of sulphur at this stage?

sameer, five or six days back i gave her hepar sulph 30 when she had a cold which started with an irritation in the throat. now it is almost cured except that there is i bit of phlegm in her chest which she is able to hawk up easily. she used Hepar Sulph for three or four days three times daily. is there anything wrong in giving her sulphur afterhepar sulph?

Hmm.. if you are seeing improvement are not sure it is because of Sulphur , it would be best to wait longer before taking any other medicine.
And, regarding repeating Sepia 30 for 2 weeks , we never apply remedies like that as these are energy medicines where it is not the medicine which cures. It is the response of your body to the medicine which cures.
So, best would be to wait for another 2 weeks, and then post back her symptoms here, and we will take it from there.

i come across a number of homeopaths who give homeo remedies for two weeks, one month or even for years, of course not to treat acute diseases; and i myself have wondered at the long duration required for homeopathic cure of a disease.
could you explain this for me? is this classical homeopathic method or mere money making method?
i think it would be more fruitful if more than one member could respond to this doubt of mine.
