Hi Sameer. Unfortunately I did not manage to make it to the dispensary for the hep sulph 30c. It turned into another crazy hectic week for us. Really sorry. I hope this is not going to be a problem for my treatment.

My symptoms gradually improved throughout the whole week. I still have minor nasal congestion, and a bit of wet coughing in the morning, after I get up, but that's it. Otherwise I feel normal and well.

I have the lachesis LM doses from Helios. Please let me know what you think I should do next. Thanks heaps for your continuing help.

First dose of Lachesis LM1, dissolve 3 drops in 250 ml spring water, and take a teaspoon from there.

Report in 4-5 days.

Hi Sameer,

Thanks for that. I just wanted to let you know I will be taking my first dose of Lach LM1 on Thursday. I really wanted to wait as I am currently in the throws of my last week of study and I really wanted to finish that first. I'll report 5 days after Thursday.

I still haven't taken the LM. Don't worry, I fully intend to, and I am looking forward to the positive effects. I have put it off because it had such a massive effect on me last time, I have been a bit scared to take it while I have so much going on in my life. Should be able to take it this week though, everything is calming down now and I feel ready to deal with whatever the LM should throw at me.

Hi Sameer. I know it has been ages, and you have probably given up on me, but I finally took the LM1 lachesis about 2 weeks ago.

Since then I have been quite irritable (not all the time). For about a week following the dose I was experiencing an upset queasy tummy quite a lot, especially a gnawing feeling as if I was hungry, but I wasn't hungry and it didn't go away after I ate. My bowel movements have been a little more disturbed than usual. I have had some pimples here and there, which went away quickly. I also got my last menses a bit early, after taking the LM1 dose. It was a bit heavier and more uncomfortable than usual, but over more quickly than usual. And that's about it.

Hmm.. take another dose, but reduced dose:

1)Hit the LM1 bottle hard 8 times
2)Wait for 2 minutes
3)Take out 1 drop from the LM1 bottle in 250 ml spring water, stir with a spoon and take a spoon from there.

Update in 72 hours.

Hi Sameer, my apologies, I was going to wait an extra 2 days since I realised after looking at my calendar that it was not quite 2 weeks since I had taken the dose, as reported in my post.

But then I got a virus, and so I held off for a couple of days, thinking it was minor and would pass.

Except it turned out to not be minor at all, but I have seriously had NO time until now to post to you. It's been an insanely busy week which I had to suffer with a really, really bad cough, which has kept me up throughout the nights and had me coughing all day long as well.

I think I caught this from my son since he had a cough not so long ago, and my husband also had one recently too.

I know that I should have gotten in contact when it was at it's peak but I just couldn't. It is now subsiding, but still very unpleasant.

There are no other symptoms. It started with a burning sensation in my upper chest last Thursday night (8 days ago), and had turned into a dry, violent, hacking cough by Sunday. I have hardly slept since Sunday night because I am having uncontrollable coughing fits spordadically through the night. The cough began to loosen yesterday (after 3 days of coughing) and sounds rattly at times now, but is still very violent and almost brings me to the point of throwing up at times. It feels like someone stuck a split peppercorn down my throat - it is very sudden and impossible to stop. I have sore muscles all over from coughing.

It is similar to other coughs I have had in the past, so I suspect that whatever the virus is it just went straight to my weakest point.

Laughing, and talking loudly makes it worse. Lying down makes it worse, but not immediately - soon after shifting position I think. It worsens as the day goes on, and feels very wet and loose in the morning. Drinking water and eating helps a bit, but not in the middle of a big coughing fit.

What do you suggest I do?

Hi littlefinn,

You can take a dose of Phosphorus 30c, just 1 single dose.

Report after 72 hours.

Only just saw this... will take it first thing in the morning, cause I'm about to go to bed and just took some panadol to get rid of my pounding headache from coughing. The cough has become very wheezy now, and I have had to use ventolin over the past 24 hours, but I will not take anything tomorrow except the phos.

Thanks a lot Sameer.

littlefinn last decade
Sorry, can I just confirm this is 2 pills in 200ml water, and 1 teaspoon?

littlefinn last decade
Yes, that should be enough.

Hi Sameer, it's been three days since the dose of phos 30C. I took it right before going to bed, and the next morning my cough had loosened so much it felt like a completely different cough. I still coughed a fair bit during the day, but it felt productive, and was no longer uncomfortable or troublesome.

Unfortunately it changed again 24 hours later, and is now mostly dry and unproductive again (looser in the mornings). It has definitely gotten better each day, as I would expect by two weeks after the initial 'infection', but is still bothersome and persistent.

Still violent, hacking, dry, preventing sleep, and worse from talking, loud, lying and laughing ? Head pains from coughing ?

sameervermani last decade
Hmmm... not so much. I'm not coughing much at night anymore. It is dry and unproductive. Worse from laughing and talking too much. My head does hurt when I have a particularly bad coughing fit, but that is not happening as much anymore. Occasionally I cough so much I dry retch as if I was going to throw up - a new experience for me. On the whole it is better than it was, but still similar symptoms.

littlefinn last decade
Just wanted to add that the wheeziness is quite bad. It is coming from deep down in my chest when I breathe deeply in or out.

littlefinn last decade
Any sensation which causes the cough ?

Anything which makes it better ?

Anything else which makes it worse, apart from talking and laughing ?

Any other odd symptom since this cough started ? Anything which has changed in general since this cough started ?

Try to form a list of the most persistent and troublesome symptoms, I am not able to narrow down to the remedy as of now.

I can only think of very general things. It seems worse as the day wears on, and better after eating or drinking.

My mood has definitely deterioriated a lot, particularly in the last few days. I feel quite angry and negative, and it's not a place I've been in much lately. This is probably partially due to not getting enough sleep for the past two weeks.

If I think of anything else I will pop back in.

Please take 3 doses of DROSERA 30c, and report after 48 hours.

sameervermani last decade
Ack! I was so hoping it would be something I already had. I have no way of getting to the dispensary in the next few days at all. :(

I thought of a couple more things anyway. Since the cough started, I have had an increased appetite. Also I have noticed an increase in nasal congestion in the last few days, which is something I haven't had for quite a while thanks to the lachesis.

littlefinn last decade
Hi again Sameer. The cough is improving slowly. Did the additional symptoms change the prescription at all?

This morning, while coughing, I pulled a muscle on the left side of my ribcage just beneath my breast, and I'm in agony. Is there anything I can take for that?

littlefinn last decade
Drosera would still be my choice for this cough.

sameervermani last decade
Hi Sameer. I still cannot get to the dispensary, and if I order it by post, the cough will probably be gone by the time it gets to me.

Everything seems to be recurring now. I have several problems coming up that I haven't experienced in months and months, eg, heartburn, pimples and something else I would rather not mention on a public forum. Also my mental state is not good at all. Could it be a good time to take some more LM lachesis?

littlefinn last decade
Take a dose of LACHESIS LM2 then. Just 1 dose as follows:

Dissolve 2 drops in 250 ml spring water, and take a teaspoon from there.

Report after 72 HOURS.

sameervermani last decade
Hi there, thanks for that. I just need to wait for a day or two now, because I hurt my rib again this morning (just when it was starting to feel better) and it's hurting 100 times more than before. I need to take painkillers to deal with it, and I don't want that to get in the way of the lachesis. Is that the right thing to do?
