Persisting cold and cough and headache

I'm 48 years old, male and live in India. I'm also diabetic and hypertensive for which I'm on allopathic treatment which also involves cholesterol lowering medicine and I also take medication for lowering my uric acid level.
The reason I'm writing is that over the last couple of months I've been suffering from a deep rooted cold which refuses to disappear. I have a near chronic cough which is mostly dry but I do expectorate as well. When I cough, my head hurts and now I have a bad headache for which I’m currently taking a tablet daily. The headache lessens after the tablet's taken but reappears again, after the effect of the medicine wears off. I feel weak and listless all the time and want to lie down though I cant because I have to work. I also get stresed out over trivial issues that possibly raise my b.p. levels as well. I seek help for my cold and cough and especially the headache which I feel started with my coughing (every time I cough, my head hurts as if I'm pulling a blood vessel or something). Please suggest what I should take and how I should take the medication. Also, note that I need to take my allopathic medication daily).

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is towards the right of the centre of the head..i.e. on the top of the head towards the middle ...off centre towards the right. If I cover the top of my head with both my hands, it'll be the region corresponding to below my right hand.

Thank you, Doctor, but how many globules in each dose or is it liquid? I will do this but kindly note that I am suffering from a vicious cold [in my first message I had mentioned that the cough is near chronic] for the last two months and everytime I cough, my head hurts.. the cough is becoming dry -though I do expectorate occasionally-and my urge to cough is continuous, almost asthmatic/ whooping (I do not hve asthma or whooping cough by the way)so I would be grateful if treatment were suggested to get myself rid of this cough as I feel my headache is related to the bad cold I have. Thank you once agin.

Shortly after your post I came down with typhoid and paratyphoid during which period my cough persisted. I did not take the medication you suggested then, as I was under allopathic treatment and on antibiotics.
After rejoining office, I took the medication suggested by you from 8th evening to 11th of this month. I have waited and it is almost 7 days after completing your treatment that my problem continues to persist. I still have the dry cough which is like a whooping cough.. when it starts I need to cough four to five times. This happens a few times during the day. It is now almost three months now that I have been suffering. Kindly help.
