I have read all of these articles and am so blessed.
The last paragraph in David Little's article is a call to homeopathy!

I am so hopeful of myself being cured of my chronic miasms and finding health after so many years of inferior health and living.
I still have so many questions, but they are daily being answered. David's article especially helped me see how the miasms layer and how they affect constitution and temperament over time and into the next generation. I know that I have passed on miasms to my children. but praise God there is hope! I think I have some understanding now of how my own healing will progress and what may happen with returning symptoms.

I have started the Avena and after one week will let Nawaz know. I hope that I have given the correct information

I know it is tempting to self subscribe, but I do not have the knowledge at this point and I do not want to get it wrong. I would rather learn from all of you.
I only received the Avena and Thuja 2 days ago so was unable to begin until yesterday.
I do not know what miasm I am in, but hope that you are able to tell by my symptoms.
I only know that I had gonnorhea a long time ago that was suppressed and that I have warts and nasal congestion as well as pilonatal cyst. About 5 yrs ago I had a small fatty cyst removed from my left arm and I have always had alot of moles. I am also somewhat irritable and like to be alone. Discharges are slight and greenish or pussy.
I am tall and thin and have always been that way, so I know that is not sycotic, but probably from something inherited. I am also active and disciplined i my eating.
I do regularly get intestinal colic from too much bread or wrong combination of food. I am relieved by passing gas and stool. I have had 5 children since the gonnorhea episode. We have 8 grandchildren.
Could I have a different inherited miasm? I expect that new symptoms will show up as I go on with the avena and then the Thuja.
Its hard for me to think of any other symptoms at this point. I want to give all of the information you need, so ask any question.
I hope that helps and I'll tell you when I have finished 1 wk of Avena.

Yes I have these now.
The warts are 1 on the inside of my left little finger. It is red and sometimes irritated, then I have one on the inside of my left thigh, it is dry and not red. I have a few small ones on my chest. They all appeared during the pregnancy of my 5th child 21 yrs ago.
The pilonatal cyst I have had 3 yrs. It is has been draining the past few days. The drainage is at first white and chalky and then light yellow pus mixed with a slight amt of blood. It has been itching and irritated before it began to drain. It has slowed down now, but I think it is growing again.
the nasal congestion is chronic-it gets worse when I get a cold, which seems to be 3-4 times a year. the past few years I have had more colds. It drains into the back of my throat and I feel there is always a glob there. The color is slightly greenish. My nose does not run though, just drains into the throat. I'm always trying to hawk it up. Not very ladylike!

My understanding-which is limited-is that a sycotic constitution is fat and flabby.
I'm sure you can you help me to understand this.
I don't want to interfere with your treatment I am just trying to understand. I think it is because my hereditary constitution is not sycotic?

I'm not really like that either, but I do exercise and walk alot so that makes a difference. I guess what your saying is that its just not something to base a remedy on, but it can be an indicator?

I have already taken my first dose of avena today. Should I wait until tomorrow to take the thuja? How do you reccommend that I take the Thuja? I know I must not self prescribe, but from my reading of the Organon and other articles I am persuaded that the medicinal solution is the best way, but I am not sure how to do that. I have read that Hahnemman would mix one pill in water and then from that remove some and mix again and then dose from the second cup???? I will wait your advice and I will not take Avena again for now.

Well I am trying to learn homeopathy-only for one year though and I still get confused about many things. I learn a little and go back and learn it again and add one new thought and then go back and so on!
so I am very thankful for your help and expertise and guidance.
I will take the thuja in an hour as I just ate breakfaast.
why is it necessary to throw the rest in the sink?

I haven't noticed any change or response to the thuja at this point. I feel the same as before. should I take another dose?

Yes I am reading the 6th edition of the Organon for the 2nd time and studying with Little. I need to get the chronic diseases so I can read it as a book and not on the computer.

I have been waiting all day to let you know how I am feeling. I'm not sure I feel any different. Maybe my mood is a small bit better, but not anything dramatic. My energy is about the same.
I'll let you know if I feel something different tomorrow or tonight.

I haven't had any drainage from the cyst since I last posted, yet it seems less irritated and possibly smaller.
As far as current symptoms I have chapped lips that do not get better, a slight sore throat that is not from a cold, the mucus in my throat continues to be greenish.
I think that I ma slightly less stiff when I rise.
I have had some bad indigestion; what I mean is that I don't digest very quickly-the food just sits and when I eat bread, rice, etc I often get stomach gas and then intestinal pains and gas. I have tried to cut down on the carbohydrates for now and I am not very hungry. also some belching.
All of this has been common for me over the last years, but seemed worse the last few weeks. And along with this I become more irritable.
If I think of anything else I will tell you.
