Tennis Elbow or Tendonitis anyone Help

Dear all,

I started doing my Bodybuilding after a couple of years.I lifted heavy weights.I am having pain on the out side of the right hand elbow.Pain is concentrated only on outside of the elbow point.Pain is not radiating to shoulders or arms.I cant go to gym since 15 days.I doubt it is Tennis Elbow.I gone thru many articles here.I dont know which remedy to use like rhustox ,arnica etc...Any body fully relieved from tennis elbow in the past?.Waiting for response..

Regards.....

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
A patient to whom I prescribed Colocynthis 200 in the Wet dose many years ago reported that his tennis elbow was healed.

You can type Tennis Elbow into the Search box and see if you can access that thread.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before sipping a capful of the bottle twice daily.

Thank you for your interest in my Joepathy and I hope that you are also taking a dose of Arnica 30 nightly. I am not aware of your age but it is only when you reach my age of 82 years that you will realize that my therapy is indeed a priceless gift which surpasses by far all the tonics and minerals that medicine can offer to achieve the status of health that I enjoy today.

You might also like to visit my Website:

joedelivera.com

I started it recently at the requests of my patients who were keen that they have one that they can refer to my Joepathy . It is still in its early days but I shall be copying and pasting many of the more interesting cases that I have helped on the many Homeopathic Forums that I visit today.

You can also Google 'Joepathy' and 'Joe De Livera' to read a collection of some of the more interesting of my cases which Google has picked up during the past few years.

Answering your question, you may take it for as long as you feel that it is helping you but I would appreciate if you will report your response in 4 days after you start to enable me to advice you further.

It is unlikely that your Tendonitis will be cured overnight but I will not be too surprised if it is.

You must obviously NOT use those muscles for some weeks till the scar tissue has been healed.

It occurred to me that Arnica 30c in the Wet dose will also help to heal the damaged muscles. Leave half hour between remedies.

Tennis Elbow and related conditions aren't usually difficult to treat. In order to choose a medicine out of the many we have for injuries and strains, it is necessary to individually characterize the complaint as much as possible.

The pain must be defined very precisely as to its type, its sensation. The pain must also be defined by what makes it worse, what makes it better. It should also be defined in terms of what time of the day it appears, whether it moves to any other part of the body, and even as to what particular type of movement caused the injury in the first place.

Arnica is very sensitive to TOUCH primarily. The Arnica patient will not want anyone or anything to come near the affected part. The slightest knock or jar can cause the pain to aggravate substantially. There is often a BRUISED sensation, as if someone had hit it with a hammer. This Bruised sensation may appear alongside an ACHING pain.

So Arnica is Sensitive, Averse to Touch, Bruised, Aching.

Rhus-tox on the other hand is primarily STIFF, TIGHT, DIFFICULT to get MOVING. But it is always better for MOVEMENT despite the initial pain that comes from attempting it. There is a sensation of RESTLESSNESS in the part or the person themselves, with a desire to keep moving despite the pain.

So Rhus-tox is Stiff, Tight, Restless, better for Moving although the first Movement is painful.

There are many remedies for injuries though - all members of the plant families to which Arnic (COMPOSITAE) and Rhus-tox (ANACARDIACEAE) are particularly useful.

Colocynthis, when indicated has a great aversion to being DISTURBED, and is generally worse for MOVEMENT - even the slightest movement. There is a great desire to keep STILL and to keep QUIET. When affected by pain, much like Chamomilla, they will react to any interference with ANGER. Where Chamomilla will snap without thinking, Colocynthis will swallow their anger and attempt to keep it within.

So Colocynthis is worse for Movement, better when quiet and still, and typically angry when disturbed.

You can continue with the Colocynthis 200c but reduce it to just one dose per day.

Add the following remedies:

Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken thrice daily.

Ferr Phos 6x dose 3 tablets taken thrice daily.

If you suffer from acute pain you can also take Hypericum 200c in the Wet dose every 4 hours as an analgesic. It will help to control the pain but it will not cure the source of your pain.

Please note that these remedies do not constitute an instant fix of your Tendonitis. I have helped some patients on this Forum who did report relief within a short time but your case seems to be different.

homeopatient001,

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your elbow. I've had tennis elbow and golfers elbow. The golfer's elbow lasted me for years. Tendonitis type issues are often difficult to resolve. The very most important thing is to make sure you rest and do not perform any activity that exacerbates the pain. I ignored this advice and allowed my injury to get out of hand... now its lasted me for years. This site has some videos about tennis elbow: tennis-elbow-therapies(dot)com

You can also get information here: orthoinfo(dot)org/topic.cfm?topic=A00068&return_link=0

Hope that helps. Good luck!

Trying to use our medicines like orthodox medicine will usually fail. You are not asking the right question at all. We do not have 'tennis elbow' medicines. Every medicine (over 5000 of them) might be able to cure a specific case of tennis elbow based on the individual's symptoms, including those that affect the general and mental state. The correct question is 'What type of tennis elbow do I have' and then work from there to find the remedy.
