Behaviour-wise he is great. Kind, helpful, and independent. Just his night issues . If he wakes up in the night he is drenched in sweat.... But never complains that he is hot. Sleeps under the covers.

I tried something on impulse last night to see if it would help the grinding. It was just two tabs of kali phos 6x and 2 tabs of mag phos 6x before bed. He slept well, but did grind some. But today he is doing something different.. he is peeing very very frequently thru the day... like dribbling. No pain, no irritation. Your thoughts please? Was the dosage too much? Incorrect? Should i give it to him again tonight or wait? Or...

he's been good physically- health wise. Characterwise he seems to have gone back to a 2 year old state... he needs me more closer to him. More clingy, more attention.
He had a nightmare last night, kept him awake for an hour and half. Around 2 am... till 3:30... He said there are monsters under the bed, on the right side, so he insisted on sleeping on the left side. And this morning, i asked him what he was afraid of specifically, he said... foxes. Even more specifically, foxes with long noses, that bend. And they are under his bed. And they come by magic and he's seen them.
On the flip side, he wants a puppy desperately.
please advise.

Ah I missed that post from 23/3 it seems. Sounds like he got a side effect from those tissue salts. Don't use them they are just another kind of homoeopathy so need to be given for the whole case.

Moving back to an old state is a good sign, now we just need to find the remedy for that.

It looks once again like Sacchrum - did you ever get hold of that remedy. I know we discussed it before.

No i didn't, but i had placed the order for it, just didn't get around to picking it up.
What was the potency again? I'll pass by tomorrow. Would this also help the night urination? He pees ALOT in the night. ALOT.

karinamom last decade
Urinary frequency is a symptom of Sugar yes. Did that only start after using the tissue salts?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
No. Its a problem that I noticed after day potty training. He would rush to pee w great urgency, but not that much pee would come out. And he would be able to pee on command, even if it were just a dribble. The night diapers have always been full. As he's been growing, the day urine settled... Except on the day after I gave him those tissue salts. He still pees often, has more control, but the urine qty is a lot..
Since I didn't get a response from u after that msg I just stopped the tissue salts. The urine returned to his normal, but the nights are still heavy.
Now, he's having restless sleep. Dreaming. Its been an hour after he fell asleep, and he's screaming for me... As tho he's looking for me in a dream. He's stuck to the left side of the bed, insisting there are monsters on the right side. He doesn't show any fear during the day. Nor any fear of the dark or animals. All other issues- constipation, coughs colds, stomach ailments have all settled.

Pick up the Sacch I still think it is worth trying.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Ok I picked it up. They got the 'sacc 200c' by helios. They said it was the album, but it doesn't say on the bottle. Is that the right one? Its pellets, so I will make it into liquid? Also, u suggested the same remedy for my daughter a while back, should I go ahead and give it to her as well? She's going thru an acute situation right now, will post details on her thread.

Sacc-alb is the same as Sacch. Go ahead and give both of them the remedy, from a liquid dose - 2 hits, into whatever amount of water you last used for both of them. 1 teaspoon out of that.

Sacch is actually considered a 'universal layer' remedy by Dr. Tinus Smits, meaning that all human beings may need it to move them through a common experience/trauma.

I gave the dose before bed. He slept well last night, slept an hour longer in the morning than he normally does. He complained of feeling hot before sleeping, but slept well. He didn't toss about or cry out, or wake up.
His appetite is lower than it usually is. He's eating a lot less today.
Normally he's hungry and eats well, almost adultlike portions, but is on the slim and tall side.
He's calmer today... not as aggressive, not fighting, or shouting as much. More cooperative.
His diaper was still very much loaded with pee in the morning.

One thing he did differently. Normally before we head out I ask him to use the washroom. And remember i said he's able to urinate (however little) on command? Well today, when i asked him to go to the washroom, he said 'no I don't feel like.' And i left it at that.

Well his reaction certainly has been more positive and immediate than his sister.

You know I have been thinking, and this is a problem with not seeing them in person, I wonder if she has been copying his behaviour? I see younger siblings do that a lot, and it can hide their true state. This is something I am alert for in a clinical situation but much harder for me to determine from written information.

They have a 2 year age gap, and yes she copies him a lot. But for some reason, i find her more aggressive than he is, more attention seeking, and yells a whole lot more.
But both have this other personality, a very gentle loving, caring personality.

This constipation issue that she's going through, he went thru the exact same thing, at the exact same age. It was when i was potty training him, he started witholding the bms. I thought if i delayed her potty training, then it wouldn't happen to her, but it did.
I remember giving him aloe soc. But i decided to post here instead since you've been treating them so successfully.

So they may be the same at their core. Just to be clear, because the case-taking as we do it here is staggered across so much time and is broken up into so many small pieces, is this bowel symptom normal for her, but currently exaggerated?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
I didn't get that msg for some reason. No this is not normal, I am not sure how exaggerated it is, cuz she never has had a Bm issue...since the day she was born, she was very very regular, as an infant had quite a few bms a day, w the breastfeeding. No diaper rashes, no anus issues, no infections there. The only thing is, when she started walking, her preferred position is standing, and hardly ever outside the house. When we are out the whole day, as soon as we walk in the house, she begins playing, and she will have her bm. She has gas occasionally, usually a precursor to an acute. It doesn't bother her.

As for him, he woke up once last night around 10 PM. Slept well after that. Diaper still loaded. Very calm, especially towards his sibling. Not clingy much. Good mood.

He's complained of stomach ache twice today. A very very old chronic symptom. As a baby he was colicky, throwing up milk. As he grew, constipated- chronic. Then as a 2 year old, always complained of tummy pain, and ate to alleviate that pain. Whether it was hunger related or not, at that time i was never sure, but eating always helped. The tummy pain would come in long car rides as well. It has been gone the past year and a half. Until today. When he woke up before breakfast, he complained. ANd now again. I asked him if he was hungry, he said no... just it hurts. So i've asked him to rest it out. He first said he wanted to eat... then he said no.. it's just pain.

Old symptom returning is a good sign. It is the correct thing to wait it out at this stage.

He slept well last night. Complained of foot pain this morning. Little more clingy than yesterday.

No stomach aches today. Eating more. Had one tantrum today because he was hungry and wanted a sugary snack. He does have sweet cravings, and today he couldn't have it cuz it was close to his dinner time. I try to limit his sugar and chocolate intake a day to one chocolate piece or one sugary snack because i did notice that sugar gets him more hyper and more aggressive. Not sure if that's also one of the symptoms of this medicine.
I don't know what to do tonight if i should redose or not... his diapers are still loaded ...

I would say wait another day or so lets see what else happens. Improvement can take a week to show itself in a marked way.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Okay here goes. His aggressive behavior has reduced dramatically. More pleasant, even towards his sister.
He's not reacting to aggression (from his sister) with aggression, rather just walking away.
Every day he's had a unique aggravation.
He had the stomach aches, lasted one day.
The next day he complained that his anus hurted. When i took a look, it was red, around the anus. Like red lips. He used to get this frequently right before a new tooth would cut. Seems to have lasted two days. Hasn't complained since.
THen the following night, i noticed he was grinding his teeth, ALOT. It was worse, more intense, and lasted longer...
Yesterday, through the day, after eating, he kept hiccupping. He noticed it and kept asking me why that was happening.
Last night he slept well, but woke up really early around 5 am....He seems to have a stuffy nose today. But his mood has been really good.

Excellent! That is great, really good reaction so far. Continue to observe, no more doses for the time being :)

I have sent a few emails to your account, they haven't bounced back or anything, but seems like you haven't gotten them. Can you check your bulk folder?

He's been alright. I haven't seen any changes in his overnight diaper as yet, but his urgent frequency to pee through the day has definitely decreased. He goes just a few times. He's got a stye.. of some sort that I noticed a few days ago on his upper right lid. Still wait?

karinamom last decade
he started something new few days back, putting his fingers in his mouth. This is totally new, never really done it since he was just a few months old.... But never like this- two fingers... sucking them. His thirst has reduced, to almost nil. Day frequency of pees reduced.
i'm thinking calc carb?
please suggest.

Still clingy, and needing of attention.
His bedwetting showed zero change, but i was able to clock the times at which he wets the bed... the first one around 11pm, second pee around 3-4am, and sometimes if he sleeps in, until 7:30am then he'll wet the bed before getting up. He has zero recollection of when it happens, even the last pee.
Even though i've never scolded him about it, or made a big deal, he seems embarrassed, and shows a guilty look. He doesn't like the feeling and was almost in tears in the morning when he realized he wet himself. Said he needed help getting out of bed and out of his wet clothes.
