Repeat doses must always be in liquid form and must always be succussed. However for that bottle to remain fresh it needs to have some alcohol in it - do you have something like brandy or vodka you can put in it? Any spirit is usually ok - just a small amount usually 5 parts water to 1 part alcohol is fine.

Thank you so much for all your help! I ended up only needing one more does the following day and was much better.

Very nice to hear. Glad I could help :)

Now if only something would work for this terrible 'morning sickness'.

Are you pregnant?

Pop the symptoms up here, we can work on that as well.

I am surprised the spongia didn't help all the problems - perhaps it was just a specific for the respiratory symptoms.

I am pregnant ... just 6 weeks. (I did not know yet when you were helping me with the cough/cold). This is my second pregnancy, and with the first at 6 weeks it hit and continued until 2 weeks after delivery :oP Last time I was on Diclecton (sp?) the entire pregnancy, and it only helped enough to keep one meal down a day during the second and third trimesters, the first trimester nothing helped and I struggled to keep water down.

This started over a week ago, I am nauseous from the time I wake up (with in moments of waking up it starts) and is constant all day right up until I fall asleep.

Sometimes I throw up, but I seem to be able to keep things down if I sit still and breath slowly and sip water (cool or cold is best) - hard to do with a toddler. I have added Vitamin B6, and am wearing sea-bands (I do notice if I take them off with in an hour I end up getting sick). I tried Tabacum Complex (one dose) and it did nothing, the following day was advised to try Sepia Officinalis (3 doses) ... the first dose did nothing, 12 hrs later I took the second and it did nothing, so I did not bother with the 3rd.

I am exhausted, have very little energy, and find my patients are a bit thin. I am crampy (especially on the right side) lower abdomen. (I had a US yesterday and sac looks good, fetal heart rate 108, no cysts on ovaries). I am preferring to eat lean protien and raw fruit and veggies, and am having aversions to breads, baked goods, ginger and green peppers.

Let me know if you need any more info

Still having a really hard time with this 'morning sickness'. The last week has been more consistant:

Better with eating, especially apples, raw veggies, lean protien. Worse when hungry, with sugar.

I am able to sleep, but falling asleep is difficult.

Please let me know if there is anything you can suggest.

Thank you

I am sorry I didn't get right back to you it is easy to lose track of a post here.

What makes the nausea worse (activities, position, environmental factors etc)?

What makes the nausea better?

Where do you feel the nausea the most or the strongest?

What other symptoms occur at the same time as the nausea?

What makes it difficult to fall asleep?

Describe your patience.

Where do you feel your exhaustion?

What aggravates your exhaustion?

What makes your exhaustion better even if only a little bit?

When do you feel most exhausted?

Thanks for getting back ... I am sure you are super busy so I really do appreciate your time :o)

Answers:

What makes the nausea worse (activities, position, environmental factors etc)? First getting out of bed, getting hungry, rocking, (even seeing others rock or spin), sitting still to long, smelling anything cooking, smoke.

What makes the nausea better? Physical activity, eating (apples, lean protein, raw veggies).

Where do you feel the nausea the most or the strongest? Not sure what you mean by where? If you meant when, then it is worse late afternoon/early evening.

What other symptoms occur at the same time as the nausea? I am nauseous from the time I get up until I sleep - I have a slight runny nose (clear) in the mornings however this is very common for me at this time of year here.My bowl movements have become irregular - I used to go every day (usually in the am), and now it is once every 3 days, and when I do go there is 'lots' and although I do not have to strain at all, and the consistency of it is normal, I do tend to bleed. (Bright red, immediately after going - probably 1/4 cup worth then it stops).

What makes it difficult to fall asleep? Being so nauseous. I feel I probably eventually fall asleep as I am so exhausted.

Describe your patience. I just find that being so sick and tired that when I am pushed I feel like I can only 'take it' for a short time. (I have a 2.5 yr old). Otherwise I am doing pretty good - just when being really pushed.

Where do you feel your exhaustion? My whole body is tired, when I have super tired I especially feel it in my eyes (they feel heavy / hard to keep open).

What aggravates your exhaustion? Not enough sleep (hard to open my eyes in the morning if I have had less then 8 hrs sleep). If I am up early OR we do a lot of activity in the morning I have a very hard time keeping my eyes open by late afternoon.

What makes your exhaustion better even if only a little bit? If I do get 8hrs sleep or more, and / or our activities are balanced with good down time then I do a bit better.

When do you feel most exhausted? Late night, and sometimes (see above) later afternoon.

I understand that my body will be more tired during this trimester, and I feel if I was not so nauseous, and was able to keep all my meals down then my exhaustion would be less.

Thanks again

Sorry I meant WHERE do you feel the nausea? Stomach, Bowels, Throat, Chest, Head etc.

Are you bleeding from the anus when you pass stool?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Nausea smell of food
Nausea thinking of food
Nausea looking at moving objects
Nausea from any rocking motion
Nausea during motion
Nausea during pregnancy
Nausea on rising up from bed
Nausea while sitting

Plus the general quality of Ailments from loss of sleep.

All of this adds up to Cocculus. Can you get hold of 30c?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Um, for the 'where' - my stomach always, sometimes my throat as well if I see or smell terrible.

I believe the bleeding is from the anus, possibly a fissure.

Bicknell last decade
It could also be a haemorrhoid, which is fairly common for pregnancy (unless you have had a history of fissures). Fissures tend to be very painful though.

Get hold of the Cocculus though I beleive that will help you.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
OK, I should be able to pick it up this evening or tomorrow morning.

It also just occurred to me that I did not mention that I have been struggling with vaginal 'yeast' and slight dryness with itching. The dryness/itching is the skin above the clitoris, everywhere else 'down there' is normal. I do have slight discharge cloudy to white - no particular odour. This has been happening for the last week.

Sorry for not listing that earlier with the symptoms - very tired right now.

Bicknell last decade
How should I does the Cocculus 30ch? I will only be able to get the pillules (I will look into finding a liquid).

I will be picking it up tomorrow morning as it is almost bed time for my daughter here.

Thanks, I am pumped to try something new :)
