This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Dr. David,

I think the main reason for my problem is too much estrogen production in my body =>

Estrogen stunts heigth, thats why women stop growing earlier.

Too much estrogen also leads to gynecomastia.

Sir, i am really fedup of life and sad, could you help me regain my confidence ?

I have real gynecomasta - excess breast tissue.

Please help, thx

I will post my intake form, which you can see is different to others on this site. After you have given answers to it, I will look over the information and see what I can suggest.

GUIDELINES FOR GIVING HOMOEOPATHIC CASE INFORMATION

It is important to describe all your problems in as much detail as you are able. One word answers and short sentences are not particularly helpful. Discuss each problem one at a time, providing (as a minimum level of detail) the following information.

1. What exactly happens?
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?
4. What creates some relief for the problem?
5. What triggers the problem into occuring?
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur?
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?

Move from one problem to the next, doing the same thing. IT IS VITAL THAT YOU GIVE A COMPLETE PICTURE OF YOUR HEALTH BY PROVIDING ALL PROBLEMS YOU HAVE, EVEN IF NOT CONNECTED TO THE MAIN ONE, AND EVEN IF YOU CONSIDER IT OF LESS IMPORTANCE.

You should address each problem separately using the above 7 questions as a guide. Do not put all your complaints into each of the 7 questions. Discuss one problem at a time. If you have, for example, a headache with nausea, do each component separately too (what makes the head pain worse or better, what makes the nausea worse or better).

As well as this, please describe any traumatic incidents that have taken place in your life. Discuss anything that has had a lasting impact on you mentally, emotionally or physically.

Discuss the way that you manage or deal with your problems, or any problems that occur in your life.

Discuss any patterns you have noticed in your behavior especially concerning your disease.

Discuss any part of your life where you feel stuck or unable to change and grow, especially where this occurred around the beginning of your disease, or as the disease evolved.

Describe your childhood and the kind of environment you grew up in, with reference to your relationships with your family, your school experiences, and any serious childhood diseases.

If your earlier discussions have not mentioned these already, please describe:

1. The specific foods that you crave (not just like) or hate
2. The specific drinks that you crave or hate
3. What your sleep is like
4. How the weather and the temperature affects you
5. What kinds of things in the environment you are particularly sensitive to
6. What your general level of energy is like
7. What your level of sexual energy or desire is like
8. Describe your menstrual cycle

9. Also give these details

a) Body type and build
b) Skin colour and texture
c) Areas of the body tends to perspire on
d) Odour of sweat, body, stool, flatus, urine
e) Colour of stool, urine, sweat

10. Give any reactions to vaccines or medical drugs.

1. I have excess breast tissue, due to which I have large breasts. Since I got female type fat distribution (on thigs, butt), I suspect I had this issue due to excessive ESTROGEN levels. This also stopped me from growing.
Because of gynecomastia, I was always unsure and bad posture (to hide breasts), so I sweat a lot too. Too much perspiration.

I have gynecomastia since age 10, perspiration age 12 and stop growing at age 13. (now nearly i’m 19)

2. I have no pain. It is psychological, i am afraid of approaching strangers, esp females. Have a low self esteem, always worried what to wear so that people don’t notice my gyno. Nearly never wear t shirts and so on

3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?
It is there all the time.

4. What creates some relief for the problem?

Being alone, as then no one is watching me or judging me or my body.

5. What triggers the problem into occuring?
High estrogen levels.

6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur?
All time.

7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?

No event or treatment, just a bit troubled childhood. Parents quarrelling and not much friends at school.

OTHER PROBLEMS (mainly 4)

A
1. Headache
2. It starts with my eyevision, I start getting dizzy views.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring? If i watch tv or am on computer.
4. What creates some relief for the problem? Sleeping/resting on bed.
5. What triggers the problem into occuring? Don’t know, sometimes it occurs suddenly, sometimes when I am alot on the computer (because I don’t go outside due to low self esteem & no friends)
6. Usually during the daytime, mostly afternoon evening.
7. First time was when I was about 12, during an exam. Then it happened a lot, but now it has lessened. I only have it once in many months. I used to drink a lot of soft drinks with gas, and my mom says maybe it had to do with that. Now I don’t drink as much soft drinks anymore.

B
1. Stomache ache
2. I have much pain in stomache, like it is tearing. Before it used to be due to bad eating habits, lots of sugary stuff, cakes etc but now it comes there sometimes, although I don’t eat too much unhealthy now.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring? If I do nothing.
4. What creates some relief for the problem? Going to toilet, massaging stomache
5. What triggers the problem into occuring? Bad food maybe.
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur? Usually daytime.
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started? I have always had stomache problems; but it was worst in period of age 9 – 15.

C.
1. Leg pain (at backside of tibia, between tibia and fibula, usually on inner side of legs) (i think that part is called membrane not sure)
2. I get much pain in legs,
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring? Continue running or rope skipping
4. What creates some relief for the problem? Stopping exercise, lying down
5. What triggers the problem into occuring? Running or rope skipping
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur? When exercising
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started? Since I had gyno, I never went out or did no sports, maybe thats why my legs are not used to do exercise

D. Exercise urticaria
1. Itchy body, esp legs, torso, back, throat,
2. Body gets so itchy that i just want to tear of skin
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring? Continue to stand in heat or exercising
4. What creates some relief for the problem? Stop exercising or go to colder place
5. What triggers the problem into occuring? Hot environment or exercising
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur? When exercising
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started? Dont know exactly, I must be around 13-14.

Discuss the way that you manage or deal with your problems, or any problems that occur in your life.

I am very stressed about problems, keep thinking about small things. I don’t like to get into trouble. I am very much misunderstood by many people – I do care a lot about people but never show it.

Discuss any patterns you have noticed in your behavior especially concerning your disease.

I don’t want to go into new places, due to fear of being judged. Low self esteem, don’t like meeting new people. Short tempered as kid, now more or less under control. I am quite skeptic and suspictive.

Discuss any part of your life where you feel stuck or unable to change and grow, especially where this occurred around the beginning of your disease, or as the disease evolved.
I don’t get this question? I cant easily meet new people, mainly due to gynecomastia. I don’t want to go and do sports.

Describe your childhood and the kind of environment you grew up in, with reference to your relationships with your family, your school experiences, and any serious childhood diseases.
I was mostly a loner, watched a lot of tv. Parents often quarrelled. My mom was busy in work, not much time for me. Father was not very caring, strict and sometimes also beat me. I was bullied at school also some fights, especially early years.

If your earlier discussions have not mentioned these already, please describe:

1. The specific foods that you crave (not just like) or hate
Mostly fried food, parathas burgers fries. I don’t know what food i hate
2. The specific drinks that you crave or hate
I love drinking multifruit juices
3. What your sleep is like
Anything between 7 and 10 hours. Usually sleeping by 11 and wake up at 7, or when I go to sleep at 1-2 then awake at 10-11.
4. How the weather and the temperature affects you
I don’t like hot weather, as i have to wear t shirts then and then gyno is seen by everyone. I always want that it rains, so i can wear more clothes to hide my condition
5. What kinds of things in the environment you are particularly sensitive to
nothing much i think
6. What your general level of energy is like
i am often tired, but always cheerful.
7. What your level of sexual energy or desire is like
high sexual drive, i used to masturbate a lot, now only few times a week.

9. Also give these details

a) Body type and build
Skinny still fat. I have tiny bone structure but much fat, so I don’t look as fat as I am. Tiny arms, wrist is 6 inches. I got female type of fat distribution, wide hips, fat bottom and manboobs. Manboobs and hips are about 38 inches. My legs are not that long.
b) Skin colour and texture
Light brown
c) Areas of the body tends to perspire on
underarms, groin area, back
d) Odour of sweat, body, stool, flatus, urine
sweat on body smell foul
stool is usually normal, sometimes liquidy.
flatus, at times, sometimes much (depends if i eat much onions or not), stinks at times , other times not
urine, normal

e) Colour of stool, urine, sweat
stool - Mostly brown, sometimes light brown
urine - usually yellow, when I drink water only then it is lighter colour
sweat - normal, but when I take out shirt I see yellow spots on underarm area of shirt
10. Give any reactions to vaccines or medical drugs.
Havent taken vaccines or medical drugs since a long time so don’t know. Not any particular reaction tho

Oh one more thing, could you list all the remedies you have been given in the past and any reactions you remember to them.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Thx sir, feel free to ask any other questions.

I haven't taken any specific medicine since age 10 (from memory). And before that, it was mostly fever and cough syrups because i used to cough a lot and had fever often (till 9 or so)

in a nutshell:

* Cough syrups/fever medicine when I was a kid, often antibiotics too.
*In last 5 years I haven't taken any medicine, except few pain killers now and then (dafalgon for headache).
*Have never used homeopathic medicine (unless i didnt know, but i doubt that)

thanks a lot and I hope that my case is not too complicated

Please describe the effect that having gynecomastia has had on your life.

Please describe your feelings towards your disease.

How do you feel when people see your problems? What do you do about this? What is the experience of being seen?

What does it mean to you that you have gynecomastia? Not a medical explanation, what do you feel it means to you as a person, what does it mean about you?

What things are you afraid of?

What were you afraid of as a child?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
having gyno is a hindrance for me on all levels
I cant make new friends, wear shirts or play sports. it has made me an introvert person. always trying to hide it from ppl. It has effected my posture too
i always wonder why i have this problem. i get angry and frustrated at times, where that i just died.

not many have people have seen my condition as i always wear many clothes, even in summer. I used to put phys education clothes under my shirt so that nobody could see my condition in changing rooms. When someone does see it , i jus feel like I shudnt be existing

as a kid i was afraid of darkness and heights. i still have fear of heights and also get shaky legs when im too stressed
Not afraid of darkness but dont like being in small spaces

I always feel judged, as am made out to be less capable due to this problem.
Cousins always tease me when I visit India.

I am weak because i don't go out or sport due to my condition. (i am ashamed to run because chest bulges when i run)

If you really need it, i can mail you a picture of my condition.

badshah19 last decade
A picture won't help me unfortunately. I am trying to understand the experience you have of living with your disease.

What does it mean to be 'less capable'?

In what way do you feel people 'judge' you?

What kind of stress makes your legs shake?

I understand that your problem makes you want to hide from others, to keep something about yourself hidden. This thing that you keep hidden - why do you keep it hidden?

What do you mean by 'I feel like I shouldn't be existing'?

Are there any other things about yourself that you feel ashamed of, want to cover up or keep hidden?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Less important than others, like less value. Inferior to cousins or so. One even went to the extent of calling me a eunuch when having an argument with me. These things hurt me

People judge by looks. I am at an age where all this is important, esp for opposite sex. I want a normal body like most other people, i can't even hit the gym as my chest will only get bigger.

Any stress, such as confrontations or being on heights causes shaky legs.

I keep it hidden because i don't want to be judged, don't want to be made fun of or taken less seriously than others.

'Shouldn't be existing' like shouldn't be on earth on that moment, like just die.

I think that this condition is the only thing i am really ashamed of and want to keep hidden.

Any more questions sir?

What are your first thoughts about the case?

I hope you find a useful remedy for me asap.. thx
[message edited by badshah19 on Wed, 07 Sep 2011 19:52:10 BST]

badshah19 last decade
Describe more on a person who is inferior to others.

What happens to a person who is made fun of, taken less seriously?

In your family, how do you see your place because of this condition?

How do you feel the opposite sex sees you?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Opinion of an inferior person doesn't matter. Nobody takes his or her dislikes into account. No friends, nobody is interested in him.

Person that is taken less seriously, made fun off becomes lonely, has no social life, has to stay alone, cope with boredom. Never imagine having a 'decent' girlfriend or good friend. I have often noticed friends leaving me when they are with girls because they see me as 'putting off girls'. I may not be the most handsome boy on earth, but a nice body is always a plus point, and it also adds much too your confidence and sadly I dont even have that.

In my family my status is okay (immediate). But in extended my cousins often look down upon me, make me feel ashamed by saying that I got boobs (and then laughing after saying it) and so on.

on side note, how do all these questions affect medicine? like unsure persons will have a higher dose? (just for my general knowledge)

Ask any more questions you may need sir

I am trying to determine the remedy. And your last group of answers were quite helpful.

The remedy I want you to get is Lac caninum 200c.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
So is that the only thing I need to get? If anything else is needed please tell me so I can get it too.

What is this remedy for, usually? Hormones or other level?

Kindly keep in mind that i also wish to increase my height (1.5-2 inches wud be enough), if it is still possible. so if you need to ask any question in regards to that, please do so.

When I order it I have to be complete, and the pharmacist said that C doesnt exist, it is either 200K or 200CH. Can you help please? And in tablets or dilution 'mother tinqture' form?

One more problem sir, I don't know but I am noticing that i have no or very weak erections nowadays. After reading threads here I guess it is due to years of frequent masturbation.. (i just noticed this problem these days)
[message edited by badshah19 on Fri, 09 Sep 2011 23:34:56 BST]

badshah19 last decade
I started this practise very early, at about 12 and continued a lot till 17
used to do it everyday, sometimes more than 2 times.

Since then I started doing lesser, and now since a few months i do about once every three days. Should i stop completely?

I did have concentration problems in school (becuase of masturbation i think)

and since 2 years i am getting weaker erections, almost none in fact.

i am ready to stop completely or limit to 3 times a month or so, but is ther any medicine i should take to reformat my system? (Ejaculation is also very liquidy)

if you want to treat it seperately after hormone levels, then it is good too sir

thanks

badshah19 last decade
The pharmacist doesnt know what 200c stands for? Wow, obviously a poorly trained one. C stands for Centesimal, the standard potency scale in homoeopathy. CH just means Centesimal according to the Hahnemannian method of preparation. CK (not just K) means Centesimal according to Korsakoff's method of preparation. As far as I have been able to tell, there is no difference in the quality of remedy that comes out at the end, so just get which ever you want. It is the number (200) that is important) and it must be in a C scale potency (not X or LM).

That is the only remedy I can currently say with some confidence you need. What happens after taking the remedy might direct us to other choice, but there is no way to predict that yet.

Masturbation does not cause illness. I would not worry about that. The remedy will correct all problems in your health if it is the correct one for you.

I am not treating anything seperately. Homoeopathy treats all symptoms at once, with a single remedy. There should be improvement across all levels if the simillimum is given.

At 19 you may still be able to grow a little, but I do not know if there is enough time left in your natural growth stage to do that. We will have to see.
