Diabetes

Diabetes is a result of pancreas dysfunction, resulting in the body being unable to control sugar levels. There are two types of diabetes.

Type I - Insulin Dependent, or juvenile onset diabetes. Sufferers control their sugar levels by injecting insulin on a regular basis.

Type II - Non Insulin Dependent, or adult onset Diabetes. Sufferers control their sugar levels with diet.

remedy that can help regulate sugar levels, and decrease insulin
requirements, I find that I am very busy with the children that I am kind

INSULIN DEPENDENT DIABETES MELLITUS (IDDM)
IDDM CAN DEVELOP AT ANY AGE, BUT USUALLY DOES SO IN CHILDHOOD, DURING TEENS OR IN EARLY ADULT-HOOD.WHAT CAUSES IT IS UNKNOWN, BUT IT MAY BE CAUSED BY A VIRUS WHICH LEADS TO THE DESTRUCTION OF THE ISLETS OF LANGERHANS WITHIN THE PANCREAS. WHATEVER THE CAUSE, THE PANCREAS STOPS MAKING INSULIN AND SYMPTOMS APPEAR QUICKLY AND SEVERELY.
IF NOT TREATED PROMPTLY, YOUR BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVEL RISES. AS THE GLUCOSE CANNOT GET INTO THE CELLS, YOUR BODY BEGINS BURNING UP ITS FAT STORES TOO QUICKLY(KETOSIS) AND YOUR BREATH SMELLS OF ACETONE. YOU MAY VOMIT, BECOME DEHYDRATED AND FEEL DROWSY. LEFT UNTREATED, YOU WILL EVENTUALLY LAPSE INTO A COMA.

DONT STOP TAKING INSULIN INJECTIONS AND TAKE HEALTHY DIET ACCORDINGLY.

IN HOMOEOPATHY YOU CAN TAKE THE FOLLOWING REMEDIES;

INSULINUM 30 ONCE DAILY
PANCREATINUM 30 ONCE DAILY

Thank you for your reply. I did develop diabetes when I was 22 years of age and I was told that it was caused by a virus.

I would like to know where I can get the remedies you suggested and how often can I take them, and is there anything I should be aware off?

Thanking you

You should be able to order anything from the front of abchomeopathy....check "buy homeopathic remedies" They are very cheap and worth a try. Also, you might want to check out the diet "Zone" by Barry Sears...It really helps me with my blood sugar levels..Meera

Hi there I have found a very effective, totally natural product, that helps to regulate blood sugar levels and has had many folk decrease their insulin levels. We have seen people drop their blood sugar levels up to 500 points in two weeks. We have also seen folks go from severe diabetic (9.0) to totally non-diabetic (5.7)levels with this product.

If you would like to learn more then please drop me a line at haydn@empowersupply.com

All the best,

One of our male patients, 55 years' old, has developed diabetic-impotency. Homoe medicines like Lyc in high potency, infrequest dose, and Ac Phos Q did not work.
Can we have any suggestions?

How far Homoeopathy can reduce the blood sugar levels or tackle Diabetes is a matter of conjecture. As of now there has been no remedy or research to stress the same.
The suggestion of Homoeopathic remedies may make patients nurse a fond hope which is not encouraging.

But Homoeopathy can definetely reduce and in some cases regress the side effects of Diabetes on various organs of the body.

Dr. Rizvi: is it insulin-dependent? You need to take all his symptoms into account (sulphur worked great in case of 60+ man with that problem but he had also other symptoms that were covered by sulphur).

What lowers bloodsugar:
cinnamon, fennel seeds, herb GYMNEA SYLVESTRE, and read about dr.Johanna Budwig on the Internet.

I am copying my post on another thread on Diabetes which may be of interest to those who are on this thread:

Bitter Gourd has been in use for centuries as an Ayurvedic remedy for diabetes in Sri Lanka. I was intrigued by the reference to Bitter Lemon and discovered that both are one and the same.

It is boiled and the liquid is used like tea and those who use it testify to its remarkably property of reducing blood sugar.

You can read more about this vegetable on:
http://www.evergreenseeds.com/evergreenseeds/bitgourbitme.html

Another remedy is Cinnamon which is also grown here in Sri Lanka. This is best used in powder form and the dose is 1/4 teaspoonful twice daily. It can be taken as a tea which can be brewed in boiling water or sprinkled in food. Please note that the dose must not be exceeded.

Joe, In India we take cinnamon in the Garam (hot) masala. It is a blend of 10 spices in equal strength. What if we take it in a veg and also cinnamon as per your dosage? All the restaurants surely add it to the vegetables. In such a case how do we adhere to your dosage. I too am diabetic and 2 weeks back my sugar PP after the medicines I normally take came upto 295.

It is obvious that you cannot use Cinnamon only for your Diabetes. You should use the standard drugs that your doctor has prescribed for you but you can also use the Cinnamon 1/4 teaspoonful twice daily either as a brew or in your food.

You should monitor your sugar levels and if you notice that they are dropping more than usual with the cinnamon, you can adjust your dosage of the drugs used as necessary.
