I believe the cure for lichen planus is in homeopathy. My grand father, father and myself suffered with this terrible disease called Lichen planus. My father had it in the mouth and I have it on my skin.

My legs, back and forearms were full of Lichen planus rashes, very ugly. I was almost ashamed initially. I consulted a dermatologist in Edison, NJ who gave me cortisone apply. I was happy initially, as it reduced. But, after about five months, it blasted back with lot more on many other parts of my body, including mouth and private organs.

I tried some herbal stuff. Finally, I found a reference of a homeopath in Mumbai called Dr Rajesh Shah, who is said to be working on many such skin diseases. I decided to go with his treatment for my father and me. We flew down to Mumbai, on our way to Ahmedabad, my native place.

To cut the story short, Dr Shah very systematically examined our details and assured of cure for lichen planas. He also warned us that use of cortisone eventually leads
to more Lichen planus, elsewhere on the body. In fact, that was our experience as well.

We were relatively new to homeopathy. This was in around 2010. I have taken medicine regularly and I must say that homeopathy has worked for both of us. My father's skin became flat, free from Lichen planus, only some dark marks remained. Dr Shah said that those marks were not the disease, the disease was gone. In my case, Lichen planus disappeared from mouth and genitals to start with, in about 6 o 8 months, mostly. Then, it slowly disappeared from skin as well, leaving behind similar marks are in my father's case.

Dr Shah has a website for lichen planus, but I cannot recall the name. You may google it.

All in all, we had great experience with homeopathy, which I though is worth sharing with. I strongly recommend homeopathic treatment from any good homeopath doctor.
