Iam 24 i have had shakes all my life that i can remember. My dad has them and i have 2 brothers and 1 sister ,my youngest brother has them also.I have been able to hide them from my friends by avoiding things that make them worse for the most part, they arent that bad if iam just sitting around the house or around friends.when i drink or carry things or pour drinks they get realy bad.I realy avoid getting my hair cut around my frinds or someone takeing pictures of me where i have to hold still because the more i try to hide it there my head/hands start to shake realy bad .
I just started to go to my doctor about it but he has me on paxil for social anxiety its not working ,even makes them worse where i realy notice them bad when iam alone.
It realy effects my social life i havent had a girlfrind in a long time.I drink some because it helps allot with it but i try to keep it under control(the drinking),it takes it all away and that is the only thing i would want from it.
I know alot of people have it alot worse and i was thinking sence mine isnt that bad anything that might take it away 100% or atleast from what was explained someone could realat to it and tell me about what they use and about how much they think it has diminished? thanks ,Allen sorry for the spelling
