The ABC Homeopathy Forum
PCOS, insulin resistance, high bp, fatigue
Hello,I am 38 years old female with severe PCOS (doctor calls it PCOS +). All classic symptoms (hiritism, very irregular periods, brown skin around neck, groin, armpits, etc).
I have always had irregular periods (sometimes only once a year and if i was lucky 6-7 times a year). I have been battling weight gain for almost 20 years. I have very high androgens and testosterone levels. I am taking glumetza 2000mg once daily. Last year, I got my period for 5 consecutive months, then I got pregnant with twins. Since the birth of my twins, I have had 1 period (in 8 mths) and the weight is starting to pack on again. It is very depressing. I exercise, changed my diet dramatically, taken herbs, supplements - nothing seems to restore my period.
I am chronically tired, have no energy to do things and have constant pains in my upper back (almost like someone is sitting on my back all the time). I forget things easily - something that just started about 8-10 mths ago.
I also take bp medication (trandate 200mg 2x per day and water pill 25mg 1x per day). I am always thirsty - I don't have diabetes .... my glucose is normal but my insulin is sky rocket.
I just want to be alone. I sweat a lot during the night (mostly head and neck) - sometimes I have to change my pyjamas since they are soaked.
I have difficulties sleeping through the night - waking up sometimes up to every 2 hours. I am tired but just can't sleep.
I have difficulty with bright lights at night - they are very bothersome. I am an anxious person and worry about everything.
I have had 2 pregnancies (and 2 c-sections). First pregnancy difficult - developed pre-eclampsia in my 7th month and then became toxemic the day of the c-section. Had an infection and sicne then have developped regular ear infections in my left ear (same side of the infection).
2nd pregnancy - a lot of vomiting but good until after c-section. I developed post-eclampsia this time and the doctor increased my bp meds.
I have had a brother who passed away when he was 13 (due to accident) and I am not sure if I am entirely over that. I have tried over the years to suppress it and now it seems at times I have no feelings any longer which is weird.
I am very sensitive to stuff - people telling me things, listening to sad music - tears just come flowing. I have a very great and understanding husband.
I hope someone can help. I want to be able to lose the weight, start getting my period again - get rid of PCOS, gain back the energy I had and live a happy life!
Thank you

hirtutism- since age 20-22
Tiredness - a few years on and off, but extremely tired for about 10 months
Stress/anxious - i think i've been like that all my life but more over the last 15 years or so.
11. Diabetic or non-Diabetic

14. Tongue and Taste
thin white coat on the tongue
taste is fine
15. Current BP (without medicine and with medicine)
been on medication since 2006 so hard to say what it is without medicine.
with medicine: 120/78
16. What exactly is happening?
i am not sure what is happening. over the last 3 years, i have been getting my period every 2-3 months which wasn't bad. since i got pregnant 2011, and the post-eclampsia, i am not sure what is going on but haven't had a period. my osteopath says that my head is not talking to the rest of the body....thus not in balance so everything seems to be going crazy. i am wondering if it's my hormones (which according to blood tests are within normal ranges) are triggering something else in my body - liver? kidneys? etc.... i had high ALT for 6 months after my pregnany in 2011, at last 2 blood tests it came back normal. i also had some water retention in my left arm and ankle. so i guess i am not eliminating the toxins properly (getting better now). I sweat a lot during the night (head and neck). Even sometimes during the day, I can be sitting down and start feeling very warm and everyone else isn't warm at all.
17. How do you feel?

21. One situation that had a
big effect on you?
a few of them....
death of a brother - about 18 years ago
mother sick on and off since 2008 and taking care of her
22. How did that feel like?
death of brother - first few years were tough, then i started to push it aside and not deal with it. it saddens me at times because it seems like i have no more feelings for that
mother sick - very tiring. she would call me day/night for help. she relies on me a lot and i always say yes even if i am tired - she is my mom
23. What sensation do you experience in that situation?
saddness, exhausted, frustrated
24. What are you showing by that gesture of your hand (Habits or Actions)?
don't understand the question. sorry
25. Current and previous remedies/medicines you are taking or took in the past?

I do public speaking but don't really like it - I get easily embarassed. I have a loving and understanding husband who tries to keep me sane, but I know my moods are taking a toll on him.
32. Aggravation (increases-time, season,)& Amelioration (Decreases)
i like the cold so i don't sweat but like hot baths. Hot baths help me relax.
33. Attached here your photographs of the affected area. (if required/optional)
34. Location of the disease
ovaries
35. Side of the problem (Right or Left), (Upper or Lower part of body)

Hello Nawaz,
Thank you for the remedy.
Unfortunately, I cannot find pulsatilla Q in liquid format. I called a few places in town, everyone has the pellets.
Let me know if I can use the pellets and at what potency.
Thank you again!

I know if you keep at it you can find
it online in Canada- just that mother
tincture is not listed easily and you
will find like 3x and 6x etc, it takes
time and Canadais frustrating regarding
this.
So I would just order it from Helios
Homeopathic Uk Pharmacy-they have
everything and it is easy to order-takes
about 5 days.
