sorry not to reply sooner I was offline a lot. it is definitely worth trying the arnica again in a lower potency as joe suggests, as you initially tried arnica 200c.

Think you should be looking at Euphrasia 3x twice a day for a week and then STOP. Wait a further week to judge result.

euphrasia is a good idea, also suggest graphites as a possibility.

I am confused as to which to choose. Also the dosage. I have both Euphrasia and Graphites in 30 c. Which shoudl I use?

30c is ok for graphites but in this case possibly the x potency of euphrasia would be better.
as you have graphites I suggest trying this first. give for one day only - 3 doses in this day (one pillule morning, one middle of the day, one evening). After this wait one day. Then:
If there is an improvement then wait until the improvement stops before giving for one more day, and so on.
If there is a slight worsening wait a couple of days to see if improvement starts or whether it just goes back to how it was - then come back for further advice.
If nothing happens at all wait for a couple of days, then if there is still no improvement come back for advice.

Child eye issues.
Please advice.
I have'nt tried either graphites or euphraisa as suggested in the last posts. Tried Thuja again on the advice of a homeopath, as I felt another personal consultation will be good. I then wanted to give him a break from all the remedies for a couple of weeks . I has been 2 weeks since thuja.
No change in chalazion.
Please help me as I really don't want surgery. I would be happy to give you any further details. I am at the end of my rope.

Day 4 of medicine no improvement.
His cough seemed worse and the allopathic doc said it was due to a throat virus and his throat is red. Given me a cough supressant. Seems to have residual thick phlegm that sticks to his throat that he is oughing at timea and at other times the cough is dry. Says his throat feels dry and tickles. On an earlier occassion of the same one dose of Rumex cleard it.
Do you think the Graphites is causing this increased cough? Can i give him rumex also?

Graphitis is not giving any problem.Rumex is the best medicine for dry cough.You better alternate Belladona and Rumex till his cough problem is settled and stop taking Graphitis till cough problem os over.

The cough is wet in the morning - worse for the hour after he wakes up. The cough syrup makes it dry in the afternoon/ evening. He coughs in his sleep also. There is residual phlegm.So do I give Rumex/ Bell or should l look at somethign like Antimonum tart?
When I restart Graphites, should I try it again for a week?

In antimonium tart the chest is full of mucus but very little is expectorated.You can try antimonium tart if you think that you need that.Restart Graphitis only when cough problem is cleared.

To clear meobian gland blockage(causing stye) and re-establish flow, Pulsatilla is taken. If it does not work, Staphysagria is given. In chronic cases Hepar Sulph is advised.
The doctor says that it is not stye but the case of a blocked gland. My feeling is that both are one and the same. Let us ignore the name of the disease and treat it by one or more of the medicines mentioned above. This is only my suggestion(potency 6C).
Let erica and sajjad decide as basically they are handling the case.

I have a kit where everything is in a 30c potency. How does this compare to 6c or 6x? What is the normal 30c dosage?

After a week since it started, the cough is still on - stopped all homeo. Took him to an allopath who says no redness of throat anymore or any wheezing and it must be the residual phlegm in the throat and maybe a mild allergy - gave him an expectorant to clear up the mucus. The cough is wet in the mornings, worst the 2-3 hrs after he wakes up. After a while it goes down but not completely. Turns mostly dry in the afternoon, with a few wet coughs - sometimes completely subsides for a few hours in the evening.
Any homeo for this ondition? Want the cough completely goen before i start on the eye again.

Try Heper sul6c,four times daily alongwith 5 tablets of Kali mur 3x,four times.I hope it will help.

Further to my post dt.8th.Dec.05. Since the chalazion is there for some time, let us start with Staphysagria which takes care of both recent and delayed cases.
Stye is the first stage of chalazion.

It may take longer than a week. Now, subject to Eric/sajjad agreeing to Staphysagria, mix in the ratio of 1 drop of medicine in 1 ounce of distilled water/non-medicinal spring water(boiled)/rain water(collected after it has rained for a few minutes)/last choice,drinking water(boiled to drive out chlorine) and shake the mixtures vigorously at least 10 times. Out of this, use 1 tea-spoonful as a dose.
Take thrice a day. Shake the mixture every time, as before, to increase its potency, before taking the next dose.
Keep reducing the frequency of the dose as you feel better.
Do not put strong smelling things, like smoke, raw onion,garlic,mint,strong tea/coffee/spices,tooth paste etc., one hour before and after taking medicine, in the mouth.
Do keep informed of progress.

Now he no longer coughs at night while asleep. A phlegmy cough in the morning , worst after he wakes up - it seems to settle down later in the day and he coughs very little in the evening and night.

Drop about 5 globules/pills in an ounce of water.
In your earlier posts you have mentioned that Graphite had made no change. Now, from your statement it appears that there was reduction in size before the cough problem!

I am not sure if there was a marginal reduction in size after graphites, or I was imagining it - no significant reduction definitely. Now am SURE chalazion is original size.

You need to resolve the cough at the moment. It would be best to stop all remedies and allow the body to heal this cough fully. Start remedies again if cough worsens (come back for advice), but as long as improvement is there, as it is at the moment, then no need to continue with remedies.
At the moment it seems to me that all these remedies have done their job and the vital force is now healing well and will continue unaided. You may even find that the eye condition will now improve further slightly with no remedies.
For the cough - Only begin remedies again if the cough worsens
For the eye - come back for remedy advice when the cough is gone. In this case pls come back and rewrite the symptoms of the beginning of this eye condition so that we can be reminded of the original symptoms of this eye problem.
To help the body rid itself of the cough let steam be inhaled first thing in the morning to clear mucus that has gathered during the night, this should relieve the morning cough. the steam needs no essential oils, just water.

I have been reading a lot of homeo for over 2 years and practicing as a hobby - with surprisingly a lot fo success on family and friends. My neuralgia was 90%cured with homeo.
My daughter and husband seem to respond well and immediately. My son never seems to - even with his infantile asthma we had to give up and resort to steroids for a year till he outgrew it. Is there somethign as some people not suited for Homeo or are we jsut not hitting on the right medicine?
