attn Joe De Livera - nat phos 6xMy son has silent reflux and has been prescribed with prevacid. I wanted to try something else before giving this. Ihave started nat phos 6x as you have told other people about iit. So far he has had two doses (half tablet dissolved after each feed) I could not find the nux comics and was wondering what role it plays and was wondering if it is absolutely crucial to his remedy? Can you follow me along with the treatment and give me further advice to my situation?

'The danger of using PPI drugs'
I shall copy my default therapy for Baby Gerd below:
It is very likely that your baby suffers from Gastric Reflux aka GERD (Gastro Esophagal Reflux Disease)
The remedies that have proved to be very effective for Baby GERD are:
Nat Phos 6x dose half tablet dissolved in milk given immediately after a feed.
Nux Vomica 30c in the Wet dose about 300ml after a feed twice daily.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.
You will STOP all other drugs prescribed for baby which as you have already seen have not done any good.
Please confirm that you burp baby immediately after each feed.
You will avoid eating all food that can cause any distress to baby. You must know that they are passed on to baby through your breast milk.
You (the mother) will take Nat Phos 6x dose 2 tablets after each of 3 meals daily and Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily. The idea is that your milk will pass the effect to baby. You may like to know that this remedy will also help to reduce your weight by 1kg per week very safely.
Report progress in 24 hours and as often as you wish on this thread .
You do NOT have to use Nux VOMICA right now. You will only give him the Nat Phos 6x.

it has been almost 24 hours since i began your treatment. all day he has still been getting fussy when he eats as he was before. the last two feedings have been better however as he doesn't get as fussy at all. after i give him the NP he burps a lot wasier as well. also i have noticed he doesnt not reflux as much, it was silent reflux so he didnt spit up before but i could hear it coming up.
while he still has some symptoms of the reflux he does seem easier to make happy after a feeding. howeever we did have a hard time tro get him to sleep today.
should i continue with tbe half tablet as instructed for now?

I noticed that I copied a message I posted to another mother who was prescribed Prevacid for her baby which you had fortunately not given yours.
You can continue to give him Nat Phos 6x dose half tablet after every feed and when he shows signs of not wanting it, you may stop it.
It is absolutely SAFE in use and you are also invited to take it yourself as it will pass over to him in your breast milk while also helping you to lost your excess weight. Your dose is 2 tablets after each of 3 meals and you can expect to reduce 1kg per week.
