Hi zady,

Bit of an off topic question. I have a wicked cold and am absolutely miserable. The homeopathic stuff I bought didn't help. I am wanting to take some DayQuil but am afraid because back when the other homeopath was treating me for insomnia, I had an allergy attack and took some Benadryl. It reacted awful with the sepia and my insomnia got worse. The homeopath said Benadryl can antidote the remedy.

I know it's been a few months since I took the remedy you recommended to help my insomnia (which is still gone) and I'm afraid to take any OTC stuff in case it antidotes that remedy. Do you have any advice? Can I just take some DayQuil and try and get some relief? I feel awful but don't want to make things worse.

Thank you

On and off since yesterday I've been mostly chilly. At this moment I'm comfortable. Last night I woke up soaked with sweat.

I don't believe I've been running a fever.

Head is very stuffy, nose is so drippy with thin, clear mucous. I can breathe in and out of my nose.

Have had a few sneezing attacks.

Ears are full feeling, clogged.

Had a frontal headache last night but that's mostly gone

Have a cough with some phlem.

Eyes are a bit watery.

My nose is just so incredibly drippy. Even right after I blow it, it will drip. And head is so stuffy.

Thank you.

Don't give your son any remedy.

Hi zady,

I took the arsenica yesterday as directed. Am starting to feel a bit better finally.

Baby woke up like every 45 min last night I think. Should I try the remedy on him tonight or wait? What is that remedy aiming to do for him?

Thanks.

Hi zady,

Just wondering if u have any more thoughts on my son? Night wakings are frequent still sometimes every hour or less. I'm still sick, and only sleeping maybe 3 hours a night.

Had anyone ever had luck with homeopathy and a wakeful baby? I feel like I'm grasping at straws but am desperate.

Thanks.

When did this night waking problem start, precisely? Try to put Month/year!

Was it there from the beginning?

How was your pregnancy? Did you have face any issues/problems during that period - stressful situations, shock, fright, etc

What vaccinations have been done?

Hi Zady,

Thanks for getting back to me.

The problem started when he was just about 7 months, so that would have been late July/early August of 2012. Before that, he was a pretty good sleeper, only waking 1-3 times a night max.

It seemed to coincide with his first two bottom teeth coming in, and then he didn't want to suck his thumb anymore which he did a lot to help him sleep.

My pregnancy was very easy, and enjoyable. However, near the end of it I was being monitored a lot as they were concerned baby's growth wasn't what it should be. Doctors kept pressuring me to induce, and I was put on modified bed rest during the last 2 weeks. During this time, my husband and I fought A LOT over how to handle the proposed induction. My husband made it very stressful for me, even up until the time I was in the hospital being induced. He kept pressuring me to go home and he can be quite 'mean' and just not supportive or kind during these kinds of things. I felt kind of alone and very stressed.

No vaccines have been done for him other than the vitamin K shot into his foot which they gave in the hospital for clotting (in case he didn't clot). HOwever, we shouldn't have done that either because we didn't end up circumcising.

I did get a flu shot while I was pregnant which in hindsight I also wouldn't have done.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Did you have a stressful situation just before he stopped sleeping in the night?

What exactly happened 1-2 days before he stopped sleeping in the night? For example, fight, fright, shock. Teething part I have noted. What else happened?

Zady101 last decade
Gosh, unfortunately I can't remember that far back anything specific that may have happened.

And his night wakings were sort of progressive. Meaning, he slowly started wak

Sorry..

He slowly started waking more and more. He didn't necessarily go from only waking 1-3 times to wak

Ugh!

He didn't start suddenly waking up every hour or so out of no where. It was gradual, over the period of weeks, where he just started waking more and more frequently. Last night was randomly better. He was up late because of nye, about 10. Then woke at 1030 but then slept til 3. Then from 3 on he woke about every hour or so.
