Lingering Bronchitis
My daughter has had lingering bronchitis for about 6 weeks. It started with a terrible very frequent cough. Now she is down to coughing a few times a day, but the cough is exhausting. She runs to the bathroom and spits out white phlegm, sometimes it's thick, sometimes it's just saliva. She needs a drink right after. There is no lethargy/fever. her energy is just fine, but the cough won't go away. And her eyes get red and watery for a a minute after (i think from the effort the coughing takes) any remedy suggestions? She responded well to Ant-t in the beginning, but it stopped working weeks ago.katherine123 on 2013-12-10
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I suggest you to give her a single dose of BACILLINUM 200c and after a gap of two days start ANTIM TART 30C & BRYONIA 30c alternately two times each in a day with a gap of about 3-4 hours for just three days & stop.
Kindly report after a few days.
God willing she will be OK by then.

Hi Katherine,
if you are in usa/canada, Europe you are going to have to
order Bacillinum 200 from Helios Homeopathic Pharm
in the UK, bc you cannot get this remedy otherwise without
a prescription.
It takes 7 to 10 days to get it. In the meantime, I would,
if in usa, get her some Wellness Formula for children from
Whole Foods. It is a combo of herbs and vitamins and they
have it for adults- been around for 20 years, very effective.

daktersaab and simone717, thank you for your replies.
I didn't end up ordering the bacillinum, because her cough just started getting a lot better. For the past week, she usually coughs just once, around 9:30 pm when she is sleeping. It is still exhausting and deep, but is shorter (lasts 10-15 seconds) and dry with no phlegm coming up. She also says she sometimes coughs a little when they go outside in school (we are in NYC so the air is cold). I am not there to hear it, but she assures me it's not the scary cough.
Any advice? Would Spongia maybe help?
