The ABC Homeopathy Forum
I think I might be having panic attacks, But I'm unsure, I really need some help.
I haven't been having a very good few months at all. I lie pathologicaly and that has caused me to lose a lot of friends recently, my pet cat died, and I guess that's really when this stuff started.I've been reading up on panic attacks, and it says that usually come spontaniously. But this is like one consistent one.
I frequently have chest pain.
I frequently get sharp headaches, that are more far back in the head than most.
I can't sleep because my heart starts beating fast when I close my eyes, and that scares me, and I think I'm having a heart attack, Breathing into a bag helps but only a little. I feel dizzy, I'm constantly afraid that I'm going to die.
I cant consentrate on anything.
Sometimes all these feelings vanish, and I feel like I'm back to normal, and that feels so good... but it's becomming more and more rare.
I feel detatched from reality, and I'm scared... help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Take Ignatia 200 one dose which is two drops or two pills and see how your symptoms change over the next week or so.

Dear EuohoriaEscape,
Your not alone in this. I have had problems with Panic attacts all my life and your explenation is exactly that ! You almost always think you are having a heart attack and feel so afraid that you are going to die. You feel very detached from reality and feel like your going crazy. (to the point that you don't even want to share what your experiencing to anyone full -you downplay- cause you feel like they will think your nuts!
There are things to help with this out there....MY only cure was going on Paxil (antidepressant) to stop them but until you find something that works for you just know that when you have these attacts you are not going to die it is the symptom. You can't breath, it is the symptom, you are not going bizzerk, it is the symptom. It helps you to focus on this, breath deep and ride it out. because all your extra panicing just makes it worse and makes you more afraid.
IT CAN BE SOLVED, and take comfort that many people have had these attacks at one time in there life and have recovered. Sometimes it is just temporary.
