The ABC Homeopathy Forum

3 year old with phlegm cough

My daughter is 3 and otherwise healthy child. Woke up with thick green boogers that she picks out of her nose but are not runny. She coughs mostly at night at when she wakes up. It is very phlegmy and seems to be from her chest. She is not lethargic and is behaving fine. Very light fever, less than 99.9, which seems encironmental more than anything. At the onset of symptom I used Hepar Sulph but do not see any improvement. Would spongia 30c work for this? What dosage should I use?

Thank you!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
No, I don't think Spongia will work on this. It looks more like Kali Bich.

Give in 30C potency every 4 hours some 4 doses only.

I already see an improvement with first dose.just gave her a second dose. Should I complete a 3rd or 4th dose if she improves with second dose?

Thank you kindly!

Yes, stop the third and fourth dose if an improvement has set it.

Or you can give one dose a day for two days in case full recovery is not seen.

Thank you very much!!! I gave two doses yesterday and she went to bed fine. She woke up this morning and it was a bit phlegmy and I gave a 3rd dose and although she has coughed a few times during the day, it was not with phlegm just a dry cough.
